I have to say that if you need anything at all, Rocking R Ace Hardware has it all! Rarely do I go in looking for something and come out empty handed. What is a shame is that Elkton VA has an ACE Hardware that has absolutely nothing except disappointment 90% of the time. I find it much easier to drive the 25 miles across the valley to the Harrisonburg Rocking R Ace Hardware, as I know what I go in for from one Nail, to pressure canning supplies and parts they will have it. Would I like to be able to walk down the street in Elkton and pick it up sure (dont they are a disappointment 90% of the time. Save Yourselves the hassle and drive to the Harrisonburg Rocking R Ace Hardware, they have it all!

For Eleven years now Ive been walking through their doors to obtain all manner of items for my home, gardens and DIY projects. Theres always someone to approach for assistance and theyll always either know or have information on the whereabouts of an item by use of their constant companion headsets and access to all the other staff on site. On occasion theyll not have what I need, and I will go to a box store in the community. However, if Ive the option, Ill choose a locally owned business, everyday. Ill (sometimes) pay the higher prices, to ensure that their business continues to offer an option to the boxes of the world.

Closes at 5 on Saturday. Great store; wide selection of nuts and bolts, along with all the other hardware store things youd expect. The sales stuff is energetic, helpful, and knows their stuff. To give you a picture, many of them wear headsets so they can rapidly communicate across the store.

This is definitely a man store. If you like tools at all, you will have to stay a while. And the discount aisle gets me every time Im in there. A great store.
