Back about 4 years ago I purchased a beautiful small white gold chevron diamond ring. Round diamonds on one side. Baguettes on the other side. The price was great so I got it with my husbands insistance. He wanted me to have that final gift. A few weeks later I noticed one of the baguettes missing. I ran to my jeweler who replaced the diamond. A week or so it happened again with another baguette, again I had it replaced at my jewelers. He said it would keep happening and suggested I just have it filled in with white gold, which cost me a lot of additional money. I was devestated because the baguettes really sparkled and showed the ring off beautifully. But, to my disappointment I had my jeweler fill it in. I never worn the ring again. Had I had a brain, I would have taken it back to Mr. Craddock who would have taken care of it and I guarantee I would still have my baguettes in that ring today. My husband loved that ring the.moment her saw it and wanted me to have it. He gave it to me with every ounce of love anyone could have in their heart. He was hurt that it wasnt the same ring he once fell in love with that he wanted for me. Id look at it once in a while but never wore it. My wonderful husband passed away last February and I have now started to wear that ring in remberance of his love for me. It hurts knowing it is different than the one wanted me to have, but nontheless, Im wearing it again. Greenbrier Pawn has excellent quality jewelry, but sometimes things beyond anyones control just happens. Please, anyone who takes the time to read this story, remember...if something happens to a piece you buy from Greenbrier Pawn TAKE IT BACK. They will fix it to its original condition. Dont be stupid like I was. I just didnt think about doing it, which Ill carry this mistake with me and shed a tear everyday when I look at it. Greenbrier Pawn is awesome but unfortunately, by not using my head, I lost out. Dont let this happen to you. Wanda Sears

ok know i am a young african american male (20). I went into this pawn shop because my mom needed extra money for a unexpected emergency so I gave her my custom Rolex to take here because they specialize in Jewelry. My mom went in with the watch in her pocket and when she got inside showed it to them. they told her it was a fake which I knew better becuase i had just had it custom made. It was a DateJust with custom bezel and dial with diamonds which had they just looked at the diamonds would have said hum maybe this is a real Rolex. Needless to say they dont give some customers the time of day and I definitely wont be returning here. We left went to Direct diamond in Norfolk to have appraised and everything was in fact real watch as well as diamonds. and 2 other pawn shops also tested the diamonds and looked up serial number. i dont know if it was because my watch is custom (DateJust dont usually come with diamonds) but they need to do a better job before telling somebody there stuff is FAKE

My husband and I have been dealing with Greenbrier Pawn for many years. We always find the most exquisite jewelry for the best prices. I even purchased a beautiful Rolex watch for my husbands 60 Birthday. Every piece we have purchased has be very different from anything weve ever seen. Prices are unbelievable and reasonably priced. Also the wonderful jeweler, Henry, is beyond doubt the most wonderful person and craftsman Ive ever dealt with. He checks carefully each piece weve purchased and gives us his personal and professional advice. Ive also purchased some stunning pieces he has designed. The staff is so helpful and a joy to work with. Tyler you rock. If you have ever felt that going to a pawn shop, take the time to check Greenbrier out. You wont be disappointed. I love this place. While on vacation we saw a few of the commercials on TV so decided to stop in during one of our outings. We were pleasantly surprised. This was not your typical "Pawn" shop but a fantastic jewelry store that also happened to be a Pawn shop. The selection was amazing and I found several items I wanted but had to settle on my favorite piece. Our sales lady was Robin and she was very courteous and knowledgeable and made the whole experience a joy. She even rushed the sizing so that it would be ready before we left town. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop by to see what new items they have in stock. Everyone we came into contact with was nice and made us feel welcome. I will definitely refer all my friends in the area and even those that might someday visit to make sure they stop by Greenbrier Pawn. Thank you Robin and Greenbrier Pawn Shop.

I went to Greenbrier Pawn to buy earrings for my wife. I previously shopped around, in local Virginia Beach jewelry stores, but entered sticker shock. I walked into Greenbrier Pawn, was greeted nicely, but never put under any pressure. They were just nice. The young lady never talked about jewelry. She just talked about Valentine’s day, what our plans were, and so on. Turns out she is Jeffs daughter Nina and is the manager. When I finally told her I wanted earrings she didnt have what I wanted in the case. They had all been sold. She went over to her desk and in a couple minutes came back with the matching diamonds and said their (in house) Jeweler would set them while I waited. Best part!!! I paid less than half of the price I’d seen in other places for the same high quality. Nina is the best, my Wife is thrilled, and I will only shop with Nina from now on. Sincerely, Mike

My wife and i had the best experience here - we got to see the jewelers on site work professionally and we purchased a very nice ring for my wife to replace the Kay Jewelry ring (that im convinced they switched the stone when i had it re-sized for her - its completely junk and an independent jeweler told us that the stone should never have been sold as it had a large inclusion of coal inside of it) - so we will never go back to a new jewelry store and now, when we buy diamond or emerald jewelry, we will go back to greenbrian pawn - they are great to work with, very professional and very nice place (not like a typical pawn shop - they are first class) - i do not know them personally so i write this as a first time buyer with no bias to make such a good referral for them. Greenbrier Pawn is fantastic. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they were quick to help me. I have been back several times. Definitely the place to go if you are looking to pawn or sell anything and are in the Greenbrier Chesapeake Area. Amanda is AMAZING, she will try to work out the best deal possible and tries to be as accommodating as possible. What other pawn shop can you say this about? I live in Virginia Beach and drive to Chesapeake to only deal with Amanda! Henry, their jeweler does awesome work, he recently resized a ring for me and I couldnt even tell that it was touched. If this is your first time going to a pawn shop or if you are afraid of dealing with shady people, I would 100% recommend this place. They are honest, friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. The best Pawn store experience ever. Thanks guys!
