After leaving my yelp review Honda did call me back apologizing for the incidents. They fixed the ding in my windshield, washed and vacuumed my car free of charge in addition to my oil change. I do appreciate the honest effort they made to rectify the former situation. It seems that the best advice is to ask to speak to a manager and bypass whomever first gets on the phone. I do look forward to positive customer service experiences with Honda from this point on. ****UPDATE**** Obviously when you are buying a car they want to retain your business so they made every effort to be helpful. However. Since purchasing my vehicle in March Ive needed to call for service appts a few times. Every time I call the receptionist is horribly rude. Im sure they have multiple receptionists but each experience Ive had has been unpleasant. I feel like she hasnt known any answers to my questions and just wants to get off the phone as soon as possible as opposed to finding the answer. Ive also received short and snappy responses to simple questions like "Do you fix chips in windshields" "*scoff noise* No" Apparently after you do 20,000 dollars worth of business with them they dont care about having decent customer service anymore. I hope that Im contacted by autonation honda about this review but I wont hold my breath. PREVIOUS: I bought a new honda fit from this dealership at the end of March. My salesman was Justin Sotomayor. It was a great experience. I wanted the purple honda fit so they drove it down from san antonio for me at no additional charge. When my car came it had a code error issue that was making the sensors go off. It took them a few days to fix it and make sure everything was alright before giving me the car, in the mean time they gave me a rental car. The rental was brand new honda fit, which really impressed me. I was expecting a regular rental, not a new one! All in all a very good experience. I would recommend buying a car from them because they had good prices (it was the exact price for suggested retail on the honda site, no upcharge), they were assessable and pleasant to work with, and I got the exact car that I wanted without any hassle.

My husband and I spent a number of months looking for the right new vehicle. This was a very important decision because we normally keep our cars a long time. We dealt with multiple salesmen and dealerships, walking away feeling as though the search would never end. I was looking for a LOT: a fair deal on my trade-in, a car that would best meet my immediate needs, and a good price for said car. We haggled so much with other people, walking away feeling that we were being taken advantage of and feeling that the salesmen were just being dishonest and trying to take advantage of us. It was so bad that I was about ready to just give up and just keep my 11-year- old ride. Then my husband and I met Michael OMartin at AutoNation Honda in Corpus Christi. He has every quality that you would appreciate seeing in an excellent salesman- knowledge of the differences between different various vehicles (positives and negatives of each), the ability to hear customers needs and readily understand what is right for them, positive and honest attitude that makes the interaction pleasant, no pressure tactics, and pleasant no-nonsense business personality. He gave us the time we needed and helped guide us to make the very best decision we have made in a long time. With each new car there is not just a new car smell, but an aura of spirit that is almost mesmerizing, and being the matchmaker that connects the right people with the right car is an art. Michael OMArtin is a master at this. As long as he is in the business, we will use his service to help us find the next vehicle we need. With no reservation, we highly recommend his service at AutoNation Honda South in Corpus Christi, Tx. I have absolutely nothing but praise for this young man.

This franchise does not care about customer satisfaction, the service that was provided for me did not meet my expectations and I highly recommend to get your vehicle serviced elsewhere. More specifically, I go to get my air conditioning diagnosed and they tell me that they need to replace the evaporator core and expansion valve which was about $1,000.00. I get the vehicle back and it is still not blowing cold air, the fact that they released the vehicle to me knowing that it was not fixed is a huge embarrassment to the Honda name and this Autonation franchise. I take it back and they say, "oh it is the relay switch" and they replace it, still not working correctly when they release it to me. The service technicians are not very skilled if they misdiagnosed my car 3 times, and it would seem that the labor and parts that i paid for was not the cause at all and that they were actually in good working order. The service representatives were not helpful either, very quick to hand me quotes on more parts and labor. I paid loads of money for this fix, and it is not fixed, that is not how Honda should treat their customers. I cant help but feel like this dealership has robbed me of hard-earned money. Be weary about getting your vehicle serviced there, their lack of knowledge and expertise is very evident when talking to these service representatives. In fact, they also tried to tell me that my radiator fans were not operating correctly, however, one fan kicks on when the A/C does and the other when the vehicles engine exceeds 255 degrees and thats how radiator fans properly work. These service technicians and representatives will just tell you anything to get more money or for you to leave. This was my experience at Autonation Honda.

Why cant I not give them any stars! Biggest headache of my life!!!! Sold me a Jeep wrangler off the lot with the transmission not mounted, the AC module was bad, the clips on the hood were worn. Driving out of town my hood started rattling , me thinking the hood was going to fly up took a hard turn to the shoulder driving on the highway. I could of killed myself or worse someone else. Then dealing with the service department was a joke. They told me didnt you read the Carfax report. (like really !They have the audacity to sy that to me.) When Im paying 37,000 for a vehicle. They gave me the run around I told them I was going to trade it in and recommend I fix it first. I was like, you sold it to me off the lot this way. I could get ahold of the GM for 3 day so I had to miss work to drive up there. The guy act like he has no clue what is going on. So, so bad! I will never go to Auto Nation for another vehicle ever again!! If you want to feel used to get the sale and have to deal with this shenanigans buy here. If you love to waste your time and money you work so hard for. I lost about a total of 10 hours if work driving back and forth to the dealership. Thats not even the full story but I have a headache thinking about it. Apparently they get their work ethic from corporate because I called several times and left messages and they havent called back. Good job auto nation you got the sale!
