I went in Sept. to buy a diesel truck. After speaking to a sales person who showed me around everything was going great. Gave him my price range and we found a truck that fit my needs. While driving the truck in the test drive, I heard a thumping sound and was assured that it just needed to be aligned and they would take care of it. (After they "said" they aligned it, it continued to make that sound. It turned out to be a ball CV joint and cost me 900) I am brand new to buy vehicles so when I sat down to talk about lowering the price to the NADA value, they kept telling me that they could not lower the price. We haggled over the price for a while and then the manager Woody came and talked to me. He is from my hometown so i trusted him when he said I was getting a good deal. I reluctantly agree and we went to talk to the finance manager. I told him that I wanted 18K for my 2010 F150 Lariat Crew Cab with 100K miles on it. He punched in his numbers and printed out a sheet that showed my trucks value at on 15K. He told me that was the highest value they could go and that was NADA value. Once again, being new to the whole experience, I agreed and we signed papers. Fast forward a week. I start my truck on a cold morning and notice some white smoke coming from my tailpipe. Figuring it was just because of the temperature, I disregarded it. Over the next two weeks the smoke got awful so i took it to a local diesel technician. He went through the systems and asked me how long I had owned the truck. I told him just a week and we told me that I had been screwed over. Number 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8 injectors were all way over fueling. I told him that it wasnt smoking when i purchased the truck and his best guess was that high octane fuel was added to the gas to make it burn smoke free. I was informed it was going to be a 5K fix. Needless to say, I sold the truck. I would not recommend Pollard Used Cars to my worst enemy! This was the worst car buying experience of my life!

This place doesnt even deserve the one star, but I had to give one to write a comment. This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The day we went to get the car they were quick to come out to see what we wanted, but had us sitting in there waiting for 3 hours. We werent able to drive away that day since it was after closing hours for the insurance company. The next day we sat at the insurance company for an hour before they would bring rhe car over so they could take pictures. The morning after we were able to get the car I took it to get check and ended up paying 550 for brakes and rotors, belts shocks....they told me the air conditioner did not work because the air compressor was out. The belt was completely gone. When they put one on and turned on the air conditioner sparks started flying and burned the belt completely off had the whole place smelling like burnt rubber. We took the car back to the dealership to get it fixed, the first day it wasnt fixed they said it was because they had someone else coming to look at it. Day 2 they had ordered a part. Day 3 it was the wrong part and as a matter of fact they were going to need us to pay for it 500 more dollars. This just blows my mind how they rigged the truck up enough to get it off the lot, but refuse to fix anything. Especially when it was already not working before they gave it to us. I do not and will not recommend anyone to go to this particular location.

I have bought 2 cars from Pollard Used Cars and have nothing but good to say about them. Felix Hernandez is a good salesman he made sure I was taken care of every time. I was buying a mustang from them and some dummy wrecked into it totaling it while parked and I was working some people just cant drive. I had literally made 2 payments on it I called Felix and he told me to come in and we would get me something else. Now please keep in mind I had used all my money down on the last one and had nothing else to put down. But Felix and Cameron worked their butts off and I ended up with an even newer mustang with less miles yeah my payments went up a lil like 50 dollars or so but I consider it an even trade off. Even right now as im writting this review I am still in talks with Felix and he is searching for a affordable mustang for my son. One time a deal fell through but that had nothing to do with any of the staff it was a bank issue and I wont blame anyone for that cause they worked hard on that deal as well. As I said I personally have nothing but good to say about Pollard Used Cars I send everyone I know looking for a car their way. If you want a good deal on a car go see Felix Hernandez he can get the job done

Pollard is not the place to go if you count on someone to give you their word and mean it. Neither is it the place to go if you believe a handshake when making a deal still means something. After purchasing a used 2005 F-250 not quite 3 weeks ago its been parked in our garage for over a week now. It starts fine but will not restart when hot. After making many attempts with the seller and service repair shop "there is nothing we can do". We were assured the oil was changed and everything was in working order upon taking the truck home. After taking out the filter we found that the oil had indeed not been changed. Clearly, Pollard Ford has been making fools of hard working Texans for sometime and they care nothing more than making a sell. So, today we have a truck parked in our garage which will not run therefore, we can not use it for work, we are still in debt to the bank, and they cant help us because its our fault we were dumb enough to trust in them.

I highly do not recommend this place my friend bought a car from here was promised that everything was going to get taken care of that was wrong with the car and two months later shes only drove the car twice its been sitting at the car lot because they cannot fix the issue correctly every time she leaves with the car and they say that its fixed its not and the sad part is is the guy that sold the car to her cant even speak with her directly he scared to talk to her hell either text her or have his boss talk to her which is fine the whole his boss talking to her but honestly you went out there and sold his car to her why cant you be a man and talk to her about the issue its the hiding behind your desk this is a terrible car lot I dont recommend it to anyone please dont do it go somewhere else like Frank Brown
