My husband and I went to Best Buy to install our stereo. At first everything was fine but when we got home and shut it off and turned it back on it wouldnt. The key got stuck in the ignition. The whole vehicle just died, as if the battery died. We called them, waiting 30 plus minutes for someone to just answer the phone, then had to wait however long for them to transfer us to a manager. We told them we were just there and what was going on. They asked if we would come back. Luckily we got it to start up and went back. The gentleman took out the new stereo and installed the old one and it was working fine, so we thought. He said it was because OnStar controls the vehicle and the cord they installed wasnt computing with the system causing it to malfunction but everything should be fine now. He refunded EVERYTHING. We got back home but this time the car wouldnt turn over or anything. Called them back again, waiting 30 plus minutes just for someone to answer and then again however long to be transferred to a manager and the lady said that we would need to get it towed to a dealership, have them take a look at it, give them a diagnostic report and then go from there. The lady even admitted that this has happened before, "not often" but it has happened. So right now we have to fork out $70 plus dollars for a tow truck serves since it takes a couple days for the money they refunded to go back on our card. And since that is our only vehicle, my husband has no way to work and God knows how long it will take for our vehicle to be fixed. I WILL NEVER GO TO BEST BUY EVER AGAIN.

Best Buy is one of the few electronics stores left in Wichita; this is the only reason I will go there. They tend to keep most high-demand items in stock, and their prices on larger home electronics are competitive. However, if youre looking for better prices on consumer electronic or more specific items, youre better off looking online. In my personal experience, the service has been fair, at best. While buying a new TV, my fiancée was nearly pushed into a model that ended up not being in stock. We ended up looking at online reviews to make our final decision. I have asked about whether specific items are in stock, only to be met with confusion ("What do you mean?") or contradictory statements ("Sure, we have Bluetooth keyboards. Theyre right over here. Oh, wait, did you say Bluetooth? Never mind.") In general, you should go here if you know what you need and you need it immediately. Otherwise, youre better off waiting the 3-5 days to have it shipped from an online retailer.

The store is pretty good but the company is turning to crap. Unless you need high end electronics or very common things you are better off looking online. Went there to buy a DVI to HDMI cable. Was greeted when I walked in, greeted when I got in the computer section, shown exactly what I needed and was greeted on my way out when I started browsing amazon for a better price. 35 dollars for and DVI to HDMI cable. Was able to buy 2 of them on Amazon at a longer length and for only 14 dollars shipped 2 day delivery. The store itself and the employees are good to deal with but I will not be going back if they continue to charge outrageous prices, continue to cut the amount of items they have in favor of putting the more common/expensive items in its place and continue to not have more options then just the house brand.

So today I had my new washer/dryer set delivered to my house. My wife was home to accept the delivery and removal of the old units. We ordered the set in the store, but the washer online because it wasnt in the store, so she really didnt see it up close when buying it. Delivery showed up when they were suppose to, installed them, and took the old ones. No bid deal. But after running a couple loads, best buy called to inform us they delivered the wrong set. So she had to go back home so they could switch them out. Plus the new owners of the set they originally delivered is now a used set which Best Buy said under no circumstances would sell a used set. So to whoever bought a Whirlpool set and having them delivered today, they are used and we used standard detergent, not HE as specified. Way to go Best Buy.

Date: 5/29/17, time 1:22pm TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I went in with 200 cash to buy new wireless headphones. There are 3 people STANDING by the entrance NOT PAYING ATTENTION to customers. I walk right to the headphones and start looking but I realize Im not clear because the display doesnt match up with the boxes of headphones. Then a YOUNG GUY WITH DARK HAIR AND RAT STACHE comes and asks me if he can help me. I ask him where I can find ON EAR headphones and he shows me OVER EAR and I ask him if these are the same and he RUDELY explained (as if I should know) that they are the same thing and some people have big ears. It wasnt what he said but how he said it as he walks away. NO BUSINESS FOR THIS PLACE

Im not generally one to complain but Im tired of best buys, this one in particular. I was in with my family as they were going to get me a fathers day gift of my choice and we asked for help on several occasions and instead of just helping they always say " let me find somebody for you". Everytime I go there its allways 30 min plus wait to get somebody to simply go get your product youve allready picked out. And these large companies cant figure out why they are all going bankrupt...being a business owner I know its all about customer service and they are terrible at it. How they survive this long is beyond me.....

Called this ridicules store 3 times in a row and a grand total of 32 minutes on the phone with no one even to answer the phone, it was all automated. Trying to see if they have a product in stock there. Every time I go in something happens. Either they dont have it in stock after calling and checking online to see if they have it, or they had it but sold it to someone else before I got there. Wth! The staff suck, not friendly or informative. This is by far the worst BB we have ever been to. I wouldnt recommend this store to anyone. Find your product somewhere else or buy it online.

I ordered an item for in store pickup and had to cancel it. I called the store 5 times with no answer, and on the sixth time someone finally answered and transferred me, where the phone rang for 5 minutes straight and no one picked up. Then it hung up on me. So I called the 800 number to cancel it, and waited on hold for 15 minutes, only to have them hang up on me again. I tried calling another store, same story. They only let you cancel an order within 1 hour of ordering it and Ive been trying for 30 minutes so far with no success. Wow Best Buy, get your head out of your butt!
