My husband and I both made the mistake of having our screens replaced here. He first, mine a few weeks later when the home button went out. In case you didnt catch that, I took my iPhone in for repair because my home button had stopped working altogether, so I bought a replacement screen from iPhixit. They made the repair within a few hours and I had my phone back same day (the only good part). Upon return, the home button worked, however my antenna was now very very weak unable to pick up wifi unless I am in the same room as my router! I called in within a week to let them know my new problem and was told they "didnt do anything" to my antenna. Obviously false! Or it is one unbelievable coincidence! I told the employee I was unhappy I had paid $149 for a new screen for them to ruin my antenna. His only solution was I could have a partial refund of $50 IF I wanted him to put a cracked screen back on my phone. Remember I didnt go in for a cracked screen to begin with. I told him absolutely NOT! I took my 1/2 baked phone and left. Fast forward 18 months and my antenna still doesnt work in most my own house - I am not living in the Tajma Hall. I am sitting on my couch, with my phone on the arm rest and the screen cracks spontaneously from the mic to the bottom corner. I hadnt dropped it, it was in a thick protective case that wouldnt have allowed the screen to come in contact with the floor had I Ever dropped it...the screen just cracked with NO pressure on it at all. Seems the over priced replacement was a real POS. My husbands replacement screen installed about 3 weeks earlier than mine, has since cracked spontaneously as well. For those of us that spend the money to buy an Apple product, we expect quality. If only I had known, I could have replaced my entire device for $199 through the Apple store at the time. Stupid me for trying to save $50. In the future, I will take my device back to Apple for a replacement or upgrade. These little "repair" shops are nothing more than scammers selling total POS parts and charging a hefty price to bust your device further.

My phone needed a new display. I brought it here. I was told it would be done in an hour. I arrived to pick it up and was then told that they had accidentally broken the back of my phone and had to order a new piece. Accidents happen. I understand this. OK, no problem. I was told that it would be ready the following day. I called before arriving to pick it up and was told it was ready. I arrived, and they told me that the wrong part had come in, but they installed it anyway, in case I ineeded the phone, until the correct part arrived. I didnt need it and left it with them to correct at their leisure. When I was able to pick it up, everything looked good. I had a display again! Yay! When I get home and started the lengthy process of setting it back up, I realized that the stylus that came with it, wasnt working. Took the phone back in and they ordered a new part, repaired it and I picked it back up. Got it home and again proceeded to set it up. After a little bit, I realized that the speaker didnt work, so no ringtones or audible notifications. Returned it again, they ordered another part. I picked it back up, but this time, the phone was very dirty and some of the glue that is used to hold it together, had been smeared on the back (the same brand new part they replaced just a week earlier). Not only was it dirty, but it had been damaged on the corner. I was wanting to say something, but after checking that everything was finally working, decided to take it home and clean it up, deal with the damaged corner, and just be done with it. There is still one little issue though, something is loose inside the phone. When I shake it, I can hear it rattling around inside. Since everything still seems to be working, Im just going to deal with it, it sucks, but Im afraid that things will get worse if I return it.

The gentleman at iphixit was great. Not only did they provide excellent customer service, they also fixed my iphone 5 screen and charge port in under an hour. They are very honest reputable company and team. When I came to pick up my phone they did not even charge me to fix the charge port. They had to reset some internal settings and clean it out. They could have just lied and charged me and I would have never known while still paying the original quoted price. You know you have a great company when your quote goes down and yet they still fix one of the issues you were having. They replaced my screen for only 79.00 and did all the other work for no cost. Also all my original settings were still on the phone. I am more than satisfied with there workmanship, honesty and customer service. I will always continue to bring any phone problems to there company. I normally have to be very impressed to write a review or really upset in this case I am more than pleased. They will continue to get my future business just off this one service. I highly recommend you give them a try. I promise from my experience that you will be satisfied. They also called me the moment the phone was completed, they did not drag there feet in any part of the process. The complete repair only took them an hour and a half. Now I am up and running and not stressing out about missing important phone calls. Thanks again guys you are great! Keep up the good work!

I am fairly handy but after weighing the risk of breaking my lcd screen by fixing my digitizer myself or paying 100 bucks to have a "professional" fix it i chose to pay someone else. After being in a similar situation as Rebecca I regret the decision. I had them fix galaxy s5 with a broken digitizer ( I left it on my truck and drove off) after 100 bucks and 2 hrs they had completed the repair......The only issue was that when I received my phone there was still glue around the edges and it didnt even turn on. After another hour of repair my screen turned on at least, except now there was a noticeable border around my whole screen where you can tell where the digitizer didnt actually adhere to the lcd screen. No more than 2 months later my screen cracked because I lightly brushed against a table with my phone in my front pocket. Remember it took a fall off a truck to Crack the original and this one cracked from something so benign. Its like my digitizer is made of sugar glass or they never let the glue fully cure. My digitizer now has multiple cracks and is even missing pieces after less than 3 months of being on my phone and Ive never dropped it and have always had a phone case on it Id suggest going elsewhere even if it costs more because the work these guys did on my phone was far from professional quality.

DO NOT USE iPhixit. They said the charge would be $80 ended up $122. Came for my “scheduled” appointment and the receptionist was on the phone for 8 minutes while I sat and waited for her. Parker was just around the corner but didn’t bother to come help. Then, when she finally got off she didn’t even address me for another couple of minutes. They were supposed to mail my phone out on Saturday, didn’t until Monday – didn’t both to notify me at all. I had to call on Monday asking where the phone was. Finally received the phone on Tuesday (should have been Saturday) with the two bottom screws missing (iPhone 4) and with a subpar screen. No way it’s the same quality that was originally on the phone. I sent Parker an email explaining the concerns. Got a canned response back. Now on Thursday, still haven’t heard a thing back. I wish I would have known that Apple would replace my phone for $199 – even if you are out of warranty – and you will get a MUCH better experience, better quality, and a refurbished phone under warranty by Apple.
