Poor customer service. Advice is good only if one particular person is working. They seemed burdened by me when I ask questions or need help. I thought it was because I was asking for more service than they are trained to provide Ive been using this store for over 10 years because its the only place that has the variety of lamps that I like. Today was the last straw. Never going there again. In both the Fair Oakes and Springfield shops every sales person I have seen ignores that I am there never ask if I need anything. I am usually one of two customers. Its really sad. I always approach them after about 10 minutes of looking or gazing. They have a positive attitude and are kind but I just cant stand that they see me struggle while they always talk among themselves, joking having fun and not helping me. Today at the Springfield store after finding out that the $300. Refund receipt that I got in Jun was lost and they have no way of tracking it. I accept blame. I didnt argue just said thank you I understand and proceeded to look for the lamp idea I envisioned so I could buy it someplace else. There was one other customer there plus a manager and two other sales associates. They all talked with each other and the customer until she left. After she left I walked near them waiting to ask a question and they never stopped to check on me. Im done. This place is not worth compromising my dignity another moment. I am 58 and the associates might be in my generation and should know better.

I had this old lamp from my grandmother and even though it broke years ago, I just couldnt bring myself to trash it. When I heard about the Lamp Factory I thought I would bring my grandmas lamp over there to get it fixed. My number one pro about this place has to be that they have great customer service. I was talking to this guy and he really seemed to care about fixing my lamp which proved to me that he would do a good job. And wouldnt you know it, he did. I even even got a new lampshade that dims the light just right and is so pretty. If I ever need a lamp fixed again, I know where to go.

20 Years ago I went in to get a new lampshade for a mid-century lamp. The clerk suggested I bring in the lamp to select the right shade. Once I had the lamp in the store I selected a beautiful silk shade, but the clerk was concerned about the safety of the lamp since the insulation on the socket was crumbling. They went ahead and rewired the lamp and put in a new socket (at nominal cost), and I am still enjoying the lamp today. I still get many positive comments on it from friends. Ive bought other lamps and accessories from this store. They know their business and provide a great service.

I called the other day with a question regarding the reattachment of a light assembly to an older model Casablanca fan. While they no longer carry that model, and it would have been easier for them to just sell me a new fan they transferred me over to a technician who carefully and simply explained which wire went where and sure enough the fan and light assembly are working again. Their standards of customer service is something that will make me recommend them to anyone in search of light fixtures / ceiling fans/ installation etc.

I had occasion to work with a number of the employees of the Outlet in Springfield and was very impressed by their knowledge, customer service awareness, and ability to identify problems and solve them. My visit was my first but it wont be my last. Whenever I have problems with any lamps or want to purchase a new one, the Springfield Outlet store is where Ill go.

great customer service. A lot of different ceiling lights, wall lights/sconces, mirrors, lamps, ceiling fans, and especially lamp shades to choose from. Prices are very good too for a specialty store.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Poor customer service and the staff members are LAZY. This place should be closed. I was going to buy two chandliers but the customer service sucks.
