Love the MAC cosmetics. Lipstick stays put, eye shadows creamy, wonderful colors.....but the employees are not that friendly. I went into the MAC store four times in the past 6 months and no one ever seemed eager to help us. They would say, "hi" as they were walking away. My last visit was with my teenage daughter. She wanted a couple lipsticks so we went in to try some on. We were the only ones in the store and there were 4 sales associates yet they were all over by the check out counter talking. I had hoped one would spend some time with my daughter explaining the lipsticks but she just found the one we were looking for and walked away. Really, the manager needs to train the sales people much better. I was very disappointed. I will still buy MAC cosmetics but not at that store.

So excited to spend an hour getting pampered - MAC is my most favorite product line and I was looking forward to some new tips and dropping some cash. Unfortunately, after making an appointment the week prior, I was told no one was set up for me and Id have to "wait a minute" until they could get it straightened out. For the next twenty minutes I had to repeatedly ask if someone was going to help me and literally had a hard time getting eye contact from anyone. I consider myself a patient person and have worked years in the service industry, but I couldnt believe how poorly I was treated. After 40 minutes, and securing an appointment at the Washington Square store, I left. No one seemed to care. My appointment with Vanessa at the Washington Square Nordstroms was fantastic.

In all honesty, I dont know anything about Mac computers and dont own an i-product, but its always fun to go into the the store anyway. Whenever I go into this Mac Store, at least one or two staff greet me and offer assistance if I need it. Then, they just let me play with their stuff without bugging me. The store always looks organized, the employees are always knowledgeable about the merchandise and they always thank me (for taking the time to look around) when I walk out the door. You cant beat old-fashioned customer service.

To be honest, I dont really like the MAC stores. I have found that the employees dont tend to be as friendly as at the MAC counters. Although there is a man who works at the Bridgeport store who is very kind and helpful. That said I personally prefer the MAC counter at Lloyd center, but I have been going there with my mother since I was a little girl.

I went to the. Bridgeport Mac Store yesterday and the women who worked with my daughter was wonderful .. Very kind and helpful .. I am sorry I didnt get her name because she was really a great representative for Mac.

The sales reps are always very helpful and knowledgable, even while enabling my addiction to MAC lipstick. The store hours should be posted on this Google Maps thing though.
