i haveqa 2012 Camry...i have been coming here for all oil changes. Never had to look under the hood because everything was fine. Received a recall notice about the torgue and and since i need a oil changed decided to do both....OMG!!!! ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE! A young lady told me i needed a new battery....i explained i shouldnt need a battery havent had the car long. told her i would get one at a later time and to just do the oil change.....get to the counter to pay they had a put a battery in ANYWAY! told them i could not pay for it...they took it off and and put this swollen battey with acid all over. i told them this was not my battery. they said it was. mind you i never looked under my hood from my last oil change with them. my husband said they had to have taken the cap off the battery from the last oil change and never put it back on. the acid has eaten the whole baterry casing and wall of the car up..... they put the battery on and the car cut right off.....jumped it and it cut off again. jumped it again and let me leave. the car stoped on me on the feeder of the highway.....i just cried and cried. When i finally got help from my personal mechanic he just shook his head. the battery could have blown up...and it looked like it did. the post on the battery was full of acid residue......and had been eaten away. So they had put a BRAND NEW BATTERY ON AND DID NOT CLEAR AWAY THE OLD ACID GUNK FROM THE NEGATIVE AND POSITVE POST. i was so done with them for real.....they MESSED OVER ME AND LEFT ME STRANDED ON THE FEEDER OF 59 HIGHWAY IN THE COLD. NEVER AGAIN...... They where to the oly ones to ever touch my enegine...ever....and this is how it turned out. WARNING*******WARNING****** I WISH I COULD POST THE PICTURES OF HOW MY MOTOR LOOKS NOW...

Today (06/18/11) I went to Tejas Toyota car shopping with my 18 y/o daughter. We walked into Tejas Toyota and they were obviously busy so we stood and waited for someone to come assist us. While standing there waiting, a large man (salesman?) sat at his desk and more than twice looked up at me only to ignore me. After standing there about 5 minutes a male customer enters the store (I am a female and mind you we are standing right inside that door) and the large car salesman runs right over to him to ask if he could assist him. I just stood there as my jaw dropped in disbelief! I said in a raised voice, "REALLY???" I explained that I had been standing there only to be ignored and a male customer walks in and he runs right to him. This less than a man car salesman tells me that they obviously are not going to be able to help me and that I could leave! We did just that. We left and went to ROBBINS CHEVROLET where we were treated very nicely and my daughter bought a 2010 Toyota Corolla. Way to go Tejas Toyota!! Im sure Robbins Chevrolet appreciates that and the fact that it gives them more business. This was not racial discrimination as I am 42 y/o, upper middle class and white. It was very much sexual discrimination by that particular weasle. There was one car salesman who was much older who came over profusely apologizing for they way the weasle acted. The older gentleman was a sweetheart, but I want nothing to do with a business that employs people like the large weasle working for them!

Beware of service department! Had Tacoma in for a factory recall leaf spring replacement and asked the service advisor to have the mechanic visually inspect my front end as I thought I had felt some slack in my steering linkage recently, but wasnt sure. The guy called me and says I have a "MAJOR LEAK" in my rack & pinion steering. I asked how bad, and he says "the rubber boots in the system are cracked/dry-rotted and fluid is leaking out; on a scale of 1-10 its leaking at a 7". Their recommendation: replace the entire rack & pinion steering unit as a system as the labor involved to change out the cracked boots would cost more. The estimated cost? $1200!!!! My truck is 6 yrs old w/ 83K miles; I bought it new and have babied it...hardly ever on a dirt road, always garage kept, and NEVER any fluid leaks noted on my garage floor! I took it to an independent shop in Kingwood and I got under it when they put it on the rack: their suspension guy checked it out left to right and there was NO problem at all: NO leaks, NO cracks in rubber boots. The ONLY thing notable was that the power steering fluid level was low in the reservoir. So two possibilities exist: Tejas mechanics ASSUMED there was a leak because the fluid level was low, or they flat out LIED. So they are incompetent at best, thieves at worse. Given how the service tech I spoke with "embellished" the story with the cracked boots....I see no reasonable interpretation that they are anything but LIARS AND THIEVES.

Ive visited this location on three occasions and had awful experiences every time...today was the exception. From outrageously long wait times for simple oil change to bad customer service (no one knows how long itll take, cant locate my keys, cashier looks bothered by me.) When I went in last year I was please to see they had a new waiting area, but after waiting 2 1/2 hours, with three kids for an oil change, I could care less about how nice the waiting area looked. Furthermore, it wasnt until I was there for two hours that I saw a shuttle van pull up! I was livid. I couldve gone home, to lunch or shopping. No one mentioned this service and I didnt see anything posted. Make matters worse, there was a kids room with a TV and no one said "feel free to visit the playroom." Today was a whole different experience. Omar Angel, service Mgr. Greeted me with a smile and asked if Ide be waiting for my vehicle. I stated no, I went into a rant about my last experience. He assured me Id be done in one hour. My kids and I looked at some cars, played in the kids room before long Omar peeped in and told me Id be done in 10 mins! I couldve hugged the man LOL. Moms know what I mean. He later walked me to the cashier, explained to me what I did and DID NOT need on my next visit, imagine that?! I complimented him on his honesty and told him I appreciated his outstanding service. Yep, I was out within an hour, job well done.

This is place has the dumbest people and shittiest service I have gotten anywhere. I had to walk from my job one time in the middle of summer to get my car because no one new what a shuttle was there. There are things that I have payed for that is covered by my extended warranty that I am paying for every month and they said they cannot refund me. I specifically asked one time if they could check my tires to see if I needed new ones and they told me my tires were fine. Literally a week later my tire popped on me and a couple weeks later my other ones did too. I ended up javing to buy new tires somewhere close to me. I had to pay for new tires with somewhere else wheb it is covered by my warranty. Now why didnt they replace them at the dealership? Maybe because they wouldnt make any money off me? The service manager told me I had to tell them have a warranty in order for me to use it. Then he tells me they cant reimburse me and that I have to call the company I have the loan with to get reimbursed. They cant get anything right and its scary that people with such low intelligence are working on something a serious as peoples cars. I am trading my car in this weekend JUST So i dont have to deal with dealership. Its hard for me to go all the way to Conroe to Gullo so Im just going to get rid of this car and get something else.
