I bought a car from CarHop. Service was great until the papers were signed then went downhill. I would return to them for another car. They claim that their cars are backed by an Auto Check Vehicle History Report but this is not true when you ask for it you will get the summary only nothing that provides any of the history for the vehicle. Within days of buying the car I heard a noise. I got told to take it to one of their shops (we’ll discuss this in a bit) to have it looked at I took it to Big O Tires in Murray and I was told that the car should not have even passed State required safety inspection. I am still having issues with the transmission which is covered under the warranty but the catch to that is you have to get one of their mechanics to say there is something wrong with it. You cannot use any mechanic only the ones that they have chosen which leads me to think that they are making the mechanics agree to not say when things are wrong. When you try to resolve the issue you go in circles I was on the phone with them till my battery on my phone died trying to get a resolution but still nothing. I was told on the 11th of July that they would have the district manager call me it is now the 17th of July and I still have not received a phone call from her. I still have the car that I bought from them because if I turn it back to then it will ruin my credit and the reason that I chose carhop is that they were supposed to help me build the credit with credit reporting. I don’t know yet if the monthly credit reporting they claim raises the cost of their cars is true or not we will see stay tuned for updates about that as they should make their first report here in the next week. IN MY OPINION YOU SHOULD SEEK ANOTHER DEALER FOR YOUR CAR. This post had to be edited because they ask you to review them while you are in the store before you have a chance to discover the truth about them. While yes this place gives you a second chance when no one else will. I have to say this has been a Horrible experience. I knew going in that the check engine light was on for the car I purchased, but the sales rep told me that it would most likely turn itself off once I drove it around for a while. Granted, they promised me that theyd fix any problems with the car because that light was on. Well, here it is almost 4 weeks after I purchased the car, and in total Ive driven the car for a week. They are taking money out of my account for the car payment, but still no car. The ignition switch actually broke on the car after I had it for a week, and I couldnt get the car turned off. Luckily I had help from my brother in law who is a mechanic to get it turned off. It took over a week for the mechanic to get the replacement ignition switch, and I finally got the car back, and they told me that oddly enough they had another car from CarHop in there. Apparently, THAT car, the breaks went out and the lady CRASHED into another car (absolutely CRAZY!). So, then I had my car back for less than a full day and the car started to overheat and smoke started billowing out of the car. Seriously? So, again it will take another week if not more for the mechanic to fix the car I JUST purchased. I purchased a car based on the reviews on this site, and now I regret it... Do yourself a favor, before you buy from this place make sure you have a mechanic take a look at the car. Also, if there is a check engine light on the car run away... they never look these cars over before they sell them. If they did, I would never have been able to get this car.. it would most likely be in the junk yard...

Got a bright idea one morning to go down to car hop to see if I could get a proved. I was greeted by John who is the most down to earth guy I have ever meet. Not only did u walk out with a car I made a friend. Well if not for bad luck I would not have luck not ever 24 hurs after getting my self a nice car i am in a car wreck by some driver that is not paying attention. And my nice new car is totalled out . I call John crying he tell me not to worry just as long as everyone is OK . we are fine but my car is not now Im stressed how am I going to get to work and pay for a car I dont have??? 3 weeks go buy playing the insurance company game and they dont want to pay the full loan bug the wreck was not my fault??? Now what I go back to car hop and the district manager is there I speak with him he tells not to worry they will take care of me. I think ya right!!! On 4/9/2016 I get a call from John telling me that they received the chk pay out for my car and to come down and pick a new one Im thinking how much of the last loan am I still going to pay ??? In the end the drop the loan and I walked out with another car thank you John u are truly good at what u do and thank u car hop .

We just got a repo three weeks ago and I started work last week and my first pay stub came this week and I got into a car! Not the best car, but because my credit sucks its something affordable and reliable! I had a low down payment and a low car payment! Selena and erick helped me and my husband and they were great! I just got the car Wednesday and it had a crack in the windshield from something falling on it in the shop and they sent a windshield company out while I was at work and they installed a new on in 30 minutes no charge to me! Car hops awesome because they give you a second chance when no one else will. We all make mistakes and when life hits you feel no hope but car hop changed that for me! With my new job and used car, Ill be able to pay this off quick and get into a better one in the future so thanks car hop!(:

Due to Medical bills my credit is shot. Ive tried over and over to get a car and been denied over and over its not only, frustrating but very embarrassing as well I went to CarHop and WOW is all I can say the service manager John sat with me for over an hour and actually listens to what I had to say regarding my credit he treated me very well some people have been very rude when they find out you cant qualify but not John he was not a pushy car salesman and genuinely tried to help me. John is amazing and I now have a car that I like and can afford.John didnt try to sell me something that was out of my price range he was very helpful and straight forward. Ive never had such a good experience purchasing a car. Thank you car hop and Thank you John.
