I thought I was the only one who hated this target but judging by the reviews Im not the only one. This target is the worst! First of all they cannot retain any employees and half of them barely speak English and are so rude so dont even bother asking them a simple question. Especially at the front desk. I occasionally go to get a price match or make a return and I am greeted with attitude, eye rolling and general unpleasantness. They try their best to not accommodate you at the front desk. They have the worst customer service. Secondly it doesnt matter if its a Tuesday at 10 AM or Friday at 7 PM they never have registers open. Youre lucky if you have 2 open downstairs and maybe 1 upstairs. Meanwhile theres 10 employees walking around aimlessly and they are constantly being called to registers but it doesnt matter the line has already reached the aisles. Hey heres an idea why dont you just have them STAY at the registers, while other people are assigned to stock the shelves. It doesnt make any sense. I have literally watched employees at a register walk away when they no longer have a customer, while another register three spots over has five people… How about you just call someone over to your register instead of disappearing to walk a lap around the store while the line backs up again. (Eye roll) Ive heard this is a training facility for other target stores, and that makes me sad. Because this is literally the worst target in terms of customer service and managing employees around the store in different areas. I cant imagine having them train anyone. I drive out of my way to go to Burke or Merrfifield Targets now. Sad.

I have shopped here in the past but never had to return anything before. Today i had to return a USB cord. They told me electronic items cant be returned after 30 days. For a USB cord????? Really???? Also the person at returns was like a robot. She would not engage me in any conversation and would only repeat that it is store policy to not take back electronic items after 30 days. I tried to tell her that the policy likely was meant for TVs etc but she would have none of it. Then suddenly she said she could give me a discounted refund on a gift card which is what they do if there is no receipt. I questioned this and received the same store policy comments. She really looked and acted like i was an intrusion on her day even though i was the only customer in the return / customer service area. I requested she call a manager which she did and the disembodied voice said to give me the entire refund on a store card. Irritating. Also, there were no cashiers, only self serve registers. A woman with babies asked if a cashier could ring her up and the staff person overseeing the area just stood there and said there were not enough peple to call a cashier. Im pretty sure that woman wont be back. Im pretty sure i will buy enough to spend my store card but will try to avoid Target in the future. Walmart is close by and Amazon is in my house. Good luckTarget. Dont say you were not warned.

Beware of rain. This store has a problem with leaks. I came here late in the evening 8/12/2017 got most of my items. My child needed to use the restroom so we went to the bottom level restrooms, and walked through one of the check out lanes to finish shopping when I slipped and fell. Theres no sign, nothing, just a huge puddle of water I see after I fall. The fall caused a bruise on my foot and leg pain. No one cared. As I am getting back up off the floor I see a young lady employee (She had to have witnessed what happened or at least heard it, its impossible to have had not noticed when I yelled about falling) walking towards the restrooms behind me and I inform her that someone needs to do something about this huge puddle of water I just slipped and fell in. She just acknowledged what I said and walked on. Watch your step, people. They dont care.

Minuses: This Target is poorly laid out. Some apparel is downstairs, some is upstairs. Some home items are downstairs, and some are upstairs. Today when I went, office supplies seemed to be located downstairs, but after searching forever for some binders, I found all the "back to school" stuff being stocked upstairs. I cant find any logic as to how they have this store set up. It always seems to take me longer to find something in this particular Target than in any other store. Pluses: Clean, staff is friendly and efficient, my kids love the escalators.

I tried to return a $20 picture frame at Target which had broken because it was defective (and cheap). I was outside the 90 day return window so they would not take it back, even though it was defective. I just hadnt had time to drive all the way over there. Everyone was rude and dismissive, from the clerk to the store manager, to the “supervisor” on the phone who tried to get rid of me by telling me to call the manufacturer. So… I will no longer be shopping at Target. Too bad, as I did a lot of my shopping there.

When you call and want to reach a person, you press zero. The recording tells you its an invalid entry. Its very difficult to reach a real person via phone! This store is not well organized, feels claustrophobic, and never has what Im looking for. Unfortunately its the closest store, so I usually drive out of my way to the one in Burke which is much more organized and the staff is friendlier as well as more willing to help.

This Target reminds me of my favorite location back home in Chicago. 2 levels of greatness! The only complaint is have is that the checkout lines were extremely long because they didnt have enough registers open. I suggest more employees working on weekends. I had to go upstairs to checkout because everyone else was checking out downstairs. The location is in a perfect area and theres even a mall entrance inside the store.
