Summary: Awesome work Great value Fantastic customer service Stay involved and be clear about deadlines. I had a wonderful experience with Saratoga Jewelry and Jeremy in particular. My fiancé had a very specific taste (vintage styles in yellow gold, generally they are found only in white) and a uniquely shaped family heirloom diamond which may have been difficult to fit well in another setting. I went to several box stores, but none had her taste in stock and the custom fees were incredibly high– at one store I was quoted 3,300+ for the setting with a 8-10 week waiting period minimum. Enter Saratoga Jewelry. Upon walking in and first meeting Jeremy, there was immediately one huge difference; he was listening and trying to find exactly what we wanted. There was no sales pressure, no tricky financing deals, and no up-selling. He listened and worked with us. I showed him the ring that my fiancé said was her dream ring and asked if they had any like it, to which he replied "if thats her dream ring lets just build that exact one" I sent him a link with pictures and the information and they built it from scratch for literally 1/3 the price and half of the time I had been quoted at the big-box store. Overall I first met him on 3/28 and received the ring on 4/29, one month (including a 10 day hiatus the store took for spring break) after I ordered it. They also went the extra mile for me, "accidentally" sending an email with an "estimated completion date" of May 15th to myself and my fiancé so I could surprise her with it on our anniversary. Some people have mentioned slow service or sometimes a lack of communication. While I may have experienced a little of both, its important to recognize that with any small business its important to stay involved with the process and in communication with the owners. Be clear about deadlines and when you need things done so that they can plan accordingly. They were more than willing to go out of their way to finish the ring sooner when plans changed and I was proposing a week sooner than expected. Overall, I cant overstate how much I recommend Saratoga Jewelry.

I had a stone to be set. I asked for a very specific setting based on one they had in the store. They assured me that it would be in by a certain time (3 weeks later). I checked by a month later. No luck. I tried another 2 weeks later. No luck. I tried another week later. Finally They had the setting but they had not mounted it. I asked if I could come back the next day. I came back with my fiance toward the end of the day, and he set it with epoxy (read plastic glue) and handed it over after yet another several minute wait. The reason I am not rating this as a 1 star is because he gave a discount on another item a jewelry that I obtained. Also within his policy, he gave a free ring re-sizing and dipping as is expected. Fast forward 6 months, the stone popped out. I dont want the ring to be kept for another 2 months so I think i will be going elsewhere. With regard to price and quality, as I look online at various custom ring settings as in 100% custom (not ordered then set as was my case), the price is 1/10th the price of my ring (sterling silver mounted). And the online prices include the price of the stone. When I priced out the cost of this kind of ring (stone and all) the average price online was 300$, or about 1/3 of the price of my ring setting. I am willing to pay for quality, and I thought that the good reviews meant that they would commit to quality in my wifes wedding ring and some decent customer service. They have amazing quality in their customer service... thats about it. After this review has been up a few days, I got a call saying that my ring issue is within my warranty. This is another indication of high quality customer service.

I almost never write reviews but thought Id add to the list and echo the positive sentiments for this company. I wanted to surprise my wife on our anniversary by fixing her wedding ring (and possibly upgrading her center stone) that she hadnt worn in over a year. I chose Saratoga Jewelry because of the great reviews, and had planned on visiting one other store with similar reviews. After visiting SJC, there was no need to look further. Jeremy was extremely helpful, patient, informative, and provided all sorts of options for me with zero sales pressure. Its obvious he prides himself on top notch service and strives to make customers comfortable and happy with their decisions. Ended up upgrading the stone and doing some tipping/touchups in worn places for a great deal. He also helped facilitate a surprise "reveal/re-proposal" when I brought in my wife to pick it up. Will be a repeat customer for sure if the need ever arises. A++

I purchased my wifes engagement/wedding ring here over five years ago. The owner, Jeremy, was fantastic to work with and had some great ideas for my unique and custom design. The ring was finished sooner than promised and is stunning!! The metal is white gold so we have had it dipped a few times over the last five years...free of charge. If you are looking or comparing where to buy wedding a ring, DEFINITELY stop by. Highest quality at a reasonable price and Im still happy with the service five years later. They do the work right I front of you behind glass....pretty cool. I recommend Saratoga Jewelry to all my friends and family because Jeremy ALWAYS comes through. My wife also bought my wedding bad here as well, and Im going to pick my second one up today since I lost the first...oops.

After a long search for a custom jeweler I chose Jeremy at Saratoga Jewelry Company to help me redesign my engagement ring and wedding band. I had an idea in my head that Jeremy helped me refine and bring to fruition. I could not be more thrilled with the exquisite final product! I’ve always cherished the diamond my husband gave me almost 20 years ago, but now I have the setting of my dreams. I very much appreciate Jeremy’s talent and vision. I am also grateful for his integrity in keeping a commitment he made during the creation process. They were perfect! The staff is very kind and no pushy. I was very grateful I stopped here first on my list of stores. They were happy to educate and teach. They listened to all my questions, dumb or not and, gently, taught me what I needed to know to find the right ring. I ended up with exactly what I wanted and it fit beautifully to my style. And they also provided an incredible warranty. They truly take pride in their work and make you feel like one of the family. I felt extremely comfortable trusting them to customize a family heirloom ring and help me design/pick the best wedding band to go with. Id recommend them for any kind of jewelry work, custom and in-store.

I gave them 5 months and many chances to fulfill a prepaid order from A. Jaffe. The order was somehow lost in the shuffle, the mistake of an employee no longer with the company. I understand things like this happen, however, Saratogas service recovery effort did not reflect a company that values their customers. The company has outstanding reviews, many of which cite their excellent customer service, but this was not my experience. No communication, no accountability, and no wedding ring. There are plenty of jewelers in UT so I would prefer to support one that values their customers. Look elsewhere when shopping for your big day. You can do better.
