Would recommend driving a little further out to World Car Mazda or North Park Mazda. My boyfriend came here for an oil change on his Mazda and at the time I was considering purchasing a CX-3, but hadnt test driven one yet (and hadnt made up my mind). The salesman came out and I was upfront with him - Im here with my boyfriend, Im not interested in buying today, but Id like to take the CX-3 out for a test drive to help me make a decision if you have time. I cant remember the gentlemans name I was dealing with, but Id already poured a ton of research into the car, so I knew exactly what I wanted to look at. I was really just conflicted over what color I wanted! The car salesman would not. stop. talking. He talked a mile a minute and about a lot of things I just didnt care about, and he wouldnt let me just play with the infotainment system like I wanted to. It was GREAT he was knowledgeable, but he was just way too pushy for someone who was saying they werent interested in buying that day. After the test drive (which was completely amazing and the reason Im giving this 2 stars rather than 1), he ushered my boyfriend and me to his office to talk about pricing. Despite the fact that I was telling him I wasnt interested in buying today he still went to get a manager. After introductions, because Im a polite person and we were still waiting on the oil change to be done, the first thing this manager asked me was how much I wanted to pay a month! I almost laughed in his face. For anyone unaware, when they ask you how much you want to pay monthly, its part of a scam. Never negotiate monthly payments with a car dealership, always walk in knowing your max budget and tell them thats how much you want to pay for the car. Lots of dirty tricks in just the 15 minutes I spoke with the manager who immediately started throwing rebates and active duty military discounts at me. I was not interested in buying and after this case, I was almost totally turned off from buying a Mazda. But just so you know, if you want a Mazda, all the dealerships in San Antonio basically share inventory - you can go to any dealership and ask them to bring you the specific car you want. I would be wary of these people, and if you plan on going here, know your stuff first.

IPAC Mazda delivers a personable sales experience. If youre in the market for a Mazda, see my salesman Daniel Cardenas and sales manager Pablo Serna. I went to the dealership a couple of times while I was shopping for my new car. On my first trip there, Daniel took me for a test drive and highlighted the features of the car. Not only is Daniel very knowledgeable, but he also proved to be very patient as I asked a lot of questions. Professional and respectful, Daniel made sure I had the information I needed. I met with Pablo shortly after and we talked pricing. Now, heres where it gets good... obviously, they want to sell cars, BUT, I didnt get the typical in-your-face, gotta do a deal right now, hard sell approach. Most dealerships are desperately trying to force the prospective buyers into an impulse buy. Not the case here. Daniel and Pablo have faith in the Mazda cars, and they want you to feel comfortable with the sales experience and be happy with your purchase. So, I left that night to think about it and do some research. After that, I test drove some other cars:Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, Chrysler 200, KIA Optima, Hyundai Elantra, and the Hyundai Sonata Sport. In the end, it came down to the Accord or the Mazda 6, but none of the other cars, including the Accord, gave me the driving experience I had with the Mazda 6 i Touring model. So, almost 2 weeks after I had initially been to the dealership, I returned. I had done my research, and it pointed to the Mazda 6 being the one I wanted. The best kind of sales experience is one thats personable, and although Daniel hadnt seen me since my first visit, he instantly recognized me and remembered what I was looking for. We went out on another test drive, which reconfirmed my analysis of the Mazda 6 being the best drive, and then talked dollars with Pablo. As a customer, you want to feel youre (1) getting great value for your money, (2) are treated with respect, and (3) getting a fair deal. IPAC Mazda delivered on all three. Daniel and Pablo are both personable and want you to be happy with your purchase. I love my new Mazda 6, and highly recommend it and IPAC Mazda! 5 Stars for a great experience and a great new car!

I called the dealership early Saturday morning and spoke to Amy Erickson, a salesperson. She was really cool and set up an appointment for later that morning. I arrived at the dealership later than planned, but was quickly greeted by a sales person as soon as I got out of my old truck. I told him I had an appointment with Amy. He shook my hand and escorted me inside where Amy was paged. Unfortunately Amy was already tied up with another customer. Which was understandable, I was late after all. She introduced me to another salesman Manny Khodayari, who was friendly, helpful and really knew his inventory! I told him I was looking for one of those cool Mazda3s and he promptly took me to the lot where he proceeded to show one in every color available! I test drove one and was really happy with the cars performance. I wanted it! Manny then walked me around the dealership to meet all the different people in the departments that I’d be dealing with, when I brought in the car for the various services they offer there. Everyone was really nice and friendly! It felt genuine. I then met with Sales Manager Robert Reyes. We crunched the numbers and arrived at a comfortable one. I then walked over to Stephen Duff’s (finance manager) office where all the paperwork was explained to me and I was informed of all the freebies! (While I was told earlier that my 12 year old clunker trade in was only valued at five hundred bucks, Stephen informed me that it was now worth double that! I was pleasantly surprised to say the least!) My favorites were the year of free wash tub service, the free Roadside service for me and anyone driving the car! But most of all, I cant wait for my free IPAD! I was in and out in about 3 hours. Not the usual 6 or 7 hour ordeal I’ve gone through in other dealerships. It’s been about a week and Im still riding high on those "new car smell" fumes. Overall, it was a great experience. I will recommend Manny and IPAC MAZDA to anyone looking for a great car buying experience. Thank you Manny, Amy, Robert and Stephen for all you did for me.

I would like to say thank you and job well done IPAC MAZDA. We recently traded our sons Jeep Commander in for a 2013 Mazda 3. My wife did most of the leg work on this trade and was very impressed with how nicely she and my son were treated. She was very complimentary of the Sales Consultant, Brandon Livingston. Since my signature was required on some paperwork she said I should have Brandon show me around since we were also thinking of trading my Hummer in. Upon my arrival to the dealership i was greeted in the parking lot as i pulled in and directed where to park. They also escorted me into the building and and had the receptionist page Brandon. Everyone was very cordial and efficient. Brandon arrived and escorted me to Stephen Duff the Finance Managers office. Stephen too was very cordial and had all the paperwork ready for me to sign. After signing, Brandon showed me around the lot. He walked me through a variety of makes and models that Mazda had to offer and was very knowledgeable about each accessory that the different models came with. Needless to say I was very impressed, relaxed and stress free. I met Eddie Sanchez the Sales Manager who was very friendly and hoped that when I got ready to trade my Hummer would give them a call. Brandon and i set up an appointment to have my Hummer appraised and to start the paperwork for a trade in. The entire process went very quickly and we soon came to an agreement on price. I decided on a CX5 Grand Touring with Tech Package in Liquid Silver and as luck would have it my vehicle was on a truck headed to the dealership. They took my 2006 Hummer off my hands and loaned me a CX5 to drive until mine arrived. My CX5 arrived the next day and Brandon walked me through the vehicle explaining how things worked. He also helped me set up the Nav system, Bluetooth, Radio, and SiriusXM satellite which I got a 4 month free trial. Thanks IPAC MAZDA for making me feel like family.
