My childhood store and more, this location always has the chillest, realest employees out of any gamestop Ive been to! They recognize and get to know regulars as well as giving each and every customer their full attention and help. I recommend this store at work and out and about, other stores (southlake location) have quantity covered but the people there seem like they dont even know what a N64 is!! Ill always shop here and at the stores these employees have moved onto, for me its an individual appeal rather than "I want videa gmaes right NOW" I want to feel as though Im talking to a friend behind the counter not a redbox.

They say they buy phones..... I was quoted $103 for my old phone yesterday. Its worth $150 to $200 online, (used and in good condition, I like to compare apples to apples) but they have to make a profit and I understand that. Brought the phone in today and the associates commented on how nice I had kept it and said I would get top dollar. They tested the phone and it passed with flying colors. Final offer: $28...... Thanks for lying to the face of a customer that has been loyal to the brand for years. Not going back, ever.....

When we went to trade in a Wii a few years old, they would only give us $3 because, and I quote : "Theres a lot of stuff missing." Really? And we had a game we didnt want that was still brand new in plastic. They said "We and cant take a new game." Wow!... And we have them around 20 games and we got $9.86 back. This is the worst experience Ive ever had while trading some stuff in. I will most likely return to this GameStop once or twice ever again.

Ive been to many gamestops and even worked at a few as well. Aside from the ones where I worked and knew the employees well, this GameStop has excellent customer service. I wasnt berated with "do you want our pro card, what about this?! And that?!" The man I had service from was incredibly nice and relatable. We chatted for a bit in the empty store while I checked out, it was a nice change of pace for normally busy gamestops.

These guys,and gals are on top of their games in Roanoke! They are very helpful,and friendly! I live to closer Gamestops but prefer and will always make the drive to Roanoke! Great job guys!
