I was shopping around all over town at the regular gun stores (local gun shops, cabelas, Scheels, C-A-L Ranch...), trying to find a Ruger 10/22 Takedown, these guys were the only ones who had one in stock, and they seemed to be the only ones getting regular shipments, since nobody else could tell me when they might receive more. I dont know if that means that they carry a better selection than other stores, or if it just means that theyre a little off the beaten path of where people normally look for guns, so their stock doesnt go as fast. Either way, I got my gun for a fair price, and thatll be the first place I look for my next gun.

This store is great! The customer service is better than any other sporting goods stores I have visited. I have purchased several knifes from this store. They have great quality knifes at incredible prices. I recently went in to purchase a new knife after the tip broke off a knife I had purchased there a month or two ago. I figured that I would need to contact the manufacture and see if they would replace it, however, I wanted to buy another of the same knife to have while I waited. To my surprise the manager replaced it with one he had in stock with out me even asking to do so. I was very impressed. I would highly recommend Big 5!

Best service ever! We were looking for a trampoline but they were all sold out. Blaze called many stores near by to find one in stock and then gave us a sale price that had ended. He was very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to ensure we got a trampoline for our kids that were begging for one! Ill definitely use this this store for all of my sporting good needs! I dont know why I keep going to this store! Although the selection is decent, the employees are terrible. Just terrible. I needed to get soccer shoes for my 4 year old. I get it, theres not many sizes for her, but a little customer service goes a long way. Everyone who works there seems to just hate being there. Probably wont shop there again anytime soon.

We went in for some snorkel gear, and found what we needed. There were 3 qualities to choose from. They also went in the back to pull out their life jackets as they were not out this time of year, so we could purchase one. The staff was helpful.

It seems to be staffed with anyone who has a pulse, but their prices are good and their selection is much wider than you would expect. If youre needing anything sporty try here before looking for a specialized shop, prices are fair.

Good selection of swim suits with good ones always on sale. I teach swim lessons during the summer, so those things are a huge plus for me. In the past 3 years, it has been my go to place for cheaper, good quality suits.

Big 5 Sporting Goods accounts for about 80% of the shoes my kids wore ages 6 to 18. While Im a huge fan of Big 5, I dont go out of my way to come to this location. The one in Orem has a much bigger selection.
