I am more than upset by my recent experience with the West Jordan Home Depot, and even more upset that I feel a desire to never return to such a great store. I wanted to tile my porch and decided to buy the sealer for the tile from Home Depot. To be sure I was making the right decision, I asked an employee to help me. He found me a sealer with which he ensured me would work outside with my tile. After buying the tile, sealer, and paying for the labor, my porch was more than beautiful and exceeded every expectation! Then the winter came. All of the tile started chipping everywhere! I was sick about the whole situation and immediately went back to Home Depot and asked multiple employees which sealer to use for the exact situation and they all agreed on the original sealer. So that is when I talked with the store manager. He was friendly and very helpful and ensured they would take care of everything, because after researching, clearly the sealer used was not the correct product for my project. The store manager then referred me to Home Depots insurance company. After speaking with Stephanie Willis multiple times, they completely refused to help me and they insist it isnt their problem. After spending $3,500 on my destroyed porch, I am upset and dont know where to go for help at this point. As a loyal Home Depot customer I feel a great need to write this review. When I say loyal, I mean I am in a home depot store 2 to 4 times daily and spend 2 to 4 thousand a month on average. Having been a contractor for 35 years I know it is very important for me to do everything in my power to make sure my customers are happy. I only wish Home Depot would feel the same. And even more than that, I want them to understand that I have been loyal with you, and I seriously wish you would be loyal with me.

I have been doing business at the West Jordan Home Depot since 2005 when we began to remodel our home. I had Candace for cabinets, Tyson for flooring, and Hasson for our manager and cooridinator. We are now re-doing a downstairs bathroom. Once again, we are using the West Jordan Home Depot and most of all because Hasson is there. I have never received greater, more efficient service than what he provides for us. He is friendly, helpful and very kind to my husband and I as his customers. He goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of in every aspect. I would highly recommend this store. When I deal with Hasson, I can know and trust that I will get the BEST customer service ever! We are always happy with the results of the work done also. The sub contractors do a great job and if there is a problem, it is taken care of efficiently and with no questions asked. Thank you Hasson!

I generally love Home Depot for the products they carry. It is very convenient! My review is for a carpet purchase only. I spent $3000 on in stock carpet because they told me it would be "installed WITHIN 10 days" upon payment in full. Once I paid in full, they called to schedule the installation a few days later and the soonest date was 20 days out. It was the installers who called to schedule, so I called Home Depot to see why the mix up. I was told "Sorry, we used to install within 5 days." Im wondering how that helps me exactly! They promised something they couldnt deliver and didnt offer any compensation for it. I was scheduled to put the home up for sale but had to sit around and wait 20 days which put me pretty far behind. Very disappointed for sure. I spent 2 hours after the installers left cleaning up carpet and staples they left all over my house.

Went to drop off 14 fluorescent light bulbs to recycle responsibly. They asked if they came from my home or a business. Since these came from my office, I told the lady the origin - then she said she couldnt take them because they came from a business. Supposedly businesses would drop off too many bulbs for them to recycle. Was also told I cant drop off t12 bulbs because theyre too big. ??? Ive been going out of my way to shop at this location for several years. This simple transaction has soured me to shop at Lowes that is much closer to me anyways. If you claim you offer something, dont tell your customers when they get there there are hidden rules and stipulations to something you advertise (likely as a simple way to get customers in the door). Poor form.

Absolute idiots in lumber. Ive been 3 times asking about their fence panels, for cost on those missing tags and each time Ive gotten a glassed over blank stare back. The first time from a person who is the older version of uncle rico from napoleon dynamite who screws up cutting a 2x4 but blames company politics and twice now from a stoner who cant turn on his own barcode scanner on. The kicker is they cant navigate their site, the site doesnt contain the information requested (hence the in store visits), and nobody at the store knows how to go about finding the information either. How dumb do you have to be? I asked for a manager, I waited 40 minutes and nobody turned up. Annoyed and unhelped, after my time being wasted, I left.

On Home Depots website I signed up to be contacted by a rep to setup a free windows consultation. A rep called me within 48 hours to setup an appointment with a Home Depot salesman. I was NOT impressed at all with the knowledge of their sales guy. There were two windows in my home that had structural supports running through the middle of the windows. These windows are very large....and he thought that I could remove the beams and install one large window because he thought the beams werent structural. He also did not know too much about their financing options and he forgot to bring his bid sheet. So, he wrote out his bid on the Home Depot Window brochure. I wish I had that hour and a half of my life back!

The cashier was apathetic and condescending. She said almost nothing, didnt make eye contact, and overall acted as if we were imposing on her time like she had something better to do. It takes almost no effort to be friendly and much more effort to be a jerk. Guess which one she chose? UPDATE - I filled out the review from my receipt and I got an email stating that my review "did not meet our guidelines to be eligible for publication on our site." Really? Home Depot is censoring negative reviews on their own website!? This is unacceptable. The review I gave was specific and appropriate. How can anyone trust the reviews posted on their website if they censor in this fashion?

the worst experience ! I was at self cashier paying for my items but the machine was unbelievable to print out the receive, in my way out I ask one of the cashier/ attendance for my receive, she never turn or make any eye contact with me and she told me That he didnt what to do, with a rude attitude!..."wait wait"!....She make me feel like I was bugging her for the only reason that I was asking for my receive. I asked to speek with the manager and so I explained to him the situation, I end up walking out the store without my receive and they said they are fining to sent it by email. I still didnt receive it!
