The checkout ladies were so rude to my husband and I on our visit. We were in line to pay and I walked towards the door holding my 2 month old because he was starting to get fussy, and one lady screamed at me to wait for my turn. I told her Im just walking out with the baby and she cut me off and told me again to go wait for my turn. While I was gone our checkout lady kept saying mean things to my husband. Ex. he was getting our young daughter to give an item she was holding to the lady to charge, and looked down at her without grabbing it, rolled her eyes and told my husband, "Are you going to get that or should I??" When we left they kept staring at us with an angry face. I dont know what their problem was, but I resent that and am not coming back to this location.

I brought two elderly women, one who is legally blind, to the store to purchase task lighting last week. There were several to choose from but none on display. I begin to open boxes so they could have a better idea what they were purchasing. Instead of offering to help and explain our option, the manager walked by and said, "I hope you can get those back in the boxes." and walked away. Seriously, is that customer service? *** UPDATE; today I visited the store and was given wonderful customer service by Connie. Thank you Connie, your good attitude made all the difference! Thank you!

love the staff, great sales, the cashiers are always helpful. but they NEVER have properly trained staff to handle more then one customer in fabric cutting. I have put back my fabric and left on many many a visit. they are sweet as can be but would be a 5 star if they had a few more people working in that section. I wanted to buy a 399.99 sewing machine and the girl was too busy talking to someone for 20 min over 1/2 yard of $2.99 fabric. finally the machine was too heavy to hold in line any more so i went and bought it from hobby lobby

I went here looking for some very specific and difficult to find fabric and they actually had it in stock! The first lady I asked was very sweet and helpful, even a fellow customer helped me out! The environment was very peaceful and happy and the three separate staff members I interacted with were all individually helpful and polite. This is the place to go when it comes to crafts, reminds me of a "mom and pop" shop.

Went to exchange a pattern I bought yesterday. It was too big. Cashier was rude from the beginning. Then he wanted me to pay full price for the new pattern. And when I refused to pay full price for it he told me, "Ill do something for you so you dont get all bent out of shape" and charged me the price I got it for yesterday.

If there is one thing I personally cant stand, its being ignored and treated like an idiot. Do your job Lady. Visit with friends after work. I was late to my job and still didnt have the opportunity to buy anything needed all thanks to your gossip.

Recently renovated store has also expanded their selection. While certainly not a flagship store, this is larger than the small neighborhood ones. Great selection of fabrics and yarns, and tons of home decor.

Didnt realize that sewing machines sold inside Joannes are sold by another, seperate, company, who marks them up quite a bit. If you know what you want, you are better off buying online from Joannes.
