Absolutely the most disappointing customer service experience(S) ever. My husband and I were so excited to move to Rockwall where everyone is so friendly and nice. Our customer service interactions in Rockwall have always been top notch. Unfortunately, the Rockwall way is not reflected in this Walmart whatsoever. Since moving to Rockwall in the past month we have spent over $1,600 at this specific location, and we will not be returning. #1 Yesterday afternoon we were shopping in the toy section with our children. There were many associates pushing past us with large carts full of inventory. I stated jokingly to the kiddos that we chose the wrong area to shop in and we were in the way. An associate in passing, without smiling at us, looking at us, or acknowledging us stated irritably, "Well you ARE in the receiving area." #2 My husband has a G Shock watch that was purchased at Walmart. On January 29th, he went to a Walmart in Highland Village to get the battery switched out. The young associate at the jewelry counter struggled for 15 minutes and even YouTubed how to replace the battery before switching it out. When my husband attempted to spring forward the time on his watch due to Daylight Savings Time on Sunday, he found the buttons on the side of his watch were sucked in and didnt work. They worked prior to the battery being replaced, and after further research, we found if the the back plate of the watch is not reattached correctly, this happens. I took his watch and the receipt to the Rockwall Walmart today to have this fixed. I was informed that they cannot work on waterproof watches or any watches they dont sell. I explained all G Shock watches are waterproof and this watch was purchased at Walmart. They stated it wasnt their location and they couldnt help. I further explained that his watch was damaged/put in a position where it doesnt function by a Walmart associate and someone should take responsibility. The associate called her manager who stated that there was nothing she could do as they were instructed 2 years ago by Casio not to replace their watch batteries. I explained again that although that may be the policy, an associate did attempt to replace it and damaged the watch as a result. She stated that was 2 months ago and anyone during that time could have damaged the watch- insinuating that I was lying. She told me to send the watch in to Casio to fix and walked off. I understand there are people out there who lie in order to get things for free. That is not us. We make more than enough money to go buy 100 watches. That does not change the fact that someone from Walmart (a multi-million dollar company) should take responsibility for fixing my husbands watch or at least provide some decent level of customer service. My husband and I might just might go buy 100 watches and $1,600 more in groceries and household items in the next few weeks, but it wont be from this Walmart. Kroger and Target can have our business from now on.

Walmart is terrible. Been going downhill since they came into existance. They treat their employees like dirt, pinch every penny til it screams,..and cut back anything they possibly can to put more money in their greedy little pockets. The store in Rockwall Texas is no exception. They even discontinued putting twisty ties out in their produce department ! Just to save a few bucks Im sure. So now we just tie our bags in little knots,...LOL...I hope the Walton family has many mercedes in their driveways next year! Its the little things that count ! Walmart is one of those places that "supposedly" has everything you need under one roof. Then why is it that they only seem to have what you need one tenth of the time?,..And when that happens,...they always seem to have something even crappier ,..not "exactly" what you need,..but itll do for now right there on the shelves,?,..Weird huh... Walmart sales equate to 10% of overall sales across the entire globe annually. But they cant keep their employees happy,.turnover is insane..and bottom line,.its all about the almighty dollar. money money money,..thats Walmarts philosophy. Stop putting twisty ties in our produce departments and well save 15 million dollars a year,.Thats probably enough to buy your nephews a few yachts when they turn 16,..okay,..maybe not,...maybe just a mansion or two!....Walmart,..Waltons,..you guys better wake up and smell the fact that youre upsetting a lot of very nice people. Were called "Americans!" My wife and I hope you straighten out your company sometime soon. We currently only shop there when we absolutely have to.Soon hopefully we wont shop there at all. Leaning more towards the "honest" businesses these days you might say. You could take a lesson there! Walmart employees are some of the nicest people on earth,...work their butts off. They deserve better from a family making more money than Donald Trump and Microsoft...combined! And they deserve raises!!! Just an opinion. M&C Rockwall , TX

Just wanted to share one of few bad experiences. Usually Im pretty satisfied but today I was treated unusually bad by the cashier. I had been in line for about 5 minutes with 2 other customers in front of me. The cashier walks to the end of the conveyor belt (directly in front of my basket) and places a line closed sign. She then tells me I should choose another lane because her line is closed! I told her that I had been in line several minutes already and since there was no one behind me the appropriate thing to do would be to finish iut her line. She told me there were plenty of other lanes open and to choose one! She was conveniently bot wearing a name tag, which I have never seen before. I told her she was rude and to expect a bad review (not that Wal-Mart cares but I believe in good customer service. If anyone is checking this was Friday 8/18/17 at 3:20pm lane 14.

This Wal-mart is often pretty busy and due to its location there arent too many "people of walmart" type people. The parking lot is poorly set up, though, and its sometimes hard to get to from I-30 because you have to fight your way over if its a busy time of day. Its the first one in the area to offer grocery pick-up: If you havent tried this out, it is AWESOME!! You shop online, anything from milk and eggs to paintbrushes and dog food, pay online and select a time slot. You then get step by step instructions to drive to the right-hand side of the building and park in designated slots where you either check in on a phone app or call a specific number and the employees will wheel all of your groceries out and even load it in your car. FYI: They are unable to accept tips. Anyway, this service is free and amazing. It has really made life with a toddler slightly easier.

I usually shopped at this WalMart and visited the auto care center to buy 2 tires and an oil change for my minivan. I got there @ 7:45 am but they did not check me in until 8:06 (according to their records). I got the new tires & oil change. The technician asked when was the last time I had my air filter replaced. I definitely needed a new one! After waiting more than 2 hours, they were done...and there was only 1 person ahead of me! The techs placed my car in 2 different lanes (lube for the oil change) and tires, obviously for the 2 tires. All in all, not a terrible experience, but I arrived early to get in & out in a reasonable timeframe. This was not the case this time.
