Young desk help, probably family, cute girls but not knowledgeable about things like which drill bit do I need for a certain project or do they carry a certain kind of glove, etc. Not as knowledgeable as I would like and in fact their loyal customers are the ones to ask for help, not the person behind the checkout. The location is good for the area. We use them often for our hardware needs, our company is a block away. They are smaller, but have most of what I need when I need it. A lot easier to navigate than their big box competition. Their finances probably limit their ability to hire and keep knowledgeable front desk help and there are not associates standing on each corner to ask questions... again, not a big box store, a home town store, which is preferable in my opinion. If they would make it a priority to teach their cashiers what inventory is where, I would give it a 5 star rating.

I called them to find out if they had 6x6x10 douglas fir post. I was told that they did and they cost @ $33/each in douglas fir. I told them Id be right there. When I got there, after waiting 15 minutes for someone to sell me one even though the store was nearly void of any customers, I was informed that they dont stock those and they couldnt tell me how long it would take or if I could even get one from them. At least now I know why they have no customers. Do it Worst Lumber, never again.
