Very poor communication! I took my broken weed eater in for repairs almost 6 weeks ago! Was told to expect 2-3 weeks for repair. After 3 weeks I called and they couldnt find record of my weed eater in the log. Said theyd check the work room and call me back. After 3 hours, no call. When I called them back they said they had located it but work hadnt been started yet. Today I called and left message for the manager in repairs. No call back. When I called and asked for a different manager who could look into it, I was passed around to 4 people before finding out that my device had been repaired and they were sorry nobody had contacted me or kept me updated to the fact that they were waiting on a backordered part. I understand backorders, its the lack of followup and communication that upsets me. In the future I will not use this location for Stihl repairs. There are other Ace Hardware stores nearby, I will use one of them AND, I recommend that others do the same.

I find this a nice alternative to Home Depot and Lowes. They might not have as much in stock, but they do have all that a good hardware should have. Unlike in the big chains its easier to find someone to help you out, and precisely because of its smaller size its easier and faster to park and go get what you need. Plus, they have that "secret" post office in the back... theres never much of a line there.

Ace hardware in North Dakota is not providing survival goods for residents/protesters against the pipeline. Ppl please research this info. Its true. This is backed up by the Ace corporate. Is time to Boycott Ace Hardware I will not longer buy anything from here.
