I went into Sephora curious about how to put on makeup and make a purchase. I kind of stood around, waiting to be approached while there was only one other customer in the store. I eventually approached an associate, asking about the $50 makeup purchase and showing me how to put the product on. The woman replied, "Uh huh". I stood there awkwardly, expecting her to show me which product to use and nothing. I couldnt believe how unhelpful they were. I was in the actual Sephora store before I visited the JCPenny store, and left because they were so busy, no one could help me. No longer going to Sephora in this area. Ulta has been super nice and helpful to me.

I waited 15 minutes for an employee to be available and left when I realized they wouldnt be done with their current customers anytime soon. I feel like if youre good at your job, youd learn some breakaway techniques to help multiple customers at the same time (I work in retail too), especially when the mall is busy and theres only 2-4 employees working at a time.. its a little ridiculous. I wasnt even acknowledged the entire time.

JCPenny is sort of a hit or miss for me. They have a selection, but everything seems bland.
