You cant get better jewelry or any better taken care of than you will at Fredericksburg (or Richmond) Jewelers. Jon and Jessica (the owners) are PHENOMENAL and they truly understand the importance of the jewelry they make, sell, have, etc. Some places just sell jewelry to sell it. It’s subpar or “ok” quality, they don’t stand behind what they sell, and it just doesn’t matter much to them. But Fredericksburg Jewelers understand that the jewelry they are making and providing are likely for life changing and lifelong events, such as proposals, marriages, anniversaries, holidays or very special occasions, etc. You may be even just purchasing something for yourself just for enjoyment. It doesn’t matter, whatever the reason, you’re going to get the best quality jewelry at the best cost from people who truly and sincerely care about you AND what they do. I purchased my engagement ring and band from here. From the moment I walked in the shop, Jon provided me with personal and professional care I always hoped for when it came to making one of the most important purchases I’ll ever make in my lifetime. He sat down with me and really just wanted to know what I had in mind, what I knew/thought my future wife wanted, and explained every aspect imaginable to me in a clear and concise way. He’s very calm and understanding and super easy to ask questions to or learn from. The knowledge of what they do is incredible. Buying a diamond can be a very daunting and stressful occurrence. What do the “K’s” mean, how do I know I’m getting a good one, what size, what will look good in the setting, what setting do I get, what does this or that mean. Unless you’re a specialist in this area, you likely don’t know much about it. I certainly didn’t. Jon and Jessica take the guess work and worry out of the whole entire thing. It was the easiest and best buying experience I’ve had. The ring and band they custom designed for me is breathtaking. I can’t even put into words how blown away my fiancé was with it and how much she cherishes that ring every single day. I could have gotten her any ring, she’s one of those who wouldn’t care what size or type it was. But as any man would for the woman they are asking to marry, you want the absolute best you can get. And that’s what Fredericksburg Jewelers helped me achieve. The best possible diamond in the best possible setting for the best price with the best service. It’s a pretty simple thing to do if you care, but sadly, there are not many places like Fredericksburg Jewelers left. PLEASE do yourself a favor and skip the places at the mall or the shady shops out there. Buy your jewelry from here because as noted, they really do sincerely care and will take care of you beyond anything I could have imagined. You will be blown away, as I was, with what you get. Could recommend this place more!

One of the most terrible experiences I have ever had with a retailer. I will not go into all the details but Jon intentionally ran my credit several times WITHOUT my permission once I informed him that I had found something else at another store. He did so out of spite in order to hurt my credit with the hopes that if I went somewhere else I would be denied . This is just one of the MANY absolutely horrible business practices Jon displayed. Honestly if everything that he done hadnt happened to me first hand I would say it was a little far fetched to believe that someone could be so bitter and nasty but I can only share my experience with the hopes that others may read this and form their own opinions. This experience has truly taught me that no matter how nice and genuine someone may seem on the outside at first, money really does bring out the nastiest qualities in people sometimes!

Hands down Best jeweler in Fredericksburg!! Deserves 6 stars! The price is right for any budget, the service is tops, and the owner is extremely easy to work with, and will take the time to make sure you get exactly what you came in for. Pays TOP DOLLAR for trade-ins as well!! After spending weeks shopping around, I thankfully found this place. I bought an engagement ring from here and had a fairly strict budget and a good idea of what I wanted. The owner and his wife took hours to work with me and come up with a custom design that made everybody happy! Will definitely be a returning customer. Would recommend to anyone whether youre spending $100 or $100,000 this is the place to go!

Jon is the greatest! He is a talented and honest business person, and we trust him with our investment. He created a stunning piece for my engagement ring, and we will be completing our wedding set with him as well. He made our unique needs a reality for a fair price. Anything we need, Jon is quick to provide help. He is a refreshingly warm-hearted professional in the sometimes "stuffy" businesses of Fredericksburgs Old Historic District. He was the ONLY jeweler in town who would take on my custom challenge! (Hello Nugget!)

They made what seemed like a daunting task of making my engagement ring simplified it with ease and now my fiancé has something that people swoon over. Well I will have to agree with Karma Jones on this one. Although I will not go into details either, I left this store extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with the way I was treated. Be very careful shopping at this location. They might pretend like they care about your satisfaction with their product, but unfortunately they do not, especially once they have your money.

I went in today to have some links taken out of a watch I had gotten for Christmas. This jeweler was very efficient and did a great job. He also showed me some new rings for a possible upgrade to my current wedding ring (at my request). His knowledge of the products is superb and I will definitely recommend this store to anyone I know looking for jewelry.

Fredericksburg Jeweler has a great selection of rings as well as other types of jewelry. I was very pleased with the simple piece I bought from them but have also seen some of the custom rings they have made for my friends and their work is incredible!
