Id give this store/company 0 stars if I could. (1) THEY INTENTIONALLY SELL BROKEN ELECTRONICS. Do not buy anything that you cant THOROUGHLY INSPECT first. I asked 2 employees if the electronics I wanted to buy were tested before being put on the shelves. I was told they were. Still, I asked what I could do if I bought them & they didnt work. I was told not to worry, I could bring them back "to exchange" them. Sadly, this is misleading as they have a very old school way of doing this. (See the next point.) When I did bring the items back, I was told theyd be "redonated" despite me clearly telling them the items didnt work. I asked for a marker so I could write on the items that theyre broken. The staff REFUSED to clearly mark the items as broken. Fortunately my pen worked on these items, so I wrote "BROKEN" in large lettering. (2) THEY DO NOT STAND BY WHAT THEY SELL. They do not offer store credits or refunds. All they offer is bring the merchandise back and exchange it for something of equal value or less at the same moment that you bring back the merchandise. No such thing as store credit if theres nothing in the store useful to you. For a store with profits in the billions supporting wealthy CEOs, no wonder they dont care about standing by their products. I will never shop at any Value Village / Savers store again. And I will spread the word about them intentionally selling broken items. I will continue correcting people who believe their intentionally deceptive marketing. They mislead folks into thinking that theyre a nonprofit, but they donate only a tiny portion of profits to nonprofits. If you want to put your money where your mouth is and support nonprofit thrift stores, please educate yourself on the business practices of billion-dollar companies like Value Village before donating your items (and money) to their management and CEOs.

Great for women. Not great for men. I grew up creating my high school wardrobe from deals found at Value Village. Although this place appears to be very similar to the ones I visited as a youth, there are indeed problems if youre a man looking for decent clothing on the cheap. There are incredible options for women here and almost no stylish or semi-stylish options for men. I have found that this one-sided male/female issue is obviously the gospel for many thrift stores. Women seem to go through decent clothes periodically if not regularly, men tend to hold on to their clothes until the day they pass away, which would be the reason most of the mens clothing in thrift stores seem to have been supplied from a Norman Rockwell painting. Also, if you can smell the savings when you walk into a store, I tend to have a hard time being open to possibilities.

Value Village is usually a good place to go shop for second hand thrift items. However it loses two stars compared to other Thrift locations has there prices are relatively quite High. And they are not non-profit as opposed several other major Thrift locations. The staff is usually friendly and quick in the checkout. They do have several good deals on occasion and a rotating 50% color of the week. The story of Captain as clean as you would expect; not real clean not real dirty. Three stars Going will make you feel :-) CostValue: $$$•• Recommend: yes with some reservation. I am a Google Local Guide, my reviews are my own. This establishment has not compensated me, influenced, or requested my review in any way. :-)

Will never shop at this Value Village again. I found some decent items I was planning to purchase today but then discovered that customers are not allowed to use the restroom. Restroom is only for staff. This is ridiculous for a business reselling donated items they received for free. They cant provide a toilet? I would rather spend more money somewhere else and be treated humanely.

I like the large selection of mens wear they have to scavenge through. However, its rather pricey for a thrift store. I am not a fan of paying $15 for a sweat shirt just because it has a nike swoosh on it. If you looking for a wide selection this place is great. You just wont find the lowest prices (compared to other thriftstores - still cheaper than goodwill!)

Clothing overpriced, Halloween is pushed hard for months and made a big deal of, they seem to specialize in making their store creepy which is, well, creepy. And they dont let you use the restroom at all! Not even having to ask for the key which was annoying in the Goodwill, but not at all. Go next door to Office Depot or go to a real store.

This place is where I find new or gently used halloween costumes, clothing, household items, doll clothes for my granddaughters dolls and they have nice selection of jewelry, candle holders and odds and ends furniture. They also have linens, towels, toys for children and fitting rooms to try things on and a shoe section.

Prices are too high considering they dont pay their employees above minimum wage and have no overhead cost for their merchandise since its all donation. Over 18 dollars for a pair of jeans and kids jeans are still 5 dollars. Housewares have good prices but the rest of it is outrageous considering the stuff is used

Similar to Goodwill this place sells mostly second hand items. The quality of items is usually a bit better than Goodwill. We have found some great things here especially toys, kitchen items , and kids clothes. If you donate they will give you a coupon. They have a large selection of things.

Better than the big G. Money stays here in Washington. The store is a bit disorganized but is clean. I dont notice that used smell that you find at other second hand stores. Lots of good board games and puzzles. Just be sure to check to see all the pieces are there before purchase.

The organization and spacious feel makes this my favorite second hand store. They have everything, men, womens and kids clothes, homeware, toys, books, everything. The prices are good and always be on the lookout for their half off days because then the prices are unbeatable.

I love this store. Unfortunately, over the last few years their prices have gone up...but all thrift stores prices have gone up because they have to to stay in business. I still shop here on a regular basis for kids clothes and random stuff.

Value Village always has at least some good finds, and is often cheaper than other thrift stores. Their book selection is good as well, something I wouldnt say about other chain thrift stores.

Come here often. Its always clean, clothes are well marked (except shoes) and staff is friendly. They do have sales if you watch closely. This Sunday all clothing was 50% off! Woohoo!

Not a great selection, but not bad for Olympia. The problem is the pricing. Even the worst quality items are overpriced. Some things are more than they cost new.
