took a necklace in for repair (broken link in a very delicate chain). picked it up and they replaced my original 16 inches chain with a 22 inches chain from an ordinary chain spool. when i reviewed the facts with them: 1) the original chain was 16 inches 2) the shop i purchased it from only buys this designers selection in 16 inch chains and a unique rectangle shape link. 3) the shop i purchased it from looked at it under a magnifying glass to confirm it was not the original. after all the facts were presented his response was that the chain stretched. (so... please understand what would have had to happen. my 16 inch chain would have had to stretch 6 inches in length. all links staying exact same size while stretching those 6 inches. i could agree that rose gold might give a little but not 6 inches, maybe elastic but not rose gold. so, please be aware before taking anything to them. they will take you for a ride and not even listen to what is coming out of their mouth. we are also reporting this establishment to the BBB.

Sammy is an upstanding and very helpfull individual. My fiance and I took a size 7 wedding set in to him at 11:15am and were able to get it back at 3:00pm the very same day. He tried it on with us to make sure we were satisfied with the way it fit; then sent us along our merry way. As the day wore on and the ring was being broken in it became loose enough on my fiances finger for her to worry. We went back to his shop the next day with intentions of getting the rings sized again, but he did it free of charge. We were once again able to get the rings back the same day we took them to him. Myself and my fiance were both more than satisfied with the service, craftsmanship, and courtesy we encountered at Celestial Jewel. I will soon be purchasing my own wedding band and fully intend to have it done by Sammy. I 100% advise anybody needing anything done to their existing jewelry, or if you are looking for new jewelry to do it with Sammy.

Three strikes against this company: I was not called as promised when my piece was ready. When I called the number on my ticket to see if it was ready for me to pick up, the number was not working (as it turns out, it hasnt worked for months). Most importantly, Celestial is ridiculously overpriced. I was charged $32 to have a charm added to my bracelet. I called Carrera Jewelers on Brook Hollow to compare, and with the jump ring and soldering, they charge only $12. Carrera will be getting 100% of my business going forward.

Owner put a $17.50 battery in my quartz watch. Didnt tell me until he gave me the bill after installing it.. Sorry I paid him.. outrageous rip off. He said when i asked why so high!! "im worth it." ! GREEDY AND TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT IN MY OPINION. I would not go there for anything in the future... BUYER BEWARE. Ridiculous !!
