GW Tower Center compared to other Wargames stores in the Northern VA area, is out of this world. I have been to this location over the years and so far its been the best Ive seen under Daves management at this location. The store had been cleaned up and reorganized so its more roomy and the atmosphere is more enjoyable. Daves service compared to previous managers, is top notch. He is knowledgeable, will get you what you need and will make recommendations on the GW product line. His Painting expertise is also very helpful. If you are looking to start a new hobby, get your kids started in a new hobby, or, like myself, coming back to an old hobby and need to catch up. This is the place to be.

Love this GW location. Dave is great at cultivating a community of players with an emphasis on fun and building each up to paint and model thier best work. All to often gaming clubs and stores form a tight knit circle of players and dont allow anyone to enter their little universe. This store and the people who frequent it have made me (new to the store not the hobby) feel more welcome then any other gaming club I have ever been around. Dave is at the forefront of this accepting, inviting and all around great atmosphere.

This store is determined to turn customers away. I have been denied the opportunity to make a purchase on multiple occasions. Most recently at 4 pm on a Saturday the manager, who was standing in front of the store and chatting with his friends, said that they were "closed for lunch". I said thats too bad because now you will not get my $40. Reply was, "sorry". Their loss. Not the first time Ive been turned away during business hours. I wont be back.

The customer service here is phenomenal! When I walked in, the employee was in the middle of a table top game but he immediately stopped to greet me and offered his help and advice. When I told him I was new and looking to learn he asked around the other customers for me and set me up with an introductory game! He answered every question of had and really made what was going to be a nervous experience a great one. THANK YOU!

Since new management: Very friendly, open community. Very friendly and helpful management (Dave). Great place for warhammer, warhammer 40k and the hobbit table top players or curious newbies to learn. Also Miniature painting class on sundays @3pm. They sell the miniatures, novels, paints and kits. If you more into painting and art this is also a great place to see great miniature paint jobs. Only wish the place was bigger.

Great place. I agree with the last poster. People dont really know whats going on here. One guy does it all. And a lot of models have become web store exclusives. The fact they dont have them is based in the uk. Not that store. I would really recommend everyone go give this place a look. Its 2 hours away but I still make the drive

Just started playing and had lots of questions. The guy working helped me out as well as the guys there playing on the tables. They even offered me to swing by and hangout for a game and if I needed help painting they would show me how. I will be back.

The guy working here is always helpful, truely loves the game, and will help when you need or leave you be when you dont. Theres never any pressure, the atmosphere is relaxed, and overall its a fantastic place and far better than the typical GW store.

Went here once looking for 1 model, which is a common model only to find that they didnt stock it but could get it for me. Honestly, the whole point of going to a GW store for a model is that they should have it when my local retailer doesnt.

Great place for a game or two, decent crowd, helpful staff, and full of Games Workshop products. Great for both casual and competitive 40k/Sigmar. Mr. Walker does a great job in introducing new players to the hobby.
