I took my dog to the groomers and had his nails trimmed, had his ears cleaned, and flea medicine application. The groomer was very helpful and took care of my dog while I waited. The groomer gets 5 stars. Now for the store itself, the employee that was working in the dog section was not helpful at all. I had my dog with me, I was interested in purchasing a dog collar for my dog. I asked the employee if I could measure my dogs neck, I wanted to do this since my dog was getting a little overwhelmed in the store from the sounds and other dogs and did not want to stress him out more by trying on different collars. The employee then said he did not have a tape measure to measure my dogs neck and the metal tape measure would not work. Common sense would be a cloth tape to measure the dogs neck. I then purchased several items at check out, the clerk had my drivers license and then forgot to give it back to me. This happened around 4:30pm in the afternoon. It took until the next day for someone who was bright enough to call me back by looking up my name in the computer system to get my phone number. I was driving around without my license all that day. I then had to drive back to this location which is 25 miles each way to get my license due to the clerk leaving it on his register. Needless to say after all that happened I will never go back to this store.

I live in Olympia was down visiting my mother stopped in at your store and the same cashier helped me the last time Hayley I was so happy she was there again shes by far the best cashier that Ive ever met at a petco or petsmart for that matter, she goes way out of her way to help everyone Ive noticed even when she called for backup and nobody came and some rude lady was saying how long she had to wait but this cashier stayed calm and nice thank, you for having such a great lady working at your store she tried to call on the phone to your main office to add coupons that were past expired I didnt realize all this time I shouldve been getting nobody ever said that I had to redeem them until recently. So now I know that Hayley did her best they didnt want to budge only gave me $5.00 I have coming I spend hundreds of dollars between 4 rescue cats 4 rescue birds 1 rescue dog and 4 rescue chinchillas also a Russian tortoise, so I do have all my receipts I will be calling myself soon when I get a moment this nice lady was trying to save me time I thank you again Hayley stay sweet and dont let rude nasty people ruin your day your awsome

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS PETCO TO GET YOUR DOG GROOMED! If I could give 0 stars I would, thats how horrible my experience has been! I have gone twice and both times brought my dogs home VERY disappointed. I even had to come home to touch up what they did not get. (All the patches that they left. Also clean and trim my dogs rear end.) I pay good money (approximately $120) to get my dogs bathed and groomed. Its sad to pay that much money and not get your moneys worth!!! PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!

Groomers are great with our female dog. Price matching with their own sites online prices means that $29.99 item was $16.99 when I brought the site up on my smartphone. The location in Longview, WA, hasnt enough people on staff when I come in. I always have to hunt for anyone in the aquarium department.

Grooming department is a joke after coming in at 9 like told to waited 10 min to be told she not coming till 10 so went home came back at 10 waited again to be told 1030 that was an hour and a half of stress on my dog to be jerked around when we left it was 1030 still no groomer wow really

Worst shopping experience ever! Rude cashier, talked to her friend instead of helping me out with finding out why my account wasnt coming up on their computer so I couldnt get credit towards pet rewards. Then sarcastically said " have a nice day ". I will never shop there again.

Good aupply of pet supplies. Excellent food selection. The "accessories" are a bit pricey, but of good quality. They have a pet clinic every two weeks for vacinations and chipping. They chip your pet for $15, vs. $70 at the veterinary clinic.

Prior to the death of my beloved pet, PetCo was the only place we would get her stuff from. Prices are reasonable, products are awesome, service is top notch. Sadly since she died I just cant go inside there due to stirring up some memories.

Staff is friendly. My issue is with other people shopping here being rude and inconsiderate! People bring pets in off leash, interrupt the employees when they are helping other customers and the lines can get long when checking out.
