I actually liked visiting this location every time I come into TX, but a couple of days ago, I had a rude experience with an elderly worker at the cutting counter named Kay. I had a little more than a dozen bolts of fabric to be cut and to be priced matched WITH THEIR OWN WEBSITE ONLINE PRICING. From the start you can tell she didnt want to cut me, because she was taking her sweet time to even acknowledge me. When I told my spouse how many of the bolts Im getting cut, then she hurried up and called Faiza over to cut, even though the previous customer only had about 2-3 bolts to cut. Okay, great I thought, but the bad part came when she kept butting into me and Faizas conversation about the whole price matching situation. She acted like she (Kay) didnt even know her own stores policy for price matching and she had the nerve to even comment to another CUSTOMER that "people always want something for free" referring to me for using their price matching system. If she only knew how many TENS OF THOUSANDS DOLLARS of MY HARD EARNED MONEY that I have spent on fabric from their store in just a year, that pays her and others salaries, she probably would have rethunk what her mouth should have been closed to. And for that reason, I am banning shopping at this store until they get rid of her.

Farzana was absolutely rude. I waited in line 10 minutes and finally when my turn came around to cut fabric I asked if she could assist me in finding one of my items in a different color. She said she could not help me because there was a line. I replied to her that I just waited my turn for customer service and you are saying you cannot help me? Her response was yes. She should not be in the customer service industry.... disappointing experience today with this lady.

The floor staff was unable to help me find an item even though I showed it to them on their website. I was able to find it myself eventually. Then, when paying, the cashier didnt know how to take gift cards and the manager told me to pay in cash or leave. The only reason why I went through with the purchase is because I needed the items immediately, but I would rather not use my gift card than go to a JoAnns again.

The employees at the cutting table have no sense of urgency. It doesnt matter if they have 1 customer or 10 waiting with fabric to be cut. Nor are they very friendly, Ive been here 3 times this year and everytime I left to go to hobby lobby. I dont have time to sit behind one person with only 2 bolts and wait for a half hour

Great store has tons of materials to choose from. They also offer classes like sewing and the staff is very helpful. Make sure you get the online coupons so you can get discounts. The cashier let us use several ones so dont hesitate to bring as many as you can find. The store itself has plenty of offers but

Very rude lady that fabric and when I told the manager I drove an hour and 20 min to get there He apologized and said she just comes across rude, no that lady was flat out rude, most older ladies are nice. Never again will I visit that store! I take my money some where else!

The sales are fantastic, and the coupons make for great deals. The only reason I dont give them five stars, is that this particular location is smaller than some in the big city. I like its proximity to my residence though, and the employees are friendly.

I have spent $2000 on curtains, and asked them to cut it for me, wasted 30 min of my time, and they told me the cant cut it because it would be a custom cut! This is out of line. Will return the product. Such stupid policy

Nice selection of fabrics and sewing supplies with some crafting. They like to use their online printable coupons to maximize your savings. Some items can be quite pricy without coupons.
