I purchased a brand new 2015 Honda Accord EX-L in April of 2015. It wasnt at all what I went in to purchase, but my salesman told me to test drive it, and if I didnt like it, he would sell me what I came for. I drove the car and fell in love with it! January of 2016, as I am driving down the highway, my car just shuts off. I was able to make it to the shoulder & the car started right back up. It ran just fine afterwards. I chalked it up to being some random fluke thing and didnt worry about it again. March 2016, it happens again, and I almost get rear ended on the highway. I start the car back up and tried to drive it, and it died after about a mile. I called a local dealership (Sterling McCall in Kingwood) and spoke to Lori, and she sent a tow truck for me and had a loaner ready when I got there. They kept my car for a week and couldnt get it to duplicate the issue and everything they tested came back fine, so they told me to come pick it up. I picked my car up from them and headed to Dallas (I live in Houston). An hour into my drive, the car dies, THE SAME DAY I PICKED IT UP FROM THE DEALERSHIP. I call Lori and she waits for me and the tow driver to arrive, WELL AFTER THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS CLOSED. She set me up again with a loaner and apologized for it all. She gave me one of their brand new cars to drive that wasnt even a loaner so that I would feel safe. They hang on to my car for 2 weeks this time. They call and say they found the problem and its the fuel pump. Car is still under factory warranty, so it is no cost to me. I pick the car up after its been repaired, and it drives fine for maybe a month or so. Same thing happens AGAIN, three times in the same day with once being on the highway again, and another IN AN INTERSECTION. (This puts us in about May 2016) I call the local dealership and let them know that it is me AGAIN and I need to bring the car in. This time I spoke to Brandon and he too was very professional, and did everything he could to help me. I return my car back to them in May and July FOR THE SAME ISSUE. They have at this point replaced a battery sensor, the battery and one other repair that I cant think of off the top of my head. September 2016, my car dies again and I am almost T-boned on my passenger side of the car, which is my sons side. I was unable to make the car go initially, and once it did, my foot was NOT on the gas. It accelerated out of nowhere and almost ran me into a wall. I send it back to the dealership, AGAIN. They cant figure out what is wrong with it. I decide to call the purchasing dealership which was Honda Cars of Rockwall, and the service department told me there wasnt anything they could do if the other dealership couldnt fix it. At this point, I am beyond pissed. November 2016, my car quits AGAIN and for the millionth time almost causing me to be in an accident. I call Honda Cars of Rockwall and get Sean in the service department. I explain to him what has been going on with the car he tells me he would love to take a look at the car and finally fix it for me. Monday after Thanksgiving I have my husband drive the car to Dallas, and it drives just fine on the way up there. He leaves it and they keep the car until December 30th. I pick it up and they have done a software update on the car hoping that is the issue. I drive it back to Houston on New Years Day. February 11, 2017 I am on my way to Dallas, the car shuts off in Corsicana, Ennis, Hutchins and then for good in Garland. I call Honda Cars of Rockwall somewhere in the middle of all this and they dispatch a tow truck to come get me. They keep the car until March 18 and replace the computer in the car. March 20, I am sitting on the side of the road with the same problem AGAIN. NEVER..EVER will I purchase another Honda. I am SO, SO dissatisfied with this car. Their service techs are great, but this has been the worst purchase of my life.

I tend to hate buying cars at large dealerships because I have had bad experiences before. I found this dealership through an online service that helped me try and find someone to finance my vehicle purchase. I was put in contact with this dealership via email and phone correspondence. During said communication, I was told by both the online service and the dealer that I had been approved for an auto loan of up to $35,000; all I had to do was come into the dealership. I figured that maybe this dealership would be different from others I have been to, so I went there at 10:30 am. I dealt with a salesman for about an hour and a half to two hours, at which point he pulled up an SUV. He told me that this vehicle was the only one that they could get for me. So we test drove it, and upon returning to the dealer, he guided me to the waiting area and had me wait. I looked at their used inventory while I was waiting and found cheaper vehicles. When I asked him about why they were trying to stick me into something more expensive he said something along the lines of "the bank charges us more to finance people with worse credit" (way to care about your customers). He then came back and told me that it would be pretty hard to get financing unless I had a co-signer and walked off again. He came back maybe 5 minutes later, handed me my keys and said "thank you", and walked off again. Thinking that perhaps he was going back to deal with more paperwork or something of the like, I waited in the waiting area for almost another hour until I talked to a manager. The salesman then came back to me and said that they wouldnt be able to do anything to get me financed unless I had another co-signer or more money to put down... So I had spent almost 4 hours here under the false premise that I was approved for an auto loan and would be able to get a vehicle. The only reason why I came to the dealer was because I was supposedly already approved. This makes me glad I didnt purchase a car from them; if they cannot be clear and concise when it comes to communication in advertisement and financing, I hate to think of what wouldve happened if I had purchased a vehicle here. I will not be doing any business here in the future, and neither will any of my friends and family. Looks like Ill just have to save up money to pay for a car outright; at least that way I can be sure of whats going on.

Horrible, Awful Liars, worst experience - do NOT go there - trust me any dealership is better than these lying crooks. I scheduled an appointment yesterday to look at a used CR-V and Joshua was my sales rep. My husband was not with there with me to sign off and it was his signature they needed, I was the co-applicant but they went ahead and filled out all the paperwork saying the sale would be final when my husband came in to sign off. My husband was not with me at the dealership last night to sign off and he told Joshua that he was not signing anything until he saw the car and numbers. Sean (Finance Manager) told me to take the care home for the night so my husband can see it and get a feel for it. My husband did not like the car, he said it was over priced and had to many cosmetic flaws. I return the CR-V first thing in the morning and they refused to give me my car back. Waldo (Manager) said I signed off on a power of attorney form last night and the car belongs to them, he was very arrogant and highly rude. Joshua was telling me I needed to get my belongings out of my Hyundai because it belongs to them and to leave in my CR-V. I told them I dont own this car and my husband is not because he is not buying a car he doesnt want - therefore I dont own the car. I had to call my sister to pick me up while I was waiting in the lobby and Joshua had the nerve to tell me to hurry up and leave (I guess they werent pleased that I was crying in the lobby with my toddler son asking why are you crying mommy). I finally had enough of the bully tactics and told Joshua I need you to give me my Hyundai back so I can leave and he said he cant do that and I replied thats fine Im going to call the police. Five minutes later the Officer shows up, I told him what is going on, I show him the title to my Hyundai, he says give me a few minutes and let me see what I can do. A few minutes later another manager I have never met, shows up with the keys to my CAR - praise the LORD for this Police Officer saving the day. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE CROOKS. Im forever thankful for the Officer that settled the situation with these losers! Its pathetic that I had to call the cops to get my car back because they were too busy using bullying tactics and trying scurry me out of the building PLEASE DON"T WASTE your time with these crooks.
