UPDATE: No, that is false. I asked in three different ways if I could return the part and each time was told "no refunds on electronics". I did not storm out, there were several chances in that 5 minutes to offer an in store credit and it was never brought up. This falsification of your story makes it hard to know what else you are saying is true or fabricated. ORIGINAL: The store feels like you are in someones messy living room. I guess thats typical for most hobby shops, so no big deal. Ive spent over $200 on parts here and each time I go I think, "why did I shop here". It seem they are always out of stock for regular items you would break on a Traxxas, so its easier for me to save the trip and just order online anyway and wait a couple days. Obviously local shops are a little pricey compared to online anyway and I also found out that if you buy the wrong electronic part, you cant return it here. Absolutely no refunds on any electronics, even if it is still in the package. Lame. I now have had enough bad experiences to just not shop here anymore.

2nd time I went there and was unable to get any help at all there was a crying baby I asked if I could help her and she rudely to me no I asked for the part I needed and she told me they didnt sell any losi parts so I asked here where her books were on it she rudely pointed where they were I dodnt find anything but saw on the wall what I need she didnt even get up and get it off the wall to let me look at it and told me I couldnt go behind the counter she said she was the owner niece. So then I asked her she sold any rpm parts for Texas and she point blank looked at me and told me no we dont sell anything like this I was looking at them on the wall I saw the part I needed it was like pulling teeth just to get my part off the wall cause she told me not to go back behind the counter. I have know these owners since they owned intermountain rc and I have never been treated like this sorry but not sorry for the bad review I will take my business else where

The first thing you notice when walking into this place is a sign in the parking lot which is meant to scare people from photographing at the side of the old building they are in. Not a good first impression because it makes them sound petty and cheap. Then, going into the store, there were these three creepy kids behind the counter. I am not sure if they were all employees, but they seemed a little put out that my family and I had come into the store and spoiled their fun. The store itself was well stocked with some good products at slightly high prices, but I just did not feel comfortable making a purchase. I actually went back a couple days later to find a nice older couple behind the counter. What a difference! I am changing my rating from 2 to 4 stars based on the selection of products, especially model rockets.

these guys are the nicest people on planet earth they will answer all your question and they have never tried any scam like telling me i need more than what i got. they have great customer service and are local so its easy to get all my rc and model etc. needs without ordering online. five stars is the best i can give but if i could give more i would. p.s all of you that say they are bad because they didnt refund after 15 days well thats a good policy they shouldnt even let you return it if its been two p.p.s if you are reading this and you own a mad mans hobby, thanks! keep doing what youre doing

The brand variety is minimal. Accessories are unbelievably overpriced. It appears the store is run by a family and doubles as an alledged daycare (which is fine most of the time...), but when it impedes a potential big-money customer from wanting to even ask for help from staff....well, daycare needs to be reevaluated. This is also not an isolated scenario. Its like this consistently, and has driven me away to other (further away from my house than this place...) hobby stores. Fix the staffing and/or babysitting organization, and be prepared to help your customers who are serious about buying.

I have been to this store several times for a repair on a rock band drum set, to rockets and engines to pinewood derby kits and wheels. Always very helpful and knowledgeable. You feel like you get the hometown service instead of the big department store feel. More parts and accessories than you know what to do with. I will continue going for all my kids hobby needs.

I am giving this place one star because I had a coupon that said, "45% off any new item." Seems straight forward to me. They would not honor the coupon so I think they suck. A little hole in the wall should look into some kind of customer service. I try to support small local business but places like this make it hard. Good luck staying in business Madman.

Customer Service is lacking. I tried to return a product that I ended up not needing for my sons pinewood derby car. The product was brand new and unopened . I also had the receipt but because it had been longer than 15 days they would not return it. Wont be going back.

I came here hopefully to find a part for my RC crawler. They did not have the part and did not even try to help me out. I asked if they could order it or refer me to somewhere that might have it and it was like I asked to borrow their car. #grumpyoldmen

Selection isnt bad for this hole-in-the-wall shop but still leaves something to be desired. Staff is fairly knowledgeable or will refer you to someone who can help if they cant. I prefer this place for more common items like glue.
