I visited Regency store on Monday 15th for the purpose of buying a formal dining set. I was immediately greeted by a wonderful saleswomen who goes with name Hanna. She assisted me and my wife for selecting a table in a timely manner. She asked us whether we purchased from Regency before. I honestly replied with a no. Then she she stated that she will threw in a first time buyer discount to encourage us buying the set. I shared my terrible experience with her that I received from Ashly furniture store in Woodbridge where the set i originally purchased was on a back order which i never received even after their sales person confirmed the delivery date. I found out late from the receptionist after three days from the time i was to receive the set that my order had been pushed out by the manufacturer. She was very compassionate and apologetic although her company does not own that store. I decided to give Regency a try after I found out their google rating reviews is way better than Ashlys (1.5 star what a shame). Hanna informed me that the sale is final and if there were any damage with the furniture on the delivery to not accept that particular damaged item. Something that most sales people avoid to disclose. Instead, most salemen mention that you have a right to report the damages within 72 hours. Initially, I and my wife were told the furniture was not on the warehouse and that it will take 5 to 8 weeks to get delivered. But i received two calls. One call was the next day with a live voice thanking me for the business I had brought to them unlike Ashlys automated voice maile. The second call was around a week in which Hanna informed me that the warehouse received recent shipments and that my dining set is available for delivery. Today is Memorial Day, I received my dining set free of any damages. Way to go Hanna. You made my day in this fantastic and beautiful day. I will look forward to come and personally thank you for your unparalleled kind service.

We purchased a sofa and love seat, made by Ashley, from Regency Furniture. Less than 48 hours later the "leather" started to peel. We sent pictures to the service department within 48 hours of receiving the furniture stating that we were scared to use the furniture as it might peel more. We talked to the store manager, Layth, and showed him the pictures. He said the furniture did not appear to be leather, although the tag on the furniture says 100% leather, but his hands were tied and we had to go through the service department to get anything resolved. He also stated that he would work as our advocate with the service department in resolving the issue. Two weeks later after having played phone tag with the service department we finally were able to talk to the rep. who was handling our account. She said since we could not tell her how it happened, how are we supposed to know, they are the furniture people, she could not do anything and the store manager, Layth, was the only one that could do anything about it. So Layth said only the service department can help us and the service department said only Layth can help us. Sounds like we are being given the run around. We went back to the store on a Friday the 17th of February to try to talk to Layth who was not there. We left him a message but he still has not called us. Not to mention when the furniture was delivered there was a mechanical problem with one of the recliners which was supposed to be fixed and still has not been. Avoid these people at all cost. $1900.00 for furniture and we are being blown off. Another example of how a business will blow off the consumer as the ants will keep marching in. We will post an update if Layth or any rep. from the company tries to resolve this issue with us.

My wife and signed on our first house in late June of 2010. Knowing we were going to sign we decided to go and but furniture. We heard a great commercial on the radio and decided to go to Regency. We picked out the furniture paid for it and were told that the delivery would be in 2 weeks. Thats Great! The week after we move in. After we recieved no call that week to set up a delivery, we called them. The store manager told us that the furniture was not due till the second week of September and that she would waive the whopping $125 delivery fee for the inconvieniance. So it is now the second week of september Thursday the 9th to be exact. No call. So I called them. Well tried... No one picked up at that store. I called 3 times in 45 minutes and put the phone on speaker. The phone rang untill the phone company hung me up, thats about 10 minutes of rining each time. So I called 3 other locations before I decided to look up a corporate number. I called the corporate 866 number and finaly got through. Customer service guy said please hold I will conect you with the Wood bridge store, I said no no no hold on one minute... Well the resolution to this is that I still have not recieved the furniture and was told the truck is due in on the 17th of September. What a run around! They need a sign outside thier store that says "Shop at your own risk". Good luck!

This store is exactly what it says it is - a clearance store. Its a warehouse. Keep that in mind. They have super cheap (as in cheaply-made) furniture, as well as really nice stuff. Your price point will be the deciding factor on whether youre happy with the selection or not. I went in there with specifics (a dining room table, large, all wood) and found the perfect set. Solid, stable, stylish... One major thing to note: Bartering skills are necessary. A MUST. If you come from an international family, or are a world-traveler, go you! Youll do fine in here. If you have no idea what barter means, you are going to struggle, complain, and probably hate whatever you purchase, and in return, hate the store. The return policy is pretty simple - you get what you pay for, and no returns. So, make sure you REALLY like whatever it is youre getting. When I received my purchase, one chair was completely split/broken. The sales guy told me that if something was wrong, I could bring it back for an "exchange". I took those two chairs (it was a set) back, got some push-back, but you better believe I got two replacements (again, enter the barter/negotiations/threats)... I gave this place 4-stars because, well, if youre prepared, can barter, have some common sense, some determination, and arent phased by pushy sales people, youll probably find something awesome like I did.

This place is a piece of garbage. From the sales people to the customer service. This place is one of the worst places to by furniture. It might be a little cheaper than other places, but that is not a good reason to buy furniture from there. I bought a king bed back in May and it was delivered close to the end of August. When the bed was delivered, the foot board was broken. They had to reschedule another visit about a week later to deliver a new foot board. They FINALLY put the bed together. My wife and I left for the weekend after that and did not get a chance to sleep in the bed until Monday after we got back from our trip. We werent in bed for more than 10 minutes, and the bed broke. The support bar that connects to the head board, on the right side, split in half and the bolts came flying out. Since the bed has broken, its been 2 weeks and still no one has responded my email or to my phone calls about getting it fixed. This is the worst furniture company in the world. I wouldnt by anything from them. They have a no return policy, the staff is awful, and the customer service is the worst. I would be embarrassed to work for this piece of crap company. I would leave them 1/4 of a star for the rating if I could.
