The ambiance was impeccable. The cashier was sexy and flighty. ... The exotic nudey mags made me feel some type of way. In the past 6 months, I had a crazy ex-boyfriend. Well call him Boban. Looking back on it, I dont really know why I dated Boban in the first place. He didnt speak any English, but his parents were rich and he had curly black hair... Which Im still kind of a fan of. It kind of reminded me of an 80s disco Jew fro, but I dont like 80s music.... Which by the way, they have a fair selection of, betwixt the endless rows and rows of Latino CDs and cassettes. Anyway, back to Boban. He drove a beige 1994 Honda wagon. It wasnt the sexiest car, but it was tricked out by the finest sound system made up of parts akin to those available for purchase at Jalisco electronics. I dont really know what goes into that, but when we would boom, boom pow to the particular Black Eyed Peas song, I felt the base ripple through my whole body. Just like the pleasure he gave me. We had a half and hr wait at Roots pizza across the street when I happened to spontaneously enter the pearly white lighting of the store. This was the closest to God Ive ever been. My therapist says I rant a lot, so Ill try to keep it short. The merchandise is reasonably price and everything appeared to be tidy and well kempt. They have a myriad of cell phone cases, which i wish I knew about sooner. Because last week, my life got turned upside down when my phone fell out of a cab on the highway while driving down lake shore drive. I yelled at the cabbie to stop abruptly despite the torrential flow of traffic. With no regard for my own personal safety, I leapt out of the cab to retrieve my beloved. I ran backwards (approximately 50 feet) searching for her, which was like skimming a "Wheres Waldo" illustration, except it was extremely terrifying. Long story short, I found my phone. She wasnt the phone I had once known. The screen was shattered, phone calls rarely work, the music app is stuck playing "Sugar Sugar" by the Archies. I hate my iPhone... Should have got an android. Story for another time. If I werent still on Bobans Boost mobil family plan, I would upgrade the phone myself. But right now, Im getting a free cellphone... So who cares? When I date someone, I dont ask for a lot... But getting your cell phone paid for is kind of nice. My therapist says I should get a full time job, and he is probably right, but Im going to give it another couple of months. What I do know is that when I do get a job and am upgrading my cellphone, I will be buying from Jalisco Electronics... And I will be buying a case. Anyway, it wasnt long before our table was available at Roots Pizza, so I ran out of the store without saying so much as thank you to the cashier for the experience of enlightenment that was walking into this store. There was more than one lesson to learn here. One of them is, always date people that speak your native language. The second is if you jump out of a cab on Lakeshore Drive during rush hour, the cab will drive off without you rendering you to fend for yourself... Basically playing real life "Frogger." The third lesson is that if you want good electronics that seem to be in good working order at a reasonable price, you should shop at Jalisco Electronics. I would write more, but Im late for my session with my therapist... So I have to end it here.

I brought in my Xbox 360 because it wasnt reading disks properly. They said I would get a call in a couple of days with an estimate. Skip to a week later and several calls from me they tell me they cant fix it but have another one for sale. When I picked up my box it not only had a broken door (that wasnt before) but wasnt syncing with my remotes either ( also not what I brought it in for). When I called to complain they said I had to bring it in at 8:30pm to have the guy look at it again. I will never recommend this business to anyone again.

This is my new go-to phone repair shop. Located right next to Cleoss on Chicago Ave., Jalisco Electronics doesnt fit in with the growing row of bars and restaurants along the street...but dont let that fool you. These guys are legit, courteous and well-priced. Cracked your phone screen...bring it in for a 20 minute replacement for under a hundo.
