I looked up the hours it says closes at 8pm today. We get there at 6:47 pm the employee follows me around and stands 1 foot away from me the entire time. I went to grab knee pads in the lower level. And when I met with my boyfriend who was on the 3rd level he continued to only follow me. As I was walking to the cashier I was going to buy gloves but he was so inappropriately close to me I just bought knee pads and left. He lost on a larger sale and my boyfriend even thought the employee was inappropriately standing too close and thought it was odd he was only following me. Im half Hispanic half Native American. My boyfriend is white. This is will be the last time I step foot in this location. If they need to update the hours to state they close at 7pm than I understand. But to follow just me and stand 1 foot away from instead of my boyfriend? He never asked if I needed help. He just stood that close. Horrible service. Never going back again.

Bought some ski pants. Fell apart after a day of skiing. Had to go to the Murray store to get the same pants in the size I needed. Again, a day of skiing they fell apart. They tried I make me do in store credit in which I explained I didnt buy them with in store credit, I want my money back. So they decided to give it back and put it on my debit card. They forgot to mention that it would take a week for the funds to show up. Really irritated. So I ended up with no pants and no money. It didnt take a week for them to take the money from my card. Very unprofessional customer service. Will not be shopping there.

I would have given this place a lower rating for not having ramps or elevators inside to access the top floor. I went to this place with a handicapped friend who couldnt go up the stairs but the lady manager there made it so that didnt matter. She came right up to us and asked us for help and when she said what we needed was up the stairs she immediately offered to run up there and grab a variety for us. She must have gone back and forth like 5 times or more. If you cant go up and down the stairs that girl has got your back! Great customer service!

The customer service is great at this location. The employees are courteous and helpful. Their pricing and return policy are also great. I bought some soccer cleats here and realized they were too small after I played a game in them. The manager let me have a full refund for them. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is that their selection is fairly small.

The manager was great. Even though there were many issues with my item, James took care of it. If there is any decision makers at Big 5 Sporting Goods reading this; for the love of the Gods... Get a second telephone line! Ive called your store in Orem at least 15 different times throughout the morning, and all I get is a busy signal.

Terrible customer service. Two managers and two employees were too busy playing ping pong to assist customers. I addressed the manager about how I was disappointed with the situation and he said "Im sorry you feel this way." WOW!

This location always has great deals on clearance shoes and sports apparel. Although its a lot bigger then other big 5s so you might have to ask for assistance if you need it. The staff is super friendly, and there to help
