There are some pros and cons to Costco. Overall the customer service is better, some premium items, a cleaner look, more coupons, yada yada yada. The downsides include: smaller inventory (they dont carry baking powder which my wife needed in a hurry), a nauseating focus on organic products (some items are organic only), lousy business hours (they dont open till 10 and on Saturday they close at 6pm). I had an overlap in my Sams Club and Costco membership for 7 months or so and I did most of my shopping at Costco due to the fact its a nicer store and I work nearby. If I wasnt at work however I would go to Sams Club due to the close proximity or the far superior hours. My membership will be up in February or so and I am on the fence as to whether I want to stay with Costco or go back to Sams Club. If there was a location closer to the Clear Lake area / they had better hours I definitely would stay with Costco, but Im leaning towards going back to Sams as they allow better store access.

Called this morning because I needed new tires before I take a cross country trip this week. Told them my tire size, picked some out and made an appointment for this afternoon. When I got to the store, they only had record of my appointment and no record of what I ordered. They helped me pick out a new set that were the WRONG SIZE. I waited an hour for them to call me and tell me I had the wrong size despite the fact that I had told them the correct size earlier. The price difference was over $120 and I wouldnt pay it. The offered to order me a set that was only $60 more expensive but they wouldnt arrive until after I left for my trip. They wouldnt adjust the price of tires they had in stock that would fit my car despite THEIR error. I normally love Costco, I lived in WA for 4 years and Costco is king there, but the Costco in Pearland falls quite short. I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone, especially if you need a new set of tires.

Its a new recently opened Costco, an alternative to Sams club, and its really nice. I like the layout of the short, its big and clean and well maintained you can tell. The staff are very helpful and there to assist you. Products they sell are almost always great and the Kirkland Signature branded products fare fairly well compared to their name brand counterparts. Really like the clothing they have and the furniture. Compared to other Costcos Ive visited in the past around Houston area, the traffic at this location doesnt compare. There arent many people which depending on how you take it it can be a good or bad thing. Possible causes Id assume to be a factor are location, its somewhat far from where everything is happening, town center, other shops, and then undeveloped area, for now. Im sure itll pick up traffic once more restaurants, shops, buildings are constructed around.

I came to this location twice in the last two days and spent a fairly good amount of time here. I have noticed that the selection and quality is much better than a competing warehouse store nearby. Also this store is a lot cleaner than some others I have noticed. I made a few purchases and I am quite pleased with what I got but my only gripe with this store is the lack of payment options at the register. Basically they only accept cash, check, American Express, or debit. I understand the reasoning behind not accepting all major credit cards but seriously that is an I conscience and I almost was not able to make my purchase today if I had not found my debit card that I never use hidden deep in my wallet. Overall the selection is very good, quality is good, customer service is good, but lacking in better payment options.

The main reason for getting the EXECUTIVE membership were the perks and I really wanted to use the OPTICAL department. Went there twice so far. Once, because on the website it states they use Davis Vision discounts and the go to all the trouble to find frames only to find out they are out of network. Then decide to come back the next day and go without insurance, start measurements and everything. She stops and say she misread the computer and the can only fill a prescription of 8.00 and mine is 8.50. Maybe I can call my DR and change the prescriptions. REALLY? Also think in the bakery and frozen the other warehouse beats them. May have to renew my Sams and I was so looking forward to Costco. My boss used to rave about it.

On a Saturday afternoon. Needed a few things from another competitor down the way. Parking lot was crowed. Having a conversation about the craziness of what we were about to encounter. Hubby decided to head to Costco. Parking lot was full. But some how the traffic going in and out of the store didnt seem so crazy. We purchased the executive membership. We shopped for a few things and left. But the experience was wonderful. People were pleasant. I didnt have anybody bump their cart into me and look at me with disgust for being in their way! Love the selection of products. I dont have to fight the crazy traffic to get their either. Love Costco.

Do you like to be yelled at while youre walking through the entrance? If you do then the lady that works there would love to oblige. She worked as a greeter around noon this Saturday. I understand the whole concept of membership here but believe it or not, you wont be able to buy things without a membership card or gift card here. Yelling at customers is not the right way to go about checking for memberships. Other than that, this location is new nice and pretty clean. The rest of the staff were kind and courteous. It might not be her fault but its a shame to have someone that wasnt raised any better be a door greeter.

I think a friend of mine said it best when he said, "Id drive past a Sams Club to go to a Costco." This being my first Costco, I cant say they are all like this, but I have to say I totally understand why he said that. There are two reasons to join one of these big warehouse stores: price and selection. Price is generally comparable between the two stores, but Costco wins on selection hands down. The produce is superior, the meat is second to none, and you can even get a good portion of your items certified organic without paying a fortune for it, which is a big win for us.

Me parece una tienda muy completa donde se puede encontrar la mayoría de cosas.que podamos necesitar para el hogar. Y pues cada vez que voy me enamoro de los muebles que tienen. Sólo que hay un detalle Sólo me falta el dinero para alcanzar el costo de ellos. Definitivamente ME ENCANTA !!!!

Brought Kirkland block cheese on 12/26/2016 and opened it next day; guess what? It had mold on it!!! The manager Thomas was rude when I complained about it. He sounded like it was my privilege that he even allowed me to return it! We normally have good experience but this really ruined it. We choose Costco because of the product quality and customer service. This time, it failed both... very disappointed!!! What made me even more disappointed was the managers indifference to their product quality and customers bad experience.
