I like this store for certain products I need in my business. The quality of their tools are sufficient for D-I-Yers, but not for those who make their living with their tools. Their prices are excellent plus they always have coupons and free gifts. This store always seems very busy when I go there. The staff seems overwhelmed and stretched very thin. Many times the items I am looking for are out of stock or the staff havent had time to put the new stock up yet. That can be frustrating. The store seems a little disheveled too. I think the merchandise moves in and out so fast that the staff have a hard time keeping up. But, if you can put up with some of this, like I said the prices are excellent.

Word of advice, if you need a specific item and you call ahead to verify the item is in stock, make sure the employee visually verifies the item is in stock. This is the 2nd time in the last 3 months I have travelled over 40 miles to this store to purchase a large item only to be told they dont actually have the item after being told on the phone they do. Todays experience consisted of the supervisor claiming I did not call (even though my phone proves I did) and having an f-you attitude to the whole situation. This store needs to get its inventory in check and work on their terrible customer service skills.

Great selection of tools but wont be spending my money there. The staff is horrible on customer service. I asked a simple question as where or if they had a bathroom and the lady ignored me after I asked 5 times. Like and the only thing the manager could say was she may have been having someone talking to her in the ear piece? To be able to multi task is a key to customer service. The only thing that kept me from not causing a scene in the store was my work uniform. I was going to spend my money on a nice impact gun but no..sorry not sorry.

I really like Harbor Freight. The prices are excellent as anyone who has been there knows. The one on Capital Blvd is pretty good, in general. The store is organized and clean enough. I think the employees could be a little friendlier, and its sometimes hard to get people to tell you where things are, but for the prices I live with it. Their tools are of decent quality for the homeowner and hobbyist mechanic. If you make a living with tools, youd probably be better off with higher quality. For me, theyre perfect.

This company does have a great selection and great price on tools and more but this location is horrible on the phone and cant seem to stay organized. I called to get a visual confirmation on some truck ramps and was told that they were available. I went just 45 minutes later and was told that they were not in stock. Theres no way that somebody bought the same thing I was looking for in that amount of time! This location has lost my business.

BEWARE of buying a trailer at THIS location. I find Harbor Freight to be a great franchise, however, this location is horrible. I bought a trailer and it is now more than 3 weeks later and the manager has not sent me the origination paperwork and therefore I can not get it registered. I will be speaking to a DMV inspector tomorrow to file a complaint against them as it relates to vehicle sales.

I like the products, but the employees are young and do not know the first thing about customer service. If you know what you are looking for its an OK place to shop, but if you need any help you are better off going to some place where the employees know/understand their inventory. Very disappointed in my shopping experience. I will no longer shop there for my personal or business related needs.

This company provides an abundance of tools at fantastic prices. However, this particular location is poorly managed. Big ticket items are mislabeled and then cant be located in the back, employees are apathetic at best, lines are 6 people deep on a good day, and cashiers are incredibly slow. Even on a Tuesday afternoon, this location is worse than Walmart on Black Friday.

This is not the place for a professional mechanic to buy tools. But if you need something for a weekend project and dont want to pay top dollar - go here. It gets the job done. Beware - the store is addictive. They have just enough neat/interesting stuff to get you to buy more than what you came for.

With a free item with purchase and discount coupons theres no reason to not shop at Harbor Freight Tools. I suspect professionals might not think well of the products here for me, as a home owner/do it yourself er they are spot on. They work, the do the job and they arent overly expensive.

The customer service here is as non existent as in Walmart .... I asked for help finding something and the man said "look in aisle 4" I told him I had and without looking he said sorry good luck finding it!! Extremely unappreciative of the fact I was looking for a $100 tool!!!!!

If you want an item for a one time use or a short period of time before it breaks then try Harbor Freight. But most people know this but this store in Raleigh on Capital Blvd. in addition has the rudest employees Ive come across. I wish I could give them a negative number.

Got stuck in traffic, after driving 30 min got there right at 7:59 there were 7 customers in the store I told the lady at the door I needed one tool right behind here I could see it. She wouldnt let me in. I will never be back to this harbor freight.

You cant beat this place for tools. The quality is as good as you could want and 1/2 the cost of other brands. First place i go when i need something. The staff always greet you coming in the door and they have never been out of what i need!

You get what pay for. This stuff is cheap but works for the right now and need to have. Never had any really big let downs for the price I pay. Most the time items last much longer than I expected them too.

I got a generator from there and Ive had to take it back 6 times in the last couple months because it eitber wouldnt produce enough power or the string you pull to start it comes completely out.

This store has a horrible selection and service. The product quality has a lot to be desired. If you want better service and products to last, visit Northern Tool and Equipment.

They always have something to accommodate my needs. The prices do define the product quality, and the store can be a little congested, but they retain my business nonetheless.

Ladies working registers are friendly, extremely helpful. The tools are way more economical than other home improvement locations in the area! Would recommend to anybody.

I like the selection. I needed a splitter... $5 for a hunk of metal used to split wood is better than $20... its a splitter... not a piece of medical equipment...

You have to be careful. There have been times I have found better tools at a lower price at Sears. Some equipment does not last.
