We had just completed an order of about $400.00. At checkout the cashier stated that our card needed renewal. We wished to renew but at a lower level. The cashier stated that she had to renew it at the $110.00 level but we could go over to customer service and have it changed to the $55.00 level and they would refund the $55.00 difference. At customer service our agent was Kim. She was a delight. She explained that Costco pretty much guarantees the difference. Unfortunately last year we only received a $44.00 check. She explained that she would refund the $110.00 and reinstate us at $55.00 which we could pay for and in addition refund us the $11.00 that we were owing from last year.I was impressed by her professionalism knowledge etc. So why the one star? To complete this transaction she needed a manager. She called for one and we waited. Finally Jeni arrives talking and joking with another girl behind the counter. She is barely paying attention to what is going on. Kim completes the refund, then reinstates the new lower level membership and Jeni is gone. so we wait again. The manager must put a key in or something for the transaction to complete. Finally another manager arrives and the transactions are done. I was amazed at how little support Jeni provided. A simple question like "are you good now" to Kim would have sped this process up by at least 10 minutes. This is not a big deal but I was just amazed at the difference in quality between the agent Kim and her support Jeni. One belongs in customer service and is a credit to your store. The other, I think needs a lesson in people responses and perhaps a reminder that the customer is important. It was her lack of deference to us standing there and she did even acknowledge the agent, never mind the customer. We might as well had not been there as she stared right past us continuing her interaction and her giggling with another person behind the counter. I wonder if her having to be called serves any purpose other than to remind your customers of how insignificant they are. So a five star rating for Kim, and the box boy at the checkout (sorry did not get his name)...who were pleasant and had great people skills and four star removed for this manager. It is the poor interaction that sticks in ones memory.

My wife and I signed up for a Costco Membership in November of 2016. We turned over both of our Drivers Licenses so that we could BOTH be on the account (Remember that detail for later). We only took one HOUSEHOLD Card because it was easier for us. We were assured that, even though my picture was on the card, my wife could use it since it was a HOUSEHOLD Card. Fast forward to today. My wife, like she has done numerous times in the past, goes to the Costco Sheridan location for some items. She shops, gets to the register and is told that she cannot checkout because she is not on the membership account. She informs them of what happened when we signed up but to no avail. Speaks to a supervisor/manager who informs her that she is not on the account and is not allowed to shop there. She will have to leave the items at the register and leave the store. This is all done in front of God and everyone at the cash register. They did allow my wife to take a picture of the items so that I would know what to get when I come back. My wife left the store crying, humiliated. This is no way to treat customers. This is no way to treat someone who, if you check the Drivers License, is part of my immediate household. When I called to speak with the manager, she said that we could easily add my wife to the account. IF IT WAS SO EASY, WHY NOT ADD MY WIFE TO THE ACCOUNT WHILE SHE WAS THERE??? Why do you have to humiliate her in front of other shoppers??? The only thing that their manager would say is that is not the way they SHOULD be doing things and that it should definitely have been handled differently. You think?!? Avoid this location at all costs. Management is not remorseful for treating their PAYING CUSTOMERS like common criminals.

Great selection of food, and they occaisionally have some great gourmet options and an adjacent liquor store. They also carry USDA prime steaks at great prices. However, you will run into a lot of cuts, such as the beef tenderloin, with the "silver skin" still attached, and/or inconsistent thicknesses which can make cooking un even between steaks if cooking for multiple people. As a Seattle native raised on Costco/seafood, they have some really high quality fish and seafood as well. In over 5 years of shopping at this location, I have never felt compelled to return any of the fish I have bought for concerns about freshness. Other than that it is a pretty run of the mill Costco store. One BIG issue this store has is its ability to maintain its handicap parking spots/access aisles. The cart attendants often dont clear the aisles in a timely fashion depsite the ADA guidance for businesses that states they need to remove obstacles like shopping carts as soon as possible. You will literally watch cart attendants walk past the carts in the access aisles instead of clearing them. Just about everytime I go I have to find some kind of management to get them to clear them. If it werent for this issue, I would give them 4 stars.

Id really like to rate the River Point Costco a 5 stars, except for their photo department loses them 2. Im in the service industry and customer service is huge. Every single time I have had to get my photos done here, some incident arises and rather than having a kind and understanding or apologetic attitude, there is a woman there who is there most of the time that responds in shortness, rudeness, and least of all an apologetic attitude. I cannot understand how she is still working there as I cannot be the only one who has come across problems here. Literally, I have not been able to come here one single time to have a smooth transaction with just picking up some photos. Whether it be that they couldnt find the photos and my husband had to backtrack to get them or downloading problems with the kiosk (no help from her there), or ordering them online to find they werent there again. A little customer care in this department would go a long way.

Such a hassle. I couldve have just bought my tires at discount tires. Same thing! Just needed a rotation for the warranty and some stupid nitrogen in my tires! Called yesterday and they said to come early and they will "get me in and out", I came at 7am but they dont open until 8. But then I was told one hour and a half? To rotate tires? Come yall tell me one thing and the next it something different! Really? Get it together. Wasting my time! Could have been sleeping! They didnt open until 805! Thanks Dan!

Its a Costco, its got what Costco usually has - cheap gas, good value on bulk household items, decent (but not always the best) prices on proteins and produce, and those nice salespeople giving you free stuff to keep you going. Come here for some of the essentials, but make sure to supplement your refrigerator with some of the products from great local businesses too. Sometimes I think that Costco could add just a little more character, and not be a stereotype of modern consumption.
