I am only giving this place a 1-star review because 1 star was the minimum requirement in order to review it. It represents the interactions with the entire computer department, the checkout cashier, and the on-duty supervisor. I literally had to enter into the personal space of what appeared to be the computer departments supervisor before she acknowledged my existence after blatantly following her through the bulk of her department. Again, this was so she would acknowledge my existence. She didnt ask if I needed assistance. I ended up leaving the store after dumping my printer, modem, and HDMI cable at the checkout because of a 10 minute wait for the cashier to ring me up. If you think you are saving money by price matching, Best Buy will make you pay for it in the checkout process. Calling to inform the manager of my experience was a joke. He left me with the impression that he did not care about the store visit. I got a sterile, standardized, and suspiciously rehearsed-sounding response that expressed no empathy and presented a poorly constructed solution involving "training the employees". I would go back only to put my hands on a product because it beats driving to Frys...but my future orders will likely go to a competitor. I could get better service from the electronics department at 4am at a Wal-Mart.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE DECIDING TO BUY A COMPUTER! ! So hopefully if you are going to buy from best buy I hope you change your mind from reading this. I bought a HP laptop for school only and I have had the computer for 8 months. In the entire time I have had it stop working a total of 3 times. The first time it stopped working was after 3 months. Every time I have went to customer service I was never greeted. The girl in customer service was very rude and passed be off to Geek squad. Since that visit I have been back several times for the same issue. The last time I dropped off my laptop to Geek squad a month or so ago I had the worse tech help me. She had short brunette hair and she was extremely rude and was arguing with me the entire time. Iv had the WORST experience at this location. To make things even more great when I dropped my computer off to Geek squad my laptop was shipped back to me and I never got my $60 charger back..... I went to Geek squad again and they acted as if I was bothering them. They said they would get back with me and never did. Im a full time student who is just trying to use my laptop for school... its been such a inconvenience never having a laptop for my required lab courses. Will not ever buy from Best Buy again.

I called in and asked for help finding a monitor with a minimum resolution for a project that requires use of a pretty old system with a minimum resolution requirement to function. I explained several times the resolution needed, and the salesman repeatedly offered monitors with resolutions about 75% of the minimum I had repeatedly given. He kept saying, "well, product X is $175 and has a resolution of..."too small. Again, I said that I needed a higher resolution than that, it must be at least 1800 x 1400, blah blah. He then recommended one about 14x10, and finally I asked if I was failing to be clear about my requirements. His reply, "Well, we have one that meets your requirements but its really expensive and Im trying to find you one you can afford." Now, I know he could not see what I look like and had no idea of what I can and cant afford, but no matter how you slice it, that comment was extremely rude. Ill never be back to this store, I couldnt believe the nerve of the kid. Just because his type of lifestyle may involve living paycheck to paycheck and he probably makes crap money, doesnt mean he knows anything about my bank balance. Another store got the close to $400 I had planned to spend and Im happy with their service.

This is the worst best buy I have ever experienced. I baught a 12 dollar charger and it didnt work I repeatedly baught back the charger. My grandmother passed. And I had to go to the funeral. When I get back to return the charger for the 6th time they tell me I couldnt because of a 15 day return policy. The manager Hassan laughed about my experience and said he couldnt do anything. After I not only had frustration with going back and forth. My grandmother passing and having to go to new york. He tells me I couldnt get my 12 dollars back? Ha this place is a joke. They have no customer service whatsoever and Hassan The Manager" is ad unprofessional as Ive ever seen one. SHOP ON LINE! Theres better people than these corporate sheep employees. Thathe dont know the beginning of customer retention.

I bought an outdoor Swann camera system, and the extended warranty for it. 2 of the cameras began having quality issues, the picture being cloudy and shaded purple. Research revealed that this is a common problem with these cameras. I went to the store to see about exchanging them under the warranty that I purchased, and was told that I could not exchange just the cameras. I was required to bring everything that was in the box when I purchased it, including the cables. I explained that I had paid $300 to have the cables installed in my attic. The manager did not care. I have bought many electronic items from BB over the years, one of the main reasons is that I could get the extended warranty. I guess since those warranties are now worthless, I will shop other retailers online.

Amazing Experience at this location. Staff was super friendly, accommodating and engaging. Everyone was in great spirits, fun to talk to and bent over backwards to help us find what we were looking for. Definitely got great value for our purchase! I read the previous reviews regarding Geek Squad-- I empathize with everyone on their thoughts. If you get crappy service from Geek Squad escalate to the store manager or corporate (Call Corporate while youre in the store and ask for their names) promise theyll back track. My experience with the store Manager for this location was great. It wasnt a 22 yr old punk as mentioned by one of the reviews. He was in his late 30s and a bigger guy. Look for him-- he actually cares about the customer experience.

Terrible Customer Service! Let me first say, I have never written a review before but I feel like this review is needed. I went looking for an HDMI cable and a coupler to connect the cables. As a woman, this is not my forte. I found Christina, an employee near that section, and asked her for help. She gave me the biggest attitude..."UMMM, cant you see Im helping someone?!?" No maam I cant because there was no one near you-is what I wanted to say. I was so caught off guard. She didnt direct me to anyone else, but instead just walked away. Someone like that does not need to be working customer service. This is one of my husbands favorite stores and I hope to have a better experience next time either myself or my husband goes up there.

I bought my appliances from this Best Buy and they matched the deal I was going to get from Home Depot and still gave me their deal they were running as well. My husband and I decided to buy the parts to the fridge and the stove since that would allow complimentary installation, but there wasnt any extra parts etc. for the microwave so we decided not to pay the extra $110 to have it installed over the stove. My husband got it installed and then I noticed a piece inside the microwave missing. When I went back to the store and asked a manager about it, he was quick to have a new one delivered and do complimentary take down and reinstallation. Its all been a pleasant, easy experience and I appreciate that!
