I DO NOT recommend buying a car from this dealership, and here is why. If I could give less than one star, I would. It was not just the added expense onto a car I already paid more than fairly for; it is the hard knock lesson I received when I was baldly lied to about things that could kill me, and other people. I bought an SUV from this dealership at the end of December. I am going to lay out my experiences issue by issue, as I discovered the problems that the car came with. All of this has happened within the two months of buying this vehicle from a man who claimed to only sell high end automobiles, and was too much of a family man to sell a single lady a car that would leave her stranded in this big city. At the start of the test drive the car would not start. It was explained to me that it had been sitting for a few weeks, and the battery was low on juice. I was assured that they would replace the battery before I left. One month later during the first freeze I was stranded as the battery died completely. Upon inspection, it became obvious that the battery had not been replaced as promised. When I test drove the vehicle, the gas gauge was on empty, and the low fuel light was on. I was told that this was because they hadnt filled it up recently. After I left the lot and went directly to a gas station and filled the tank, I saw that the fuel gauge was still indicating an empty tank, and the light wasnt going off. This proceeded to come on and off at random, and the gauge would rise and fall randomly as well, until I replaced the part. The part is not just the gauge; as it is a model with the gauge built into the fuel pump, I had to replace that- a much more expensive part to replace. This was especially distressing to deal with, as I didnt know this was a precursor for the whole pump to go out, which happened while I was driving down the highway in evening traffic, requiring a 50 mile tow home. The sunroof motor died within the week after buying the vehicle, and the radio/stereo has refused to turn on for 5-10 minutes at a time, at least twice, and something in the back area is leaking randomly after it rains. There were two tires that needed replacing as soon as I drove it off the lot. One was dry rotted and the other was the wrong size! It was too large and pulling the vehicle to one side. The rear shocks had to be replaced, as well as the front struts, being completely blown out. The rear windshield wiper arm was completely gone. While I acknowledge that there some things I should have caught; I am a first time car buyer, which I explained to the head honcho, who helped me through the process. All of this might have been seen by a mechanic, if I had the money to hire one to look at every car I was interested in, but I dont. I cant believe that that is the only way to be assured you wont be in danger of serious injury from a faulty product. As-Is contract be damned. On top of it all, when I called a few days before my paper plates were to go out, to ask when my plates would be arriving in the mail (they had assured me that they would mail them along as soon as they got them from the state), I was told they had been sitting in a pile on someones desk for a few weeks. This was while my car was out due to the fuel pump, so I told them to mail them to me ASAP. A week goes by, then two. I call the post office to make sure Im not being impatient. Then I call the dealership. Oh, they are still on my desk; Ill mail them right out. No, thanks. I got them myself after fixing all the things wrong with my precious new (to me) car. On top of all of that, the check engine light came on again this morning. Stay tuned for the next installment of Whats wrong with my new car?"

I had been searching for a Camaro, After talking to one of the Managers (Eric) on the phone 5+ times, explaining that I already had a pre-approval through my bank etc. He told me to come down and test drive the car, as well as 1 other I was interested in. Once I got there, he sent his Internet manager "Greg" to meet me outside, he then explained that they could not let me test drive the Camaro due to the performance mods and its the owners policy. After some conversation, him being persistent to run my credit and try to get me an approval (even though I already had one and he was aware of this) sitting there in the office by myself for more than 30 min...Eric finally came in, with an approval on the car that I was not even interested in (after Greg said he would change it to the Camaro) I explained again that I had a better approval, and I drove all the way to Humble to test drive the Camaro.... Finally I was able to test drive it, not for very long as it was already past closing time. Agreed on the price of $19,500 for the car, Including a few body repairs, and new tires on the rear since they were bald and an engine tune which needed to be done. Greg sent me a buyers order which was forwarded to my bank. Myself and my bank was under the impression that the car would be completed by the following Thursday, for another test drive and pick up on Friday minus the body work, which I would have to bring it back. They would not let me take the car to have my mechanic check it over, and when I called to schedule a time for my mechanic to come to their shop, Greg was very short with me and very difficult to talk to, made me feel like he did not have time to work with me. After calling, and texting cell phones, and calling cell phones I finally received a response via text the next day that the supercharger bearings were no good, and possible motor damage - Eric explained that he could not sell the unit in that condition and they were not going to fix it and it would be sold at auction. I searched and found another car with 60,000 miles less, for the same price. That dealer let me take the car to my mechanic, and offered a warranty. Man am I glad that Loan Star Motors made up that excuse to not sell the car to me. Its honestly not mainly about the car, Greg talked to me like he did not have time to deal with me as a customer - I seen all the good reviews and know someone that bought 4 cars from here with no issues....But wow what happen?!?!

Ok I dont understand the bad reviews with this company, but here is mine. I got a Hummer H2 from these guys and it was the best experience Ive ever had with a dealership. All dealerships tell you they would get you the best deal and look out for you when it comes to financing. With this company they did just that. I had my eye on a Hummer from another dealership so I went through all the financing with another dealer. After three hrs of waiting for a approval I got approved for the SUV hummer but I didnt like the terms (they wanted me to pay double what I said I wanted to put down and a shorter term). Its not like I could not afford the terms but I would rather pay less or if I was going to pay the terms I got approved for I would rather pay it on a SUT version not the SUV. So I took a day to think about it. That night I looked around for a better deal and found the SUT version I wanted at Lone Stare Motors. It was around the same price as the other so I took a chance and took the 1 hr drive to Humble to check out the Hummer. When I pulled up looking at the Hummer I knew if it drove good and they got the numbers better than the other dealership then its mine. So after driving it and looking at it, It was time for financing. The first thing I did was tell them that if they meet my terms, I will give them my business. They took about 15 minutes and I was signing paperwork for my new Hummer and drove it home. Not only did they give me the price I was looking for, they got everything done really fast compared to other dealerships, which take up the entire day. Then surprisingly, the next day I get a call from them saying they were able to negotiate a better deal with a lender. At first I didnt understand what they were talking about because I signed paperwork and the deal was done to me because I was happy with the terms and truck. So I took another ride to Loan Star Motors to see whats going on and to make a long story short I was signing a even better deal. How many dealerships do you know that after a deal is done they continue to work your file and get you a better deal. Any other company Ive got a car from would forget about you after the deal is done. These guys took that extra step and continued to look out for me after I already brought my vehicle home. Now this is excellent customer service! Ill be back for any other vehicle needs I have in the future.
