Car One sold us a 2010 Subaru Forester with a clean title and clean carfax report. The salesman referenced the carfax report when selling us the car and told us he had personally been driving the car back and forth from work, and that it ran really well. DONT TRUST CARFAX. Please take a licensed mechanic with you any time you purchase a vehicle. We bought the car as-is, no warranty. The first substantial trip we made, the transmission started clunking. We took it to our trusted mechanic, who told us that someone had cleaned the engine up well, but there was clear evidence the car had been completely submerged underwater. He said there was 20 years of rust in places that are not normal places for a car to rust. He also found silt under the hood. We tried to work with Car One, hoping that they were also unaware of the problem, especially since they had relied on the CarFax report. The salesman told us that even though Car One normally "tries to do the right thing," they were unwilling to work with us because my husband lost his temper over the phone (he did not curse by the way-- just used a sarcastic tone). He stated that we had been cut off. When I confronted him about the dishonesty, he said they sell cars for cheap, as-is, with no warranty, and that is the risk we took. However, we did not buy the car for cheap. We bought the car for $8,500, which is above the blue book value of $7,972. We were willing to pay above blue book value because the CarFax report indicated the car was worth that, and because we knew that Subaru is normally a reliable car.

I saw the ad for a truck on Craigslist and started looking at their other vehicles and found one right in my price range that met all of my requirements! They helped me get financed and I was out the door in a few hours with what I was assured was a bulletproofed, low mileage truck. Now thats its been off the lot, within 6 weeks Ive got two major issues and the repairs are worth more than the trucks value. These issues would not have occurred if it had been bulletproofed as promised at the time of purchase. I knew I was taking a chance at a used lot and will never consider their vehicles again. They took advantage of me and lied and were very rude any time I tried to get more information about the truck. Update: In 8 months the truck has been in the shop more than its been on the road and I have spent $7,000 out of pocket. I got a third party Warranty through a company they forced on me and while they have covered almost $10,000 in repairs, their customer service is horrendous and not a service at all. They deny repairs they claim to cover on their policy and just transfer you around until you get a voice mail of someone that will never return your call. Car One and Cars Protection Plus have been the biggest nightmares Ive ever experienced. Almost weekly I have to make the decision whether to pay for repairs on my truck to get to work or pay rent so I have a place to park this truck at night. Ive made 5 payments on my truck while it was in the shop and the rest of my bills have incurred late fees.

I have never before wrote a negative review for anybody to see but hopefully this one will protect someone from buying a lemon here. Purchased a Utility Truck from here February 23rd 2016. I thought I was getting a good deal because they said they wanted to work with me to earn my business. Drove it and only found a few minor issues during my test drive. After I got it back to Chattanooga and tried to go through emissions I found out that the Check Engine light had been *tampered* with so that it would not come on. It did not pass emissions which has kept me from registering and getting tags on the truck. Found out that the truck had a total of 25 codes between the OBD II & Ford Computer when I dropped it off at the repair shop. I have dropped 3,400 dollars into the truck after its purchase and it still did not pass emissions. It is back to the Automotive shop on Monday. Word of advice when purchasing a car from Car One or anywhere else. Have them run it through emissions for you or take it while your on the test drive. Learning my lesson the hard way. Will not be returning or recommending any business to Car One.

Overall a good experience. I seen the car that I was interested in and came into the dealership to test drive the vehicle. Mr. Josh greeted me and gave me the keys to test drive the car. After the initial test drive and inspection I noticed that the car required a brake job and some minor suspension work. Mr. Josh informed me he would have it looked at. A week later I got a call stating the brakes had been replaced and a strut on the back. Test drove again and everything for the most part was ok (needed some suspension bushings but that is already getting fixed for $100.00) Price was fair. About average with the local market but the dealership did have about $600.00 of services done on it. Got the extended warranty (3 years/36K miles) bumper-to-bumper cheaper at the dealership than the 5 other companies I got quotes from. I had my financing before coming to the dealership but Ms. Heather was very nice and was able to make the process fast and easy. Overall a good experience. Small dealership that keeps things simple and fair.

Please do not purchase a car here. Not only are the cars questionable, the customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. Heather was rude, condescending, and unhelpful. The owner (who gives the business 5 star reviews on social media and Google) was present in the office when we requested to speak to him, but did not speak with us until we were already leaving. He told us to leave as we were walking out the door. We were asked to come in to discuss potentially returning the car (& we were asked to bring the car in even though it is barely drivable at this time -- overheating and antifeeeze boiling) but that was a disingenuous invitation. Please do not patronize this business. Financing may be easy and they may appear nice, but that is the nature of their business. Once the car is off the lot, the tone changes. And never trust a business that deletes its negative reviews on social media while having owners and employees post positive reviews...

No stars is more like it! Bought a truck with the extended warranty and a week after the truck was bought the transfer case went out along with the front differential. Guess what?!! The extended warranty didnt cover the WATER IN BOTH PARTS!!!!!! My truck had been sunk in water at some point in its life!!!!! Spray painted undercarriage to cover up the rust on the frame! I wish I could post pictures! Just to prove what crap I put up with this dealership. They are seriously crooks!!!

I recently purchased a F-250 David was the salesman & I must say that they beat the price of any other F-250 truck that I have looked at. David was very informative & answered every question that I had. David delivers an incredible service & gives a very pleasant experience. I will definitely recommend Car One to family & friends.
