I would give this Roanoke Va store a zero if I could. We purchased two Galexy S7 cell phones from them on July 7th. Our sales guy Mike told us we were getting a $100.00 gift card from Samsung with each phone. Mike told us they would email them to my husbands email. He also said we would not get any additional fees from Verizon, since we signed up for a 2 year contract. Well a few days later my bill from Verizon had a $90.00 activation fee he FAILED to tell us about. After a week without getting a email we made another trip to Best Buy in Roanoke and once again Mike told us he would take care of it. He was on the phone supposedly with customer service for a good half hour. Once again said to give it another week and we would receive an email with our gift card info. After waiting 2 weeks I contacted the store and spoke with the manager Courtney. She kindly apologized and said there was NOTHING she could do about it. So I contacted customer service headquarters again today. They said there NEVER was a promotion and they were sorry we were misrepresented. To make a long story short after being on the phone with Best Buy Corporate half the day they told me to contact the store manager and once again talking to Courtney who said "there was NOTHING she could do for us". She said it should have showed on our receipt, so it wasnt in writing. I trusted their sales guy and never thought twice about checking my receipt. Even though I purchased $1,000.00 in merchandise in her store in 2 days. I told her I was going to turn this over to the Attorney Generals Office because her employee misrepresented us she didnt care. I said I was gonna take it civil and she said "I can no longer talk to you". I talked to Ryann with corporate and he handled our complaint like a true professional as well as Ana did early today. Ryann could only give us a $100.00 gift card to Best Buy because Courtney claims her employee Mike doesnt remember taking care of us....how convenient. I will never shop at this Roanoke store again we will make the drive to Christiansburg from now on. Courtney needs to learn how to talk to customers and show a little compassion instead of being so rude.

I cannot ever.. i mean EVER recommend this Best Buy store to ANYONE. I was in here twice in the past 2 weeks. Trying to find a few DVDs and a new TV for my basement. Their manager, i forget her name~but she was a shorter lady with short hair/glasses~ Basically tried to say I was lying about owning a big screen TV and working in retail. Just because I was talking about rigging a TV to work upstairs and downstairs on the same network, She said ~ Yeah, thats not going to work.... If you had ever owned a big screen TV, you would know that~ Um excuse me. Are you psychotic? Whats the deal... I mean I have absolutely no reason to lie about ever owning a big screen TV. Was she just jealous? Heck, I will never get that one! Then when I said I worked at hhgregg in the past.. she went on to say ~ If you ever worked at hhgregg, you would not be talking about rigging Tvs~ I think someone like this little lady should NOT be working with the public. Shes too weird. Also in the mobile phones section, I was walking by, and a dude named Bubba stopped me to ask me if I needed help. He called me *buddy* ever other sentence, and tried to act condescending. While I appreciate him stopping me and asking if I needed help, he should address me a little more respectfully. Geez. No wonder this store has so many bad reviews. Jealous weird employees who accuse you of lying about owning a big screen TV, or where you worked in the past....Then you have dudes that act condescending and call you *buddy* every other sentence. This place is just not a good place to shop.

I dont like to give 1 star on anything but I have to give 1 star here. The employee here in home theatre called me a idiot. Yes they called me an idiot. I was searching for a TV accessory. What prompted this was me telling him "You are looking at the wrong stuff. I already told you what I wanted". He replied " You told me two different things"I said "No I have only been looking for one thing"He says "Idiot" kind of under his breath.I called him out and he said it louder. I told management and they said "Ok we will look into it" with no sense of urgency at all. Had a customer come to me and said an employee was name calling, I would be on it in 1 second. I circled back around the store after finding/paying for my accessory (after finding it by myself) and saw this same employee who was name calling, laughing and joking about a guys dreads and saying his head looked nappy. I went to see the manager again and they told me " I think its in your best interest to leave the store, since you have already made a purchase". I replied " I think its in your best interest to go talk with this employee". The manager replied " You can trust me, we will" The manager then said "Please leave, you already purchased your item". Wow... Horrible customer service. I bet they never even talked with that employee. They should have come back there to home theatre with me and confronted them.

DO NOT BUY....WORST BUY...Watch this place. This is the Worst Best Buy i have ever visited. I bought a phone there and bought their protection plan. About two months later I returned because my phone had a blue screen, this is a galaxy S4. The guy at the counter had me sign forms for a loaner phone so i thought. He told me to take my phone and bring it back when my new one arrived. I laughed and asked him if i could just leave it because you cant see anything on the screen. The employee said yes no problem. I left the phone and come back a week later. I spoke with a lady and she stated sorry we lost your phone. She ordered me a battery and told me when it came in to come in and pick up my new phone. i did this and then was told we dont have your phone. When i talk to anyone they always say " I will call you back"....They never do. Long story short they have a thief there and will not investigate nor take care of a valuable customer. I asked them to review security footage and they said they couldnt find me in them....Funny I BET IF I STOLE SOMETHING THEY WOULD FIND THAT ON VIDEO.....If they would have resolved this i would have not said a word but this is it...this all started NOV. 4TH.....NOV.4th and its now FEB.19....Wow...

The staff at this place sucks. I was actually here twice last week looking for a Android phone. Good luck getting the staff to help you at anytime and extra good luck getting them to answer the phone at anytime. I dont even see how this retailer is around still. I guess they get some big sales... Anyways there was a blonde girl named Brandis (interesting name) who finally helped me and she was helping me even though it wasnt her department. She was very nice and helpful with getting me my phone though my only gripe is that it took close to 45 minutes (no joke) for someone that worked in the department to get the phone for me. Brandis apologized atleast 3 times to me which was good but didnt help the fact that so much time was wasted. I also want to add that some red haired guy named Nick Barber (full name was on his tag) tried to help me but he was just unprofessional and maybe a little creepy. If he didnt come off as unprofessional and stuff maybe he could have helped me but I just wasnt interested in his help. He initially approached me and just randomly took my hand to look at my ring and said "awesome ring" then coughed like 5 times and snorted and asked if he could help.
