My experience at DND was outstanding from start to finish. My fiancé and I made an appointment with Andrew to come in after she got off work one evening so we could show him some concepts we had for a setting and discuss center stones. Despite it being late in the evening, there was no absolutely no hurriedness or pressure. Andrew spent almost two hours explaining the 5 C’S of diamond grading and what is important in a stone to get the most for your money. He didn’t just show us certificates or stones set in plastic display boxes. He let us see and hold stones of all sizes, color and clarity grades. He taught us what was important and helped us locate a stone within our budget that was larger and higher quality than we thought possible. This was a far better experience than putting filters into a website and figuring out which diamond to get and what C to compromise to stay in budget. The setting is when the experience became truly amazing. We had an idea what we were looking for and we brought in a few photos of the features we were interested in. Andrew looked over all of our ideas and took measurements of my fiancé’s finger and said he would get a concept together. A few days later he called us in and he had a 3D rendering of the design we were looking for. It was high poly and he had some texturing input and explained the paves and how the setting was constructed. A few days after this we were able to check out the resin model the ring would be cast out of. This was another opportunity to make tweaks and customizations (none were needed because the ring was exquisite). Finally after another week I was able to pick up the finished ring. The experience at DND was perfect. No pressure and an owner who is proud of his work and takes it the heart that you are as proud of the final product as he is. The detailing and micro work on the ring were amazing (done in house by Andrew’s Father). Every time someone see’s my fiancé’s ring they are speechless. It truly lights up the room when she enters. I cannot more highly recommend going to DND. You will get something unique and of amazing quality. You will have a ring like to other. Don’t go to Jared and Helzburg or Kay or any mall jewelry store and buy something off the shelf. You will vastly overpay and get a poor quality stone in a preset setting that someone else picked out. Simplest way to say it: A jewelry store ring will appraise for what they sell it to you for. Our ring from DND independently appraised for far more than I paid.

Proposing to your loved one is a very intimate and personal experience that can be easily overwhelming for a guy like me who doesnt know his way around jewelry, ring designs, fashion trends, and how to differentiate between two similar looking shiny gems. Its a big purchase that means a lot for a variety of reasons, and nobody wants to mess it up! I thank my lucky stars that I had Andrew and his family to help me! Jeweler for life! From the get go, Andrew was 100% attentive, patient and listened to everything I had to say. He then gave me insights into the diamond industry, educated me on how to identify the best stone and provided advice that was extremely helpful and put me to ease. He was honest, straightforward and completely transparent- which I found very rare and refreshing. Despite giving him my budget upfront, I ended up spending a lot less than I wanted to and still walked away with the perfect ring! We finalized the ring design and diamond selection over three days. Andrew was completely involved throughout and also did a ton of research and made several calls within his network to find me the best diamond and deal. I didnt recognize how valuable it is to have someone who is GIA certified advising you till I saw Andrew in action. He patiently looked at hundreds of ring designs with me and created the most beautiful ring ever- trendy but also evergreen in style. Apart from the experience of buying the ring and knowing that my money was wisely spent, Andrew helped me create the best surprise proposal plan! We saw several videos together and he kept sending me suggestions and ideas and even let me practice on him! Couldnt thank you enough man! I also called him at 4am the day of the proposal because I freaked out that the ring wouldnt fit her...because it wasnt fitting my pinky finger. He calmly said, "I promise you it will fit, and shell say yes!". Well it did, and she said yes! I highly recommend everyone looking to buy a ring, to go in and at least meet Andrew and his family before taking any decisions! You will not regret it!

Id like to take a moment to reflect on my positive experience with DnD Jewelers that occurred about a month ago. I brought my Tag Heuer Carrera Automatic to this little charming shop off Route 3 in Fredericksburg, VA and was immediately greeted by the founders son. Right off the bat, he was very enthusiastic in assisting me with my needs and was a passionate timepiece person, himself. I bought my Tag about 5 years ago and approached DnD to get a little more information on service options. I built incredible rapport and trust with Nader that I decided to drop my watch off on the spot. Nader was very committed to keeping me looped on my service / repair status and was quite accurate with his repair time range. When I picked up the watch about 10 days later, I could not believe it was my own watch. The Tag Heuer Authorized Repair Center did such a phenomenal job with polishing / rehauling the timepiece, it looked as if I pulled it out of the box for the first time 5 years ago. The chronograph was also replaced and my time was just as accurate, if not more accurate, from when I originally purchased it. I walked out the store feeling great. My timepiece was serviced well, I had a great experience with a well-established business as DnD Jewelers, but I had NO idea that it would get the attention in the weeks that led to this write up. I was attending a Leadership Conference and received so many compliments on my timepiece from my peers! I want to thank Nader and the rest of the DnD staff for taking the time, diligence and care they put into my request and I will definitely be returning to DnD for my future jewelry purchases.

I cant express how grateful and blessed I am to have found DND Jewelers. My wife and I welcomed triplets into our family and I wanted to give my wife a truly exceptional gift. I shopped around for months and visited six different "reputable" jewelry shops before coming to DND. Andrew told me that they could custom make me a piece that would be unique, whose quality would blow away the competition and would be in my budget. I really didnt know what to think, but I placed a deposit and decided to give them the chance. Here we are a few weeks later and I just picked up the piece and I was at a loss for words. Not only was it perfect in every way, but the quality of the craftsmanship and the diamonds he chose made every big name jewelry store seem like I was shopping around at third world flea-markets. I was expecting a decent piece based on the referrals I had received from previous customers, but what I got was a New York City Tiffanys quality piece from a local family owned small business right here in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Please, if youre considering any piece of jewelry, whether it be a classical or a custom piece, stop by DND first and check out what they are capable of creating. You wont be disappointed, and you may find yourself a customer for life just like myself.
