I recently bought a 2003 Ferrari Modena Spyder from FC Auto in Falls Church, Va. I have owned many great Italian cars, and I can be a demanding customer. Walter and Kian put up with my endless questions and demands as true gentlemen. I understand that any 13 year old car with nearly 30,000 miles will have some issues, but this car is truly as they described it in their online ad. They were happy to bring the car to the Washington DC Ferrari dealer for an inspection. The issues that were found were consistent with the mileage, and were not critical or “deal breakers” in any way. The car had some minor damage to a rocker panel, and they agreed to have it professionally repaired before I came for my test drive and purchase. I think my test drive was an experience for Walter, as he encouraged me to drive the car any way I wanted, for as long as I wanted. I drove it hard and fast, on back roads and highways. There was no smoke, no rattles, no clutch slippage, no unusual noises, no drips, the steering was tight, and the car stopped well and straight. They described the car as “pristine,” and it truly is. If anything, it is more beautiful than described. Although the weather has not been cooperative, I’ve had a couple of good days to run the car hard. It performs beautifully, with no mechanical issues whatsoever. Before making the purchase, I had looked at virtually every online site for 360’s of the same age with similar mileage. I think their price was more than fair, and probably even below the average market value as far as I could determine. Additionally, Walter and Kian really did everything they could to expedite the paperwork and make the transaction as pleasant and fast as possible. I unhesitatingly recommend FC Auto. I’m so pleased with the car and with their professionalism that I plan to ask them to help me sell a perfect Alfa Romeo for me. I know that they look for good cars, fairly priced. RF Baltimore, MD

After posting the review below I was surprised to receive a call from Guillermo of FC Auto. He was clearly just as upset over the experience we had with them as my wife and I were. We spoke for a little bit and came to a resolution that I am satisfied with. I will do more business with them in the future. ____________________________________________________________________ Sold us a vehicle before they received the title for it. After several calls to try and find out what was going on with the tags, my wife finally had to go to the dealership to get another set of temporary tags since the first had expired. From dealing with Fernando on repairs for the vehicle I bought, I learned that he was famous for not returning calls.Spent $1400 in total repairs on the vehicle less than a month after I purchased it. Im not upset about that, was to be expected with a vehicle that old. He dodged the warranty, which was to be expected but then offered to fix it for us at a cheaper price. So the truck was currently inoperable and sitting at a shop waiting for repairs, when he said it would probably be cheaper to tow it 10-15 miles back to his shop to get the work done there. He first told me his shop was very busy and that I would have to wait until the end of the week stating that he would give me a call back on the price. After the first set of repairs were done on the vehicle at my mechanics shop, since he never called me back ($600) the mechanic noticed more work to be done ($800) so I called Fernando back. He made comments about me not getting the work done with him and dodged the warranty yet again. So $1400 additional dollars later I am happy with my truck, but unhappy with how Fernando and FC Auto handled the situation. Tried my best to remain polite and courteous with them, but I feel they were unprofessional.

I had the worst customer service experience of my life when I purchased a car from FC Auto. I never before been so insulted and treated so rudely as I was by their salesman and manager Keon. They sold me a car without a lugnut key, so when I had a flat tire, I was stranded on the interstate for hours because I couldnt change my tire. Neither the state highway patrolman nor the VDOT professional could help because the lugnut key is specific to the car. I had to pay for a tow to the nearest Subaru Dealership and spend the night in a hotel, missing work the next day and incurring costs of over $600.00 to have the tire replaced and the lugnuts changed, not to mention the cost of my lost hours of work, the hotel, and the tow. I promptly brought the receipts to FC AUTO the day I returned to ask if they would help remedy the situation. Keon, the manager shouted in my face called me crazy and referred to me as a b**** as I walked out. This was my first car buying experience. I will no longer trust used car salesmen. How sad that they can get away with treating customers this way. How sad that a grown man and businessman acts so rudely and childish. After seeking mediation, I, the buyer, and FC Auto came to an agreement, and FC Auto agreed to contribute to the costs of repairing the vehicle. The issue was solved in a satisfactory manner.

UPDATE: The car I bought not even two weeks ago failed MD inspection with tires that wouldnt even pass VA inspection (and they sold this to me with my two small children present). Not only did I have to buy 4 new tires, I have to replace the power steering pump and right front wheel bearing to pass the inspection. On top of all of that, the AC stopped working a week after I took it off the lot (again with 2 children under 6) and it is over a $1000 repair. I will fight to have them taken off USAA certified dealers because them selling a car with tires that wouldnt pass inspection is criminal. I deserve my $400 back for those tires. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! OLD post: I am finishing up buying a 2006 honda civic from FC auto and I couldnt wait to write a great review. The gentlemen here are so helpful, thorough and they actually care. I know I am getting a dependable car and I would work with them a thousand times over. Not only am I extremely happy with the business weve done, they have been so kind to my 2 small children during the process. We have been here for 2 hours and my girls just adore them already. Thank you FC auto! I will be back and recommend everyone to go buy or sell your car here!

I have nothing but positive feedback from our experience with FC Auto when we purchased a Volvo XC90 back in June. Both Chip and Guillermo were very helpful and professional throughout the process, and not only delivered everything that they promised, but even went above and beyond when we asked for a few accessory and small items to be addressed to complete the sale. It is rare to find an auto dealer that can be replied upon to be 100% and deliver everything that was requested, but especially after the vehicle had already been purchased and it required a few follow up items we discussed having addressed prior to the sale, but in the weeks after our purchase. This is the true sign of a professionally run business that realizes the long term value of delivering good customer service and doing so an ethical manner. Last but definitely not least, we love our new (used) XC90 as it had only one prior owner, clean history (which was provided in the Carfax without request), and is perfect for our growing family! We would definitely recommend FC Auto to anyone who is looking for a good used car and wants to work with an honest and reliable team!
