Contacted this store regarding a return. I wanted to request that they hold an item so that I could return and exchange the defective item I had for one they had in stock still. The associate, however, never let me get my questions fully to him. I had already spent 30 minutes on the phone with Costco Member Services, knew they had the item in stock, and I knew when I could come to get it. After interrupting me several times over the course of 5 minutes, (telling me that I must have bought the display product, when I didnt, that I could always just get something else, that I should call Member Services, Call Tech support, etc) I finally was able to ask the question. His response? "Oh, well we cant hold an item longer than an hour" which is less time than it would take for me to drive there. If Id been able to ask my question without interruption, he could have answered immediately. He was rude on top of that.

Ive heard of a lot of people who worked here and they treat their employees like slaves. Their supervisors and management act like their part of unites states government. They dont care about heir employees. I would say this is the Walmart of wholesale shopping. The people and environment that they have acquired at this location is absolutely absurd. Their not a team of employees. Yes their prices are decent on certain items but I WILL NOT SHOP AT A STORE in which they treat their employees like they are disposable pieces of garbage. Ive heard plenty of workers getting some type of status and then saying derogatory, condescending and hurtful statements to their co-workers. Not only have I seen it shopping there but also know that from multiple employees of this place, If you are about change in the United States of America then I would highly suggest another location and or different wholesale club.

Store is always clean and well managed. Sams club feels like a 3rd world country after going to Costco. My only complaint is that they dont carry the Cuervo Margarita mix anymore. They used to, and now they carry their own brand which is SO disgusting that I returned it after I tried it the first time. Other than that the place is great, and theyre carrying more and more gluten free stuff which we love since Ive had a gluten allergy for half my life. I dont know why that other reviewer cares about the unfriendly checker. I know who shes talking about too! (we go there alot) As long as the checker keeps scanning stuff at their routine blinding speed I dont care HOW she looks at me, and I usually grab my own credit card back from them to slide it while theyre scanning stuff to speed the process up. What kind of diva cant scan their own credit card for crying out loud?

I purchased a Dynatrap at the Southlake, TX location after Costco was out of stock on-line. By this time the few units they still had were stuck in the middle of an aisle in the patio area. I thought I was lucky to still find one, only to discover when I opened the box at home that it had been used and was dirty, particularly the screen in the trap area, indicating considerable usage. I hope that it is not Costco policy to resell used items as "new", but even if not, someone was extremely negligent in not inspecting the returned item. On the same date of my purchase my wife came along to pick up her new glasses, only to discover that either the prescription was messed up or the bifocal fields were way off, so they would have to send them back in to be re-done. I have long been a Costco customer but this is two strikes in one day.

We like this location because it is semi-convenient but MAN IS IT BUSY! Ive not been to this location when it wasnt packed. The weekends are especially overwhelming. I wish the parking was better, they have plenty of space but due to the volume at this location it is normally a task to find a parking space. I would give it 5 stars if it wasnt as chaotic going in. Considering how many people are normally shopping here and how much volume they do its honestly not that bad but if it were more streamlined for checking out and what not they would have gotten 5 stars. If you havent eaten anything from their food court, you should! The pizza and hot sandwiches are pretty awesome. Check them out when you go in.

Me and my hubby have been a Costco members for about 6 yrs. Ive never been disappointed until we started shopping at the location in South Lake. I bought Spinach Raviolis that had mold (taken back)..this week got pre-made chicken sandwiches with Ceasars salad.. the sandwiches were terrible because the chicken was going bad and had to be thrown away. Also got pre washed baby spinach which smelled like it came from a sewer..if it was one item, I would have not complained. Their fish choices are nothing but farm raised fish....To make it even worse the guy at the register was rather not polite...what a let down.. we decided if we visit this location, will only buy none perishable goods..

I will not visit again this store, especially at member services the staff is rude and not friendly.(Mekenna G & her colleague) I have never had this kind of experience at costco for last 6-7 years, being executive member paying heavy price for membership getting cheap quality products. Have returned opened pkgs of below and she was thinking I deliberately used and returning. 1. Kirkland Walnuts, expiry is April 2017 but it stinks and not good for eating. 2.Got a bad batch of Mixed flavor oatmeal pkts (when I have opened the pkts it is dark black color) Im not sure sometimes they may behave like this by looking skin color. Srictly STAY AWAY from Southlake Costco.

I arrived at 8pm on a Thursday night with a full list of items written only in my mind. Immediately and methodically I started working the aisles of the store. The store was not very busy but there were short lines at checkout because there were only 3 or 4 registers open. The only employee I had contact with other than the cashier, made a point to offer me boxes as they were running low at the checkout area. I made it to checkout about 8:40 pm and had a short wait. What I think was the best example of customer service was the fact that I never heard any kind of announcement about the store closing! The checkout employees were helpful and cordial.

Not too hard to find parking, all time favorite hotdogs, clean warehouse Do not get the water delivery service. Their service is a joke. Had to switch out cooler several times because of malfunction and they keep bringing refurbished/preowned cooler. Tried cancelling service and their time of window is anywhere between 8-5 and they want me to stay home all day with no text notification. Even cable companies dont do that these days. I emailed them I cant be there while Im working and they emailed not to worry because theyll contact me. Still they didnt keep their promise. Costco should stop selling their product

This is a great costco. All the good stuff, a separate dairy section, and excellent staff. The front end Supervisors do an excellent job keeping cashiers quick and efficient, and cashiers are nice when they have time, speedy when the flow is high. My only complaint is something that Costco cant control - and that there is a certain type of member.... you know what Im talking about.......... the kind that comes and eats about 5 samples and walks away. I wont say what Im thinking, but you know what Im describing.... Every time I come by there is that type of person. But great job, Costco!!!
