This joke of a store chargers fees that ever other fred Meyer jeweler dosnt charge, and dosnt follow mall hours. I went in to get my wifes ring and bands put together and was told it would cost $250 bucks (which the Fred meyer I got it from did it for free the next week) but couldnt tell me that tell the next day, I went in to pick it up 2 hours before the mall closed, and they were already closed. I went in the next morning when the mall opened and sat and waited for an hour for them to open that much later then any other store there. What a joke.

My wife and I got our wedding rings here 6 years ago and just went back to buy another tungsten ring for me (mine slipped off while I was fishing in the Provo river). They are charging $500 for mens tungsten bands. This is borderline fraud! You can find cobalt free tungsten carbide rings on Amazon for $30 these days. If they are willing to rip you off so badly with this product I dont see how this company can be trusted with other jewelry. I would recommend avoiding this jeweler and finding another more trust worthy business.

My first recommendation if you are considering buying jewelry from here is to get the lifetime care plan!! We purchased both mine and my husbands rings from here and the care plan has saved us a lot of money (loose diamonds, soldering and re dipping, TWO ring replacements with my husbands rings because of manufacturer problems, etc.) All of the poor reviews are from over a year ago, they now have a new manager- Karen who is so friendly and great to work with!

My fiancee used to be a loyal customer of Fred Meyer and get jewelry for me and his mother on pretty much every occasion from Fred Meyers, until he was treated absolutely disrespectfully at this location a few months back...Well, I would love to thank the management for that experience, because of it he turned completely away from mall jewelry stores and switched to Tiffany (my engagement ring came from Tiffany, too...woohooo)

No problems with this place. The staff was very kind. All I needed was a clip on a necklace soldered. So nothing too big. It was done in about thirty minutes. Kind of expensive though. I guess I dont know what the going rate for soldering jewelry is, but $25 is far more than I would have guessed. If I was the father to a high school student I probably would have just had them fix it for me in their technology class.

All my friends that have purchased here have been treated horribly. Their staff is less than knowledgable and they operate a shady business. Make sure you get everything documented up front, because after you buy they dont care a rats a$$ about you.
