My wife had purchased a small bracelet for $6.99, and the crystals on it started falling off immediately. I tried to return the item, and it didnt match the register code number. The manager came by, and said that the item was never rung up on the register, and that I would not be given an exchange or refund. His rude treatment of the transaction demonstrated that this Ace Hardware is not a place anyone should shop at. First they mispriced an item upon scanning, and then failed to refund the money, and then responded rudely to the request for a refund. DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF.

I have gone to this Ace hardware for 5 years and have never had a bad experience. I have been in the store when other shoppers have been rude and still the staff is very professional. As for Stella and her remarks about having an accent, it does not matter if you are a real estate agent, a doctor or lawyer. If someone can not understand you, than they can not understand you. I have relatives from Europe, India and Australia. There are many times others can not figure out what they are saying. That does not make them racist. Get a grip, the people who work here, work very hard to be helpful.

Excellent service! Very impressive! Drew made my new screen to order which I brought home when completed but was unable to put it in the space. I have done this before so I thought maybe it was cut a little too big. I called Drew who said he would be happy to stop at my condo to put the screen in or take it back to Ace to resize it. He came by the same day and happily, he got it in and it fit perfectly! I was so impressed with this employee who went above and beyond to see that his work was done correctly from start to finish! Thank you Drew for your awesome customer service!!

I am sure that if you dont have an accent you will get a good customer service. On March 09, 2015 I visited the store as I live very close to it for 9 years, and yesterday the gentleman that I asked for help told me that he couldnt understand my English, I am a real estate broker, I asked for help a lady behind the counter, and she didnt understand my English either. I am very disappointed that some people are so racists. I they dont like people with different backgrounds would be better that they find a job where customer service is not needed.

Ive shopped here for years and last week had five keys made. Only four worked, so I had to make a trip back to have it fixed. Did they apologize? No. I asked, "How about giving me another key to make up for the extra trip?" They ignored me. It is a small thing, I realize. But it made me feel like these guys (and it is ALWAYS all guys) do not care at all about customers. Surely that is not true. I am not sure.

Great experience here. Kelli really saved our butts with her knowledge of plumbing. We just went in and told her what our problem was, and she figured out a great solution for us, found everything we needed to get it done, and then told us how to do the fix. Their customer service could not be better.

Ive used this Ace, for the last 3 years, as a better alternative to Home Depot. Very friendly staff. Always willing to answer a question and show you where an item is located. Not the same selection as Home Depot, but much quicker to get in and out for small purchases.

Bought a ton of paint ($1000+ ) for our house. They accidentally messed up two mixed cans with the wrong color formula. We brought them back and they replaced them with the correct cans no questions asked. Great service and very friendly.
