This location is empty for a reason. I called H&M to find a location that had the size pants for my Halloween costume. The representative told me that they were available only in Gaithersburg and they transferred me to an associate at the store. After finding the item, the associate asked for my name and said they would be able to hold it for me and that I could pick it up the following day. After driving over an hour to get there, I asked an H&M employee to get the item for me from the back. She told me that she could not find the pants that I had them hold and that it was possible that the other associates could have put them back, but she was helpful enough to look for me for a while. I then spoke to the manager, Lydia, to see if she would be able to help me. She said there was nothing she could do but to call another location. Instead of looking for the pants and asking the employees where it could be, she said that I should have gotten the persons name who said they would hold it. I told her I would never come back and she shrugged it off and kept going about her business. This is the first time an associate has better customer service than the manager, and I was pissed I wasted my day and time there! H&M is my favorite store, but I would advise people to stay clear of this location

I want to start out by saying i love H&M .... but this experience was absolutely horrible I had bought a few items at the Frederick location a few days before and wanted to return a couple things here since i was near by. First i went to the check area saw an employee near by, they saw me and just blurted out "you have to go to the other side, this one is not open". As i make my way through the unfamiliar store i finally find the other check out area, as i get up to the front and pulled out my return( a body suit and a pair of shorts) with the receipt the women who was there said I could not return the body suit, when i had told her that i had talked to someone in the Frederick store and they said i would be able return it she said sharply that she could get her supervisor, then picked up the shorts and said i would not be able to return them because there was a piece of hair on them. I have worked in retail for three years and never would i ever come at a customer in this way. So disappointed , will not be shopping here anymore.

I shop here regularly, because its the closest H&M to me. Aside from the store always being a mess everytime I go in, they also have terrible customer service. I bought a pair of boots here in mid December, only wore them a few times before the sole started separating from the boot, and the varnish started flaking off. I know its been a few months since I bought them, but I tried to return them for store credit anyway, and I was told there was nothing they could do for me. I work retail, I know theres plenty they couldve done for me. I dont mind driving the extra few miles to Silver Spring.
