I think I visited about 12 dealerships before finally deciding on either a Hyundai Elantra or a Hyundai Sonata. The Hub and Ron Carter dealerships tried to make me commit verbally to them before negotiating a price. After a week and a half of car shopping, I was not in the mood for this game. I went straight to the Humble dealership (we visited them the week before), and Corday was very patient with me and my Dad while we asked a bunch of questions and test drove a few models. I told him what I thought was a fair price for the Sonata and trade value for my vehicle based on my research and what "the others" were willing to start offering me. He got me what I wanted in about 45 minutes and NEVER pressured me to sign that night. It was Saturday and he completely agreed that I should take some time to think about what was best for me. Maybe I was an easy mark or just fatigued from other salesmen, but after that no pressure yet eager to negotiate attitude, I was ready to sign on the spot since I was getting the deal I wanted and thought was fair. The sales director Murph is hilarious and has great stories. And the finance manager Tim had some great tips on financing options and the value of certain add ons for certain cars (low cost tinting and auto-butlering for darker exterior colors) without trying to nickle and dime me on extraneous and unnecessary services, like seat protection or pinstripes (that other dealerships MAKE you pay for in the price of their cars). Dont get me wrong, they will offer these things to you, but my experience was that they understand and respect that "no" means NO. I also like that Humble Hyundai doesnt try to lure me out there with deceptive advertising that reduces the price by deducting rebates I dont qualify for (fell for that a few times from other dealerships at the expense of gas being $3.25/gallon and my valuable time away from work - during the holidays no less). To sum it up, I recommend that anyone and everyone talk to Corday Clark (patient, knowledgeable, eager to negotiate, and no pressure) and Bob "Murf" Murphy (experienced, hilarious, and full of great car/dealership stories) at Humble Hyundai if you are looking to buy a Hyundai. I hope they are still there in 10 years when I am ready to trade up because I really do not want to go through all this shopping again when I have already found a team that works great for me. The only word of warning I have is to come in to the buying process prepared with the number you want to walk away with because, as they do not appear to be the normal sharks and snakes of the car selling business, they werent exactly desperate to make me an offer I couldnt refuse. Im pretty sure they get a lot of business from fatigued or aggravated shoppers who welcome a refreshing attitude. If you dont want to pay more than what you deem is fair, be sure to determine that number through your own research. Great service is no excuse for an unfair price because an unfair price is not great service. With that said, this place is 6 stars out of 5 stars for me! :)

This review is based on the Humble Hyundai dealership relative to the used cars inventory only. I just returned from Humble Hyundai where I looked at a 2008 H2 Hummer with 46,000 miles on it. It is currently listed on EBAY. Now I am a Hummer guy, I’ve had 2 SUTs and love them! I know every inch of the H2 2005 - 2008 SUT and was only interested in this one because of the low miles being I cant buy a new one (not manufactured anymore). My current H2 Hummer is in excellent shape (I take special care of my stuff) and it has the very same stock equipment as the Humble Hyundai 2008 Hummer H2. The only difference between mine and Humble Hyundais is mine has 81K miles and Hyundai is 46K miles. However, upon my inspection and I mean real detailed inspection there were things not listed that you interested H2 SUT Hummer buyers need to know is that the rear left driver side bumper is 1" out of place compared to the passenger side rear bumper. The hold down rubber chrome rubber hold down hood straps are so corroded the chrome was flaking off and almost cut my hand when I tried to open the hood to inspect motor compartment. The black leather seats look like they should be in my high mileage hummer and my seats which I have had seat covers on looks like they are new. The DOG HAIR which the retailer missed behind the rear seat would have choked even a horse! The door panels are missing a clip or to due to removal at one time or another. The driver-side and passenger side mirrors will not adjust because the mirror motors are trashed and need complete replacement. Even though it has relatively new tires and some fancy after market interim plastic, beware of this hummer. The retail price is $52K and the E-price is $49K. I asked to see any previous service documentation and they said they trash stuff like that and could not share or support any service work or maintenance on the Humble Hyundai 2008 H2 Hummer. They showed me the CARFAX document on the Humble Hyundai 2008 H2 Hummer and it showed it was a previously leased vehicle with a auction history starting in New Jersey. The appraisal man at the dealership looked at my H2 and said mine had issues too, I asked him what the issues are, He replied and said, you have some chrome chipping off the front brush guard. And I said yah, so what, and what else? He said, we are going to be too far apart to make a deal. I said ok and walked out. In short, the way they represent a used vehicle would or should scare the dickens out of a person. Frankly I wouldnt buy a baby stroller from that dealership, no way, no how! Lord knows what else is lingering behind the dealer detailed amoral. If any of you reading this are interested in this Humble Hyundai 2008 H2 Hummer, make sure they throw in at NO CHARGE and extended warranty. This H2 is $15K over priced, it looks like a 75K mile vehicle that smelled like dog......I have nothing against dogs, but this looked and smelled bad. I believe when they had seen mine with 81K cleaner and in better shape than their 46K H2, they just went thru the motions with me.......

Humble Hyundai is one of the best dealerships that I have ever been in. I was in search of a new car because my new one was giving me trouble. I went to several dealerships where all they did was try to seel me a car based on the lowest price but no one would listen to my actuals desires and needs. So then I decided to go back to a hyundai dealership because my previous car was a hyundai and I was pleased with it. As soon as I walked in I was greeted immediately by a salesman named Patrick Arvie. Once Patrick greeted me, he sat me down to help me decide not only what I was looking for but what I needed. I told him that I needed an economy car and I wanted as many bells and whistles as I could get. He showed me three different vehicle before I fell in love with the Hyundai Elantra. He then allowed me to choose a color so that I could test drive it. During the tes drive, of course, he explained the features of the vehicle as well as the awesome warrenty. After the test drive, Patrick sat me down again to make sure that the vehicle met the needs and desires that I had. We then had a discussion on pricing, which allowed me to make an informed decision. He did not sugar coat anything but he was able to give me so many additional discounts on top of the sales price. Patrick did not attempt to sell me things that I did not need, plus everything I wanted or needed already came with the car for free. Patrick explained the new audio system and this new thing called Android auto, which would allow whatever is on my phones screen to show up on my vehicles screen. This meant that I did not need a navigation system. He explained to me all of the service requirements and even gave me a few free coupons to help me with the first few services. After Patricks presentation and my test drive, I was very interested in purchasing the vehicle. Before purchasing the vehicle, Patrick made sure that the vehice ws cleaned and detailed thouroughly, had a full tank of gas and made sure that their were no cosmetic damages to the car. Since purchasing the vehicle, Patrick has contacted me numerous times over the past Month to make sure that everything is going ok. I almost forgot to mention that for purchasing the vehicle, they has a special where you could get a free IPAD or a free 50 inch smart TV. I chose the TV and it works great. I would definately recommend this dealership and Patrick Arvie if you get there. Everyone there is so nice and willing to help but Patrick has to be one of the best Car Salesman that I ever met. I just want to say thank you for all of you help/.
