Upon arriving 10 minutes early for my oil change appointment I was rudely addressed as I walked in the door by the service writer, "Are you here for an oil change?". No greeting - just straight to that question. I calmly replied, "Yes, Im here to have my oil changed." She very rudely shot back, "Well, its going to be 2 hours." I then informed her that I had an 8:00 AM appointment. She then said, "That doesnt matter, its a first come first serve basis." A little perplexed as to why then youd accept appointments I questioned her response and said, "Then what is the use of me making an appointment?" She couldnt answer my question and then again said that it would be a minimum of two hours. Then said, "Im not sure youre aware of what is involved in an oil change but..." and then proceeds to attempt to talk down to me about what is involved in an oil change and why it would take them two hours because they only had 4 technicians working that day. She seems to then imply that I should just go elsewhere to get my oil changed. I informed her that I would wait because I had already driven there from Pipe Creek and had taken the time out of my day to make this happen. She didnt say so much as a thank you or that shed take care of it - she simply said, "Are the keys in the truck?" I said, "yes" and then she failed to even acknowledge me and just went about her work. One would think that having a customer that brings their 2005 Chevy Tahoe with over 165,000 miles on it that youd treat them better so they might be motivated to buy their next Chevy vehicle from your dealer. Which I just so happen to be in the market for in the next 3 to 6 months. Obviously, this isnt Cavenders philosophy. My first experience with them was sub-par to say the best and this experience most certainly made it so I would never return for service and Ill never buy a car from them. I had my truck back in about an hour but again - I barely got an acknowledgement from my service writer as she told me that my truck was done. Upon inspection of the vehicle I highly doubt that the full service was done - according to my paperwork my tires were rotated but upon inspection it doesnt appear the tires were touched. I also went to a nearby gas station and checked the air pressure in the tires - they were not inflated to the proper PSI (again they dont look like theyre touched). It leaves me to wonder what else they did or did not do on my service.

I made an appointment online 5 days in advance and received confirmation that the time was available. When I showed up 5 minutes early, I was told in a very haughty tone that there were 2 people in front of me plus an appointment coming in and I would have to wait a long time. When I informed him I had an appointment, he asked me accusingly who I spoke to rather than realizing I was the one with the appointment. I was dropping off the car and not in a big hurry anyway, so I let it pass. I brought the car in for an advertised oil change and 27-point inspection special and evaluation of the check engine light. I presented a $20 off coupon for the check engine light service. I was told that scanning and fixing what was causing that would cost at least "30-40-50 dollars, but I wont run it up past that without calling." Fine, I need to figure out whats causing the light. Having heard nothing for 3 hours, I called to get an update. I was told the check engine light was being caused by a faulty gas cap seal and that the mechanic was finishing up with it. An hour later on my way back from running errands, my wife dropped me off now a full 4 hours past the initial appointment time. I told them I had arrived and went to the empty waiting room. It was another hour before they pulled up the car and presented the bill. Heres where I will explain the deceptive advertising. Even though the oil-change special clearly stated up to 6 quarts of oil included, I was charged $19 for oil. With no manager on duty, there was no way to take off the charge. Then I was charged $14 for environmental fees and shop supplies. Everywhere else Ive been for an oil change either includes that in the quoted price or charges less than $2 for that. So, an advertised $30 oil change cost me over $67. Now the expensive part. Just to run the check engine light through the computer, I was charged $88. The gas cap cost another $19, for a total of $107. As if that wasnt enough, the $20 coupon I had was not applied. All I can say to anyone considering service here is BEWARE.

I recently used the USAA car buying services. After completing the information from USAA late Friday afternoon, I received a call from Michael Brundeen with Cavendar Chevrolet in Boerne, Texas (about 5 minutes after logging off USAA). Late Saturday and early Sunday is when other car dealerships finally called me. I briefly explained to Michael what I was looking for and we set up an appointment to meet the next morning (Saturday). I informed Michael what I wanted to finance and that I had a truck as a trade-in for my down payment. My truck had some mileage on it and they quoted me a fair trade-in price. Michael worked with the information I gave him. He brought out a truck for me to test drive and after some discussion we came to an agreeable financing price. The people at Cavendar did not rush me or try to sell me more than I wanted. Vic Brehrens the Finance Manager was also very professional and presented me options for extended warranties which is what I was going to inquire about anyway. I remained in my monthly payment and financing term range that I wanted to be in. From the time I walked in to the dealership to the time I drove off the lot, took only a few hours. I am very happy with the 2017 Colorado that I bought and was very pleased with the overall buying experience. I would highly recommend Cavendar Chevrolet in Boerne, Texas. Ask for Michael Brundeen and I am sure he will meet or exceed your expectations. Also note, I live on the south side of San Antonio. I literally live within walking distance from Vara Chevrolet. I could have easily gone there to buy a new vehicle, but because my wife had so many bad experiences with her Trailblazer and the service department, I drove almost 40 miles to Boerne in the hopes of receiving good customer service. I look forward to taking my vehicle in to Cavendar Boerne for regular maintenance.

This dealership is the most horrible and a bad place to go to if you need a new vehicle. I went in cause a friend recommended me too them I brought a band new 2016 Chevy sliverado hight country. I should have done some research before I head out the door but thinking they would know all the answer to my need. First I have a 30ft boat and needed a truck that could handle the towel I told the sale guy I dont mind to go for a diesel if I have too. And that gas is a big issues since I dont care how much I pay to fill up the tank all I care for it a long can I drive before it go empty, cam mirror also a big issue cause Im musty towel so I can get a better view. So the sale person recommend me to go with Chevy 2500 high country it would have all that I need. Well after the purchase come to found out the Chevy gas engine only give me 9-10 miles to a gallon a full tanks of gas only give me 280miles call back and ask they keep told me I have to wait till the truck is brake-in it should give me close to 20mpg not true. Then come the cam mirror I have pay extra to upgrade my mirror to the fold-in cam mirror after 2 week of order they installed in come to found out I didnt fold at all really upset I came back and told them that wasnt what I order! Well they told me it is impossible that the mirror would fold and they dont think the sale guy would told me that after a few hr they contracted the sale guy and he has Amit to it. So now they told me they have to order an additional part to make it fold-in and now it is possible lol. Now come the second set of key which the claim that they loss it and need to reorder an other set it have been 6month now still didnt hear back from them after text and call them muti time finally they say they going to order it.
