I had a nightmare experience purchasing my vehicle from this dealership. I wont disclose the name of my salesman, he was a good guy. I came in to purchase a vehicle and agreed on a price. I left a deposit to pick up the car the following Tuesday. I checked out the car and noticed a huge dent on the hood that was not there when I agreed to purchase the vehicle. I told my salesman about this, and he had his manager, Mike, to take a look at it. Mike did not even bother to apologize to me or speak to me. I generally purchase the majority of my cars at one of the Park Place dealerships in the DFW metroplex. My salesman told me they would take care of it. I lived an hour and a half away and I was in need of a car immediately. I took the car and told them that I would bring it back once they had a loaner available to give to me. The salesman said he would call me to let me know when one would be available. A whole week went by and I didnt hear anything back. I called him, and he was such a hassle to get ahold of every single time I attempted to reach him. I would usually have to call 4-5 times to get ahold of him. He said a loan car would be available next week but he would be on vacation and said to just bring it through the service drive. I drove to the dealership the following Wednesday and the service department had no loan cars available. I was furious and had to berate them to make it right. Does anyone communicate in this dealership? The car took about 2-3 days to fix and finally Mike (the manager) contacts me and says the car is ready. I go to pick up the car and service has no idea where they keys are so I have to go to Mike to get my keys (keep in mind I have still yet to have any face to face interaction with him). He is standing across the dealership and tells one of his salesmen to get the key for me. Seriously? He completely lacked any professionalism. He wasnt man enough to ever come and talk to me and apologize. It was flat out ridiculous. Any time I have had issues at the Park Place dealership the manager always comes to speak to me and apologize. I took the car home and a week later my salesman calls me and says they didnt do a state inspection on the car. I thought it was a joke, this dealership does not operate very well. My salesman asked if I could go and get a state inspection done and they would reimburse me for it. I had to waste my time going to get one and then fax it off to them. It was a horrible experience and I would not recommend purchasing a car though here. You may pay a bit extra at an upper tier dealership, but the experience, professionalism, and service is worth the extra money. I learned my lesson.

Everything at the end of this epistle is true. Before and during the sale, the best you could ask for. Unfortunately, I dont think "Certified" means much to them. My car was delivered with a weak clutch. I thought it may be me, but it was confirmed when I went locally for my first oil change at the Chevrolet dealership. So I called Heritage to see if they would help, since the local dealer informed me that "certified" didnt cover a clutch. Turns out GM has a huge document they give dealers that details it, but the paperwork they give the customer has a list of exclusions of which the clutch is not listed. But thats another story. Service manager admitted the previous owner was an older guy that probably "rode" the clutch, but no love offered at all in the way of correcting the problem. So, I can only surmise the service tech that certified the car just did a machine gun checklist and didnt really check much of anything. Jace, my sales guy I really liked, no help at all. So, the gist of this is buyer beware, and more bought education for me. It is a beautiful car, and the good news is I dont drive it hard enough to where the clutch really slips, but still- - - I expected more of a "stand behind the car" attitude. Certified is buying me nothing except 4 free oil changes. I shopped a 1500 mile radius, looking for a nice used Atomic Orange 08 or newer Corvette. GM Certified. Its hard buying "a pig in a poke) so to speak, but Jace (sp?) was great to work with. Took extra pics of spots on the car I thought may be troublesome cosmetically, was totally honest in his description and assessments. The transaction went through smoothly, as Robert (GM), Misty and Nancy all helped with the paperwork and easing my anxiety. They even arranged shipment of the car to me, for about the cost of my purchasing a ticket to fly to them. Filled the car with gas, put 60 day Texas tags on it, and I was good to go.

This will be the first review Ive ever written, and Its hard to know where to start on the experience weve had with this dealership, but I guess well go chronologically. I started out buying an Acadia Denali that I knew was at least 3k over priced. My wife was set on this car, and the other was located in arlington which was considerably further. I wish that I had just made the drive, or simply gone down the road because that was only the beginning. I noticed when I bought the car it already needed new windshield wipers which shouldve been a red flag to me that they missed other minor things. They sure did... this car needed new tires fairly quickly, had a $300 headlight blow around 7 months into owning it. The leather on the inside drivers door started to de-laminate quickly as well, for some reason this 2013 model had just had enough of texas sun already. Those were really the minor things, the big things began around month 14 of owning it. It had stalled on me once or twice in the past but a few months ago it stalled on my wife on sunday, then on me the following day. I had to have it towed into the dealership only to find out it had what I was told was an 8k repair on the transmission and an engine mount that had already corroded to the point of needing to be replaced. Now were at about month 16 of ownership and we have some sort of emission sensor that is out, and the steering wheel is shaking. My fear is we bought a lemon, and these people have essentially hung us out to dry on this car. I realize that from time to time you just have a bad egg in some of these cases but it just seems to me that if I could go back in time, one of the main things I would change is not purchasing this vehicle or from this dealer. BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE, and if you do buy here, make sure you know what youre getting into.
