Ive been dealing with this store since 1999, when we bought our first new Mustang. It was Larry Bird then, later, John Walton bought out Larry and put his name on the building, but the excellent service and attention to customer detail didnt diminish. Finally, when it looked like the end for a Ford store in Martinsville, Ray Skillman steps up and made the store what it is today, and what it was when it opened over 25 years ago. Great service, the best parts department around, thats why many shops in Bloomington and surrounding areas buy parts from this dealership and not the ones in Bloomington and Bedford! If they dont have a part in stock, its there the next day, or even that afternoon, as they have runners going to all the Ford stores in Indy!! Their prices are competitive, always less than the Bloomington store. Thier sales department? Top notch. One thing that has not changed since their opening is Hoosier Fords #1 sales person, Kenny Beaver. Kenny will do whatever is possible to make you experience the best it can be. You dont become the #1 sales person for 26 years in a row if youre not doing something right, and Kenny does it right 100% of the time. Hell take you through the entire process if you special order, like we have done, or get you the best deal on a vehicle in stock. Their financing department is the best as well. They got me a rate that was better than my credit union or any local bank. Do yourself a favor. Shop the others, but make your last stop here. Youll come back like I have for 15+ years.

I had a very good experience with Ray Skillman while working with Alex Buker there. I had some pretty specific requirements for a truck, and they worked to find a truck to meet those needs and get it in from another dealer. At first there wasnt anything within 400miles, but they kept digging and found a truck that met my needs with the options I wanted. The deal went smooth, and I traded in a company van to get financed on the truck. When the truck took a little longer to get done at Ziebarts, they actually delivered it to me at work once it was finished and back at the dealer. Since then, they have helped me and talked with me regarding various aftermarket parts, options, work, etc. I have to say, I didnt just get a truck and a dealership, but I got a friend with Alex. Hes always interested in what Im doing with my truck, how its working out, etc. Ive done quite a few modifications, so the dealership is very interested in the experience since the platform is new for the f150. Its been good, and I intend to continue business with them, including a future install of a brake controller for a trailer, my first service, and whatever else comes along.

Updated: When purchasing my truck I asked two specific questions. 1. Can I put navigation in later? I was told yes. That was a lie. With the way the new ford f150s are put together, it is considered impossible to put in navigation. 2. Will 10 speed transmissions come to the 2018 F150s? I was told No, they were exclusive to the Rapter. That was also a lie. Alex lied to me twice to get a sale. He got it, but Ill never buy from them again. In fact, this will be my last F150 for a while. My current F150 is my 5th in 10 years, after this experience Ill be switching to a different brand. Orginal review - I drove by the dealership and a truck caught my eye. I went in just to take a look with zero intention to buy. Alex Buker, their expert on trucks, came out and asked if Id like to take it for a drive. After the drive, we went in and started dealing. After coming to terms on a trade in, I decided to buy. Overall, the experience was great.

I have been taking my car in for a few years now for routine oil changes and always have an excellent experience. Professional oil changes that are quick! This past visit I asked the guys if they could either not move my automatic seat when they drive it or put it back because I have been having issues with it not moving forward and only moving backward, which is a huge issue for a short girl with a tall husband. They were very nice to me about this issue and even squeezed into my car and didnt move the chair so I didnt have to mess with it for ever to get it back to where I needed it. Thank you guys! See you in another 3 months!

We received a great deal on our vechical. Alex Burker answered most of our questions and was knowledgable. He listened to what we were looking for and found our vechical. It was a busy time when we were there, we had to wait an extra amount of time and were beginning to get hungry. Alex took time to run out and bring back a pizza. That was very much appreciated! One negative point was we were ignored when requesting our keys back to our vechical. This caused frustation and left us considering looking else where next time.

On August 23rd, Hoosier Ford was the third stop on the Johnson County Sheriff Benefit Motorcycle Ride. Unfortunately it was my last stop as I had an A-Fib episode. The Staff at Hoosier Ford went above and beyond in their efforts to make me comfortable, cool, and hydrated while I waited for my wife to pick me up. They even allowed me to put my motorcycle in the showroom until I could pick it up the following Monday. A big THANKS to the staff at Hoosier Ford. You guys, and gals, are awesome.

When I went into Ray Skillman Ford I was helped immediately, and met with salesman Alex Buker. Alex was very friendly, informative, and honest with me which is something I appreciate when buying from a dealership. He wasnt trying to put me into a vehicle that worked for them, rather he worked with me a car that was affordable for me. No pressure, no hassle, no brainer! I will definitely be buying my next vehicle from Alex Buker at Ray Skillman Ford.

Took my F-150 in for an appointment for an Oil change and a few other problems and they took it in right then. Did the work to my complete satisfaction and I was out of there in about an hour.----- On the way home a new problem popped up and I turned around and came back at which time they took it in found the problem very quickly and fixed it. Which explained some unusual behavior that it had been doing but hard to explain. Thank You

Amazing service!! Battery died on 2016 Ford Escape was unable to locate battery, called MHF and requested to speak with a service member. Keith answered and I informed him of what was happening, he was kind enough to give me his personal number and face timed me and walked me through the whole process. This is above and beyond customer service and I am greatly appreciative of Keith and his patience. Thank you!

The post by Pete H is complete lies. He must work for another dealership that is trying to steal customers because they suck. I worked with Chris and Bob for over a week trying to find the right car for me. No one ever tried to push a vehicle on me and they definitely are not going to just add random charges into your paper work. I would highly recommend going to Ray Skillman Hoosier Ford.
