Lately, it seems like this place is competing with Game Over for worst game store in the metroplex. The owners and their staff clearly do not know their product as they overcharge on everything from common titles to rarities. They appear to look up ebay/amazon pricing, then add an extra $20 on top of that. This may work on these born again "retro gamers" who suddenly after 20 years realize that yes, the NES/SNES still exists and jump on the hype bandwagon. Same "gamers" who were no where to be found when the true fans were building their collections and be laughed at for "playing that old crap" in the late 90s. But thats another rant. When called out about tying to blatantly overcharge, and that everywhere else is virtually cheaper, customers are told "then go on ebay then". Instead of being competitive, they are rather confrontational. Not only are the prices bad but the service is as well. Several times I have been in or called up there to ask about an item in stock and am told "We have it, but are saving it" or it "hasnt been cleaned yet so we wont sell". When asked if they could clean up something that was of interest, I get told itd be ready when they get around to it. Most of the staff and owners have this general rude attitude. With the exception of one terrible corporation mentioned in the beginning of this review, any other store has been happy to clean off their games and provide them for sale. This didnt happen overnight. Ive given this place many chances until now. Ive been visiting many game stores for the past 20 years and never had as bad of experience as I have here. Buying games shouldnt be this complicated or a drain on your wallet. Id advise any serious collectors to avoid this place and look elsewhere.

I honestly wanted to not give a star and just write the review. But it wouldnt let me. I take customer service VERY seriously; so anytime I go into a place of business, how the associates handle business, even if the customer is wrong, matters greatly. I had, key word HAD a laptop whose touchpad wasnt functioning. I took it to this shop first, and the conversation exchange was disheartened and disappointing. To not be greeted when I first walked in was flag #1. For an associate to speak to me as if I purposely sabotaged my laptop was flag #2. For another associate to seem impatient and consult the other associate was flag #3. And then to be told because the laptop wouldnt get to the main screen and because it seemed tampered with was flag#4. It came off as if they were appalled and insulted for me to bring my laptop in. Yet, I make my short way to a nearby shop and within hours my laptop was fixed within reasonable price.

I went into Found It Electronics about a month ago to buy a Super Nintendo. They had a couple SNES systems so I picked one up and a couple of games (Including FF3!). Anyhow, the system seemed to work great at first but I could not get SimCity to work and 2 of the generic sports games I picked up would also lock up at the same points over and over. I took the carts to a buddys house and they started right up so I was perplexed to say the least. A couple of days later I took the SNES back up to Found It and after a bit of trouble shooting we found that the system was bad and they replaced it at that point! Problem solved and they made a regular customer out of me with top notch customer service. Sometimes it pays to pay retail prices when you know theyll take care of you.

Writing this on behalf of Howard Carter. He recently purchased a GameShark memory card for PS1 from this company, unfortunately the card did not work. After emailing FIE regarding this matter, we tried the solution that they gave us but still to no avail the card did not work. So he email them again to see if possibly they had any other suggestions to resolve the issue, unfortunately the response back was not at this time. So in good faith FIE immediately issued a full refund for the product with their apologies. This being Howards first time making a purchase such as this, his overall experience with Found It Electronics was a pleasant one and he would do business with them again. They Rock!!!

Not really impressed with the store. U walk into store and majority of there lights are off. I asked and they said t h e computers emit alot of heat. One of the young guys was helpful who was there Sunday. The kid with the glasses and red hair was a little rude. Bought 5th element for a Playstation 1 got a little down the road and noticed disk was cracked. Brought it back and the kid w glasses said he could resurface it. I was like No its cracked Ill get something else. They said they dont have time to check everything that is brought in to sell. Well other game stores make the time to check every thing out!!!!!!!

The people here are very friendly and are a great help. I went through a couple of computers to find the right one for my son but the help find one that fit the bill and there was never a hassle, returning ones that did not work. I cant say enough about how great they have been. If you are looking for a good used computer or looking for those old school video games you grew up with stop by and give them a look, you will not be disappointing.

I dont know what some of these people are talking about, I have been there twice and was greeted both times and had conversations with the staff both times. They are very knowledgeable and very friendly, I think they were fair on their prices as well. I like the fact that they sell vintage game systems, it is something that Game Stop should consider with the growing popularity of these old systems. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Great! Been coming here for years to either fix or sell our electronics. With 2 kids and a dog we have gone through alot of phones and tablets. This place is a godsend. If the cant fix it theyll buy it. We always go here first, great staff, super friendly and very knowledgeable. There are other stores or the big box places but hands down this is the best spot.

Amazing place! First time I came in, found out that a couple of the guys that work there I went to school with. Very friendly, great selections, and are very fair with their prices on what they are willing to buy! Also dont listen to those negative 1 star reviews. Clearly spiteful people who did not get what they wanted, so decided to try and ruin a business.

Best used electronics store around. Great prices on videos games, computers, etc. They have a very extensive selection of retro video games, for below average retail prices, especially NES, SNES, and N64. They also have a pretty good selection of GB, GBC, and GBA games. Trade-in prices are really good, compared to other stores, like gamestop.

Great company!!! They have always been helpful and worked with me to get a good price for my electronics that I no longer need! The owner is a gamer and very knowledgeable about the subject and has an incredible collection of new and old games so you can find all the stuff that you remember so fondly!
